I was stranded In Glasgow and couldn't afford to get a room but had no choice! Had a small Gatorade and didn't have lid on good and a little spilt on top of those cheap white blankets they use for the beds and they tried to say my dog peed in the bed and kept my $100 deposit which was all the money I had to run on from my disability check until next month! I do not recommend this hotel owner by crooks! I will be taking legal action against them! read more

Days Inn Glasgow is the worst hotel I've been to in a long time. We booked 4 rooms for three nights and would've left if it wouldn't have inconvenienced our entire group. Towels and sheets were stained. Food was subpar. Creamer spoiled. They wouldn't honor price quoted on booking. Manager stole $26 per room per night. Argued and was very rude. We are frequently in town but will never stay again. I don't know why Wyndham would keep their name on this hotel. read more

Beware! This "hotel" was outdated and sketchy. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful... to all guests. We watched as she was belligerent to a guest before us. We had our dogs with us and when we simply mentioned that we were not aware of a pet charge, she snapped back " if you don't like it, go somewhere else. FYI.. the gentleman at the desk the next morning basically snapped the same response to a guest when they questioned the abysmal breakfast offering. It seemed that the family that operated this facility also live in a room. We were assigned the sad room across from theirs. Kids were in and out all night.We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 due to the conditions and noise. This place is dirty, sketchy and old. The "breakfast" is a complete joke and not a real option. The front desk is almost never occupied. To to top it all off the restaurant across the parking lot outside our window was doing some kind of full on construction project starting at 10pm with generators, lights, equipment, etc. Went on all night. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. The room was dirty. When I asked for it to be cleaned the manager didn't believe me and walked down to the room with me to verify it was dirty. There was supposed to be breakfast and there was none. I had friends in the area visit me and upon checkout they charged me for my friends visiting. Never once did they tell me when I checked in that there would be an additional charge to have people visit me during my stay, although they did tell me that if there was smoking or pets in the room at all they would charge. I don't smoke and I didn't have a pet, so I didn't worry about those being an issue. When I called to get an explanation as to why I was being charged extra, the manager screamed at me on the phone. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company. I would highly recommend NOT to stay in this hotel EVER. Rude, disrespectful, dirty and swindlers. read more

I chose this hotel because it's dog friendly. I have a shih tzu and a Rottweiler. We had a nice stay. Room was clean. King bed was pretty comfy with plenty of pillows. They provided the usual soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. While we were at my parents, they cleaned our room, made the bed, and gave us new towels/washcloths, and toiletries. There was a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave in the room. Lobby, hallways, and all other common areas also seemed to be clean. Many restaurants and a grocery store super close to the motel. I rated it 4 stars because there is no elevator. I will def stay again. Desk clerks and manager were friendly. There is- unfortunately- an odor of stale cigarettes in the hallway and room. Putting a candle to burn in my suitcase when I stay again. They should also invest in new shower curtains due to some staining at the bottom. read more

Not a bad place.... rooms and beds were comfortable in my experience. The only thing I'd warn about is getting a room that is anywhere near the stairs..... just to save yourself from the THUD THUD THUD of children running up and down them early in the morning. This is probably one of the worst hotels I've been to. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just somewhere to lay my head and clean up. The bathroom has mold growing on the outside of the tub and the toilet paper holder is all rusted. The white shower curtain isn't white anymore. There are HOLES in the blankets. I don't think the vacuum works. My point is- it's disgusting and the 4 hours of sleep that I wanted didn't happen because I'm so grossed out. When looking for a hotel to stay for a funeral we found this place. After booking online I got a call saying the room I requested was not available. Took 3 reservations before they finally got us a room that would work for myself, my husband and our small child. Night 1: As soon as we check in my husband goes to the bathroom and watches a roach walk across the bathroom floor. We tried to go swimming however the chlorine level was so high it burned our eyes just to walk in. After the failed swimming attempt we had to call the front desk because the shower wasn't draining. They come and snake it and the amount of mildew that came up was nasty. When I got into the shower the shower head came off the wall. Day 2: Couple outside our window, in the parking lot, having some argument. Our best guess is they are swingers since she was complaining about his wife messing her up. Last I checked this isn't your skyline 3 way. Night 2: A yapping dog checked into the room across from us and kept us up for hours barking under the door. The staff could care less about our problems and requests. I don't know if I would request this hotel to my worst enemy! read more

Pretty dumpy. I couldn't tell if this used to be a nice hotel that got run down or if it was a rundown hotel that they were trying to bring back. Our room smelled musty are towels were dingy. We didn't shower because it just was too gross to use dirty looking towels. Breakfast was skimpy and pretty gross. Our room was advertised as a suite with two beds and a pull-out sofa, however, it just had two small double beds with stained bedspreads and cigarette holes and no pull-out sofa and no room. I would not recommend this place for a family. The pool looked nice however in keeping with the rest of the hotel, it smelled musty. A couple of guys for an overnight, sure. But for the price we paid which was $123, it was a rip-off. read more

