I have so many indents in my floor from everything that has been sitting, you can see any nails underneath in the floorboards and god forbid you drop something. This company does not provide specific installation manuals, I requested one repeatedly and after much delay I was sent a generic manual from Google. We had no idea what products and techniques would be best to use to keep this flooring intact. Probably would have been worthless anyway considering the poor quality. Just installed this flooring in the spring and it already needs replaced. So much time and money down the drain. Their website is also a pain, I had to call to have them fix their "bug" so the sale percentage would apply to my cart and I am unable to post my review on the product that I bought due to a reCAPTCHA verification glitch.

We requested a bath remodel from Rodney Davis Construction. They moved some of my plumbing and did…read morenot seal the end and have had a water leak for months. Causing damage to my crawlspace!! They took a bundle of electric lines in my ceiling and put them all together. We had to get an electrician to come out and fix it!! The electrician said this WOULD have burned my house down!! They also wired in my bathroom light incorrectly, causing the lights to flicker constantly. They left a big low place in my ceiling. Causing a bulge in the ceiling. They did not do sanding on the walls OR ceiling and left nail holes everywhere!! And Rodney left a week before the work was done to go on vacation, then had his crew ask for payment!! And they did this to a DISABLE VET!! Don't be fooled by these people. I would NOT RECOMENED them to do anything!! This is the remodel that keeps on costing!!

As of 2/8/18 when I met with…read morethe owner of this company, he was operating as usual, as were his two sons who work with him. This man is a total fraud! Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with this company. He's very savvy and appears to know what he is talking about. But......once he has your money...any amount of your money, he will start the work on your home and then leave you with the job unfinished. We contracted this company to redo 2 & 1/2 bathrooms in our recently purchased home. He nearly finished the master bathroom and just abruptly stopped working. The work his company had completed is beautiful and the quality appears to be very good. He continually told me the rest of the bathroom was on hold due to Home Depot being slow to fill the order of a double vanity. After waiting more than a month, I went to Home Depot. Rod Davis had no open orders...NONE..for our project. When I called him to confront him with this information, he stated it was an online order yet he could not provide me with an order number or an email confirmation he received from Home Depot, showing our order had been placed. Home Depot shows many orders and distinguishes online orders by starting with a W. Rod Davis, being a contractor who has ordered before, would absolutely know this. I checked with Home Depot numerous times over the course of a month and he has not placed any order for us. We have been forced to seek another contractor to finish our bathrooms. Rod Davis does not return phone calls or text messages any longer. Since checking into his reputation, I have found out of at least one judgement against his company in Bradley County Court from a lawsuit brought by another of his victims after he gutted her kitchen for a renovation and then stopped going to her home. If one customer sued him for questionable business practices, most likely, there are others I have not found out about. I wish I had known about them before I gave him the money that I did. Rod Davis is well known in Home Depot as an unscrupulous businessman of questionable character. DON'T BECOME ANOTHER OF HIS VICTIMS....AVOID THIS PERSON AND HIS COMPANY! **UPDATE** This individual contacted me and was upset at the review I had given his business. I told him I stood by my comments and refused to take it down. He stated he did not want me to have a bad opinion of his business and he would refund me a portion of the money we had already paid him for the job he did not finish. He said he would get back with me later in the day after totaling the work that he did do and provide us with a partial refund. That was on 12/2/17 and as of this update on 1/17/2018, we have not heard from him again. In doing further research on this crook of man, we have found out that he has been passing bad checks in our local Home Depot (Cleveland, TN) and is no longer allowed to make purchases in the store without cash. He is a despicable person and an even more unscrupulous businessman. PLEASE BE WARNED! THIS MAN WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! **UPDATE**On 2/8/18, this man contacted me to see if we could "settle up" the dispute over our renovation. This contact only occurred because I had been to the city building department and expressed my complaints about him to city officials. My complaint was the 4th received by the city about this man and his business practices in the past 2 months. Mr. Davis agreed to meet with me at his bank and refund me a portion of the money we had paid him for work he did not complete. He also wanted me to sign a paper saying the matter was now resolved. Although I believe he did not refund us an appropriate amount of money compared to what we paid him, receiving any kind of refund is better than receiving nothing. He wrote a check, went into his bank with me while it was cashed and once I received the cash, I signed his paper. I still feel this man is dishonest and will take advantage of people. He has proven that time and time again in the city and is well known in this manner with Home Depot, Lowe's and the City of Cleveland, Tennessee. AVOID HIM AND HIS BUSINESS!
