I'm unable to include as many details as I would like due to the word limit. But, long story short. There is something very off about Anca and this business. Anca became so aggressive that I eventually had to dial 911 - and repeatedly ask her to STOP! During the job, I began to notice areas that had been left unfinished, even though the ladies had turned down the lights to indicate the work was done. Upon reviewing, I was surprised to find residue on the counters, fibers on the glass, debris in the showers and on the floors, garbage bins that weren't emptied, and the use of the same bucket of water to mop every room without refreshing it. I asked them not to do this. We have allergies, and it's important to use fresh, hot, clean water. I also asked them to use our cleaning products, mainly because of our allergies. These cleaners are safe for us, and I have specific shower products that address mildew. Unfortunately, they ignored this request. In the kitchen, the cleaners did not move the countertop appliances or wipe the counters underneath them. Instead, they simply wiped around the appliances and neglected to clean the items on the counters. This is surprising--even for a standard weekly clean--but for a deep clean, it's unacceptable. In the bathrooms, while the showers were superficially cleaned, I could still see water spots and evidence of mildew. It's clear they did not use the cleaning products I specifically requested, which always leave a fresh scent and effectively remove mildew--yet the mildew remained. The floors were mopped, but not thoroughly cleaned; there was visible soap residue along the line of the bath table, and the table itself had not been wiped down at all. Once again, this was supposed to be a deep clean--one for which Anca wanted to charge nearly $1,000. She continued to raise her voice as I tried to explain that I've never had a cleaner who didn't know to make the beds as part of the service, or who cleaned the rooms so poorly. I also reminded her that we had discussed laundry beforehand, as this is an important part of our needs. Additionally, at the start of the cleaning, there were supposed to be four cleaners, but only three actually showed up. She interrupted me and said, "I'm not going to address that, so move on!" I responded, "No, I will not move on. These are standard steps in cleaning." While I was calmly explaining my concerns, she stepped into my personal space and raised her voice at me. I had to repeat myself three times, "STOP, STOP, STOP." Even one of her own employees felt bad and stepped in to apologize to me. I asked her to leave, but she refused, saying, "No, I will not leave." At that point, I began to dial 911. She finally sat down on our hallway bench, and I explained that her behavior and the incomplete job were both completely unacceptable. Not only did she fail to finish the work, but she chose to enter my home and raise her voice aggressively, making me feel threatened enough to call the police. It was also obvious that she had no intention of completing the cleaning, and I did not feel comfortable with her remaining in my home after her aggressive behavior. Given the circumstances and the condition in which she left the house, I told her I would not pay the amount she was loudly demanding. In fact, I was generous in suggesting $600, given the kitchen's poor condition and the photographic evidence of the subpar cleaning. At this point, I honestly believe something is seriously wrong with this so-called business and its reviews.