We were tired, driving on Bluegrass Pkwy. I did a quick search for hotels, and it showed the Days Inn for $75.00. I went to the desk clerk and told him I would be paying cash, for a few hours of sleep, final tally, $96.00. Got in the room, ridiculously outdated. Went in the bathroom, toilet was dirty, good sized spider on the floor so I killed it. We awoke at 6:00, went to breakfast at 7:00. Two small servings of eggs left and no sausage, and every table was filthy. Told the desk clerk they were out of food...30 minutes later, they brought in a container of eggs, and still no sausage. She said she had sausage coming soon, but we couldn't wait. My advice, try the Quality Inn next door!!! read more

The only good thing about this place is the indoor pool. There's no elevator, so you get to carry all your luggage and coolers up a bunch of stairs and closed doors, past a dirty old washing machine covered in old fruit loops, decorating the hallway. No automatic doors, either. This place is clearly very old. I could forgive that, but then the hotel maids decide to start vacuuming and cleaning the rooms before 9 AM, being extremely loud. That's not very kool for people who are there to get some rest! Then, we go downstairs to have some continental breakfast at 9 AM, and they tell us that they stopped serving breakfast at 9 AM! WTF? They also charged our credit card over $300 even though we told them we were paying cash when we made the reservations. The place is clearly managed very poorly. They should be making an effort to make their customers feel comfortable and relaxed, not more stressed. We won't be returning. read more

I am giving a 1 star rating because you can't give a negative rating! We made reservations here,even though we live 43 miles away, because we were traveling through late and had to be at a local event early the next morning. We made our reservations through a search engine site, and unbeknownst to us, management requires a 100.00 cash deposit if you live within 50 miles. Forget the fact that we are in our 50's, checked in after 11:00 pm on a snowy night and had to check out at 7:00am the next day. We had to ask the desk staff to call management and ask if we could put the required amount on a card. The room wasn't that bad, but no hot water! A call to the front desk only resulted in being told that it had never been reported before! We will NEVER stay here again and do NOT recommend for anyone else to either. read more

Worst place ever and I didn't even get a chance to stay there! Walked in and walked out 30 minutes later. Waited 15 minutes in the lobby for someone to come. Had to go find someone myself. The two people there (husband & wife) were beyond rude! My husband is a Marine veteran and they treated us like garbage, with complete attitude. They would not accept my husbands service dog even though they are pet friendly and service dog friendly. Our dog is a registered service animal with government given documentation that they would not accept and wanted us to pay the pet fee. They charged my card before the husband came and said he will not accept our service animals documents. They kept asking what my husband's disability is which is agains the law and frankly not of their damn business. Horrible horrible people. The place smelled like ass and looked disgusting. I would recommend sleeping in your car than that place. They don't deserve the business of good honest Americans. read more

I have no idea why this hotel gets such good reviews, because that was not my experience at all. We reserved this hotel for our weekend trip to Mammoth Cave. First, had to drag luggage up the stairs. Got in early in the morning, and as soon as we open the room door, it reeks of stale cigarrette smoke. Its in the curtains, the walls, the gross carpet, the ac unit, and the decorative top blanket of the bed (hotels never wash that). I instantly complained, and they offered another room, which was worse!! Since we were so exhausted from the road trip we were forced to stay the night. Both of us couldn't breathe and couldn't sleep. I literally shoved a sheet ontop of my face all night. Had to get up early to repack all our stuff and find a new hotel, when already exhasted from no sleep, and we both felt sick and had a horrible migraine all day when we are supposed to be enjoying our vacation. Although this is now a smoke free facility, it is clear they never put money into scrubbing out the old smoke and probably never replaced carpet. Not to mention only one person working, doing laundry, prepping breakfast and manning front desk. The staff was helpful, but definitely overworked. I can't belive how much they charge for what is definitely a motel experience. Pay 30 dollars more and get an amazing hotel in Bowling Green, where you can actually rest, trust me. read more

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating! We stayed for a full week and they really got to know us and we're always checking in to make sure we were having a good experience. The rooms are modest but very cozy. There's a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Tons of TV channels. The only downsides are that the pool was "closed for cleaning" the whole time we were there and the breakfast ends at like 9AM which is way too early to wake up on vacation. read more

If this had been just me & my husband, or me with one of my kids, it'd be fine, but for all 5 of us, the room was extremely cramped. Beds are truly double beds, not even full size, which isn't fun for those over 6ft tall trying to share. Room was clean, staff very friendly, pool area nice, & quite a decent breakfast. Just don't think I could get past staying in that small of a room again. Since it was to visit family & we'll return to Glasgow often, we'll probably try elsewhere next time. read more

