Popped by there it saved us time going farther to Brownsville and even better we were able to pickup a pound of pulled pork, with sauce, margarine, and canned spinach to make a decent semblance of dinner given crazy stormy weather that is typical of spring in the area. Saw also some homemade cookies on the counter as well but we were set with desserts. Pulled pork was $15 for the pound, rest totaled to $22 incl tax. Nice option if you need to pickup things at the end of the day before 7 p.m.

If you happen to be camping at the campground, your yellow pass allows you to launch for free while enjoying your stay! We've been patrons here for well over the past decade. The owners have always been two of the best people I've ever met. I used to rent a slip here years ago for a week while we would be camping but all the slips that accommodate my boat stay leased out now, with a waiting list just for a lease option! If I had my wishes, I wish they had more of the 9-10' wide slips and a larger courtesy dock as the one becomes extremely busy during the summer rush, and a larger parking lot, yes they get that busy! All in all, we can rely on Kim and Ronnie and the wonderful summer help they employ should we need to fuel up, maybe a couple bags of ice for the cooler or anything we forgot along the way. Kim always has a smorgasbord or supplies inside at very good prices in my opinion. They sell fishing licenses, live bait, tackle, tons of snacks, drinks, random swimwear, sunscreen, boat supplies, water sports supplies, etc.

Dirty and cob webs all over. I was very upset at the condition of this pontoon. I went in and complained, the worker there said she would clean it and she did however she blamed previous renters for the rips in the boat. I told her no that wax chargers 500 hold in case you tear something up so I blame wax rental for not keeping up on repairs and having pictures on line like a new boat. Also I asked about the radio and the cigarette lighter worked and was told yes , however neither worked so we had to blow all the floats up by hand. I am 65 and I believe your advertisement for this boat was totally false also the ladder was not in good working order. Never renting from here again. I was totally disappointed. We went to Moutardier marina for ice cream and they laughed at the 600 rental boat. They told us next time to come here because they have new boats. The staff a wax listened to my complaints about the boat but they could do nothing.

So here we were, up early, an hour ahead of the local time because our biological clock is on the Eastern time zone and everyone around here is within Central time zone. We Googled and found this place, but with no reviews online, we weren't sure what to expect. It was nice to find them open at 7am. First off, they do need some signage up outside, because we passed it up and then turned back around. From the outside, it doesn't look big. With the gas pumps outside, you'd think that it's just a regular ole gas station, but it's not. They have a deli section that sells sandwiches or deli meat and cheese by the pound. We got some deli turkey and it was about the same price as what we usually pay at our big name grocery store chain. They have extremely limited cold food items, but they have isles full of canned food, chips, drinks, snacks, etc. The DVD section wasn't something that I've seen in awhile. They had DVDs for sale and for rent. The fishing license and gear were different and convenient too.

BP has an app the allows you to use the pumps any time and you get a 5cent discount. This particular location does not shut the pumps off at night. Meaning you could use your bank card even when the store is closed. This is however a DRY county ‍! No alcohol sales. Family owned and they are present everyday.

Unfortunately, this one is only electric and water, but there is a dump station. Don't plan on using that as other reviews said it was difficult to maneuver with a Class A. We'll hafta wait till next stop. We got in late, got electric and water hooked up only to find the water didn't work in our spot. I reserved Spot #4. Also, the cement pad is not level at all and took both our passenger side tires were off the ground. Back down they went and we refrained from opening the slides. Thank god we can still use our bed with the slide closed. There is a KOA down the road. If we're ever out this way again, we might try that.
