They were incredible. Because of all the marbling, they were so tender and just had an incredible flavor. I preferred them over my filet mignon. But we went there last week to get some Denver steaks for out-of-town guests. All of their steaks are now vacuum packed, and you can't really see the marbling or how really thick they are. They are about $40 a pound now and they were terrible. Tough and flavorless is what I would say. I am extremely disappointed! I don't know if they changed ownership or management or what but the quality of the meat was terrible. I was so disappointed and embarrassed in front of my guests after we had bragged and bragged about these Denver stakes.
