There is wifi, but I only really used it to download a new book to my Kindle. There's also a TV in the room with Direct TV, but I never turned it on, instead preferring the serenity of this quiet, historical neighborhood to cast the perfect reading environment. I'm a light eater, so Gina, the innkeeper, provided me with fresh fruit salad each morning with toast or bagels. Parking is off-street and around back, so you never have to worry about your car. The is an expansive backyard with huge old trees. I preferred the front porch to watch for the occasional passing freight train which runs down the block. I play craps, and this place doesn't have table games, so I spent my time at the bar playing card games on my phone. This place seems to have plenty of slot machines. It didn't take Dad long to drop his $200, but such is gambling. The other geriatric patients that I overheard in the restaurant seemed to have the same experience. Though this joint is clean, it smells like an ashtray. I wish that casinos would consider that most people don't smoke these days. But, apparently the people who suck down heaters still drop money in their machines. Oh well. Parking here is free. The place is easy to navigate. If not for my dad, however, I wouldn't come here.