I had to work in Glasgow for a week, and they put me up in this hotel. The room was clean, but the sink had a slow drain in it. There was a decent sized refrigerator, and a microwave in the room. Most of the staff were nice. The maids were sweet. I tried to hook to the internet, but couldn't get a signal. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, the person at the front desk said," yeah we have a problem getting a signal in that part of the hotel. Just sign in to the Comfort Inns wifi. And then she gave me a user name and password for the comfort inns wifi." I would like to thank the comfort inn for providing my wifi for the last week. We stayed there and there was hair in the bathtub, dirty bed sheets, moldy carpet and when asked for additional bath towels (only 2 in room) was told to come to the front desk for them after they gave us a hard time about it. Breakfast consisted of waffle batter that is to watery and 2 yorgurts for a roomful of people. Got a virus when connected to hotel internet on top of all this! When called to talk to manager, after writing 2 emails in which we received NO responses, front desk lady yelled at us when we asked to speak to manager about issue. This place deserves negative stars! The words "no refund" are still ringing in my ears lol! Long story but here goes. After working all day and traveling 3 hours I was exhausted by the time we arrived at the hotel which as about 9:45 p.m. we check in and proceed to our room. We open the door and instantly smell wet, musty, moldy, old cigarette smell. Which my nose tucked in my shirt I inspect the beds. I find black hair on the pillow, many stains on the comforters, ink marks on the sheet, holes in the pillow cases. The sink was cracked, bathtub had patched holes, yellowed tiles in the tiny bathroom. Very old worn out and nasty in general. Keep in mind I was not looking for there best hotel only something affordable as we were only sleeping and showering there and leaving the next a.m. I expected any minute that a roach would run out from under the bed! So right away I get on the phone to find a new hotel that my daughter (who has asthma) can breathe in. We gathered our things and went to the front desk where I very nicely explained why we were not happy with our room. She asked me if I took pictures which I did not sadly. (Should've alarmed me right then this happens there often) I said I'd like a refund however the lady said Travelocity would have to refund me. I said ok thanks and left. I got to our new hotel and called Travelocity with my situation. They explained that was incorrect that only days inn can give my refund. They called days inn for me and tried to get a refund but was told I would have to speak to the manager Jay the next day. Th following day I go to days inn where I'm greeted by a woman with black hair dye all over her head. I asked for Jay and right away she knew what I was there for. ( I quickly realized this woman is Jays wife). In rather poor English she says come to room show me. I was a bit hesitant but I went. The room had been cleaned with all the bedding stripped. The smell was better as they clearly knew I was coming and had opened he door and turned on ac to air it out. The woman would not let me speak says see nothing wrong over and over again. She brought he maid in and said told u not to clean and asked her if she noticed anything dirty. Maid says didn't pay attention. I say to they hair dye woman how can I show you when the sheets are gone!! She kept repeating herself loudly being extremely rude and augmentative. I asked her why she was so defensive and rude. I said to her you have terrible customer service skills and asked if she was the manager. Ignored me walked away from me, which is when she called her husband Jay to come talk to me finally. He was no better. Repeatedly told me they offered me another room and I had stormed out of the building angrily that never happened! I asked him to talk to the lady who checked me out the night before he said she was off, then I say watch your camera video and tell me if I looked angry. He said no refund refund a million times. Jay then proceeded to tell me I was black mailing him!! What in the world I thought. I actually laughed at one point because it didn't seem real. I honesty felt like I was being punked or something. I have never in my life delt with such strange angry people. He told me to leave. Not once did I curse or raise my voice instead I told him I felt sorry for him which made him more angry. I left at this point called Travelocity again basically to tell them they need to pull their rooms from that crazy nasty place. The man I spoke to was nice enough to call Days Inn once more. He got back on he line with me and agreed what a"special" person hair dye lady is. Again no refund could be issued however Travelocity did issue me a $50 credit for future hotel stay. Wasn't what I had hoped for but was better than nothing. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to stay at the Holliday inn express which is right up the road half a mile. There were six of us, so we had to get two rooms. We got a veterans discount for my husband and a discount for renting two rooms. It was totally worth it. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly. It wasn't a Hilton, but it was a good hotel to stay in for the weekend. The pool was great, and the breakfast was enough to fill you up. We'd definitely stay here again for the price. read more

I have stayed at Three Days Inn on my trip out west. I have been at a lot of hotels motels and Inns. Good experiences at the first three. But anyone reading this if you would like a clean room with clean towels .a phone that works. the continental breakfast that they charge you for was not there along with no coffee. Don't come here . The worst experience I've ever had out on the road. The pictures on the website are incorrect and someone else is reviewing their rooms so take a chance if you want.
