Stayed one night here early April 2025. experienced great service, stable WiFi connection, there was a night time security guard who walked the premises throughout the night, a free light breakfast that included multiple drink choices like coffee, teas, apple juice, orange juice, and small breakfast bars, pop tarts, oatmeal. ROOM AMENITIES consisted of large flat screen tv on a swivel wall mount, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, iron+ironing board, hairdryer, liquid hand soap, liquid body soap+shampoo. The shower was exceptionally clean, (although I'd still advise everyone to use shower sandals) with reliable hot water. The sheets were clean, beds soft, with just the right amount of pillows, no signs of bed bugs. Appliances were clean and didn't stink. Laundry room had only 1 of 2 washers working, and the only laundry soap that was available were tide pods, priced at $1.75 EACH pod, outrageous. This one night stay cost me $92 cash, no deposit, but keep in mind that prices vary depending upon location, day and what time you decide to check in Unfortunately there's no pool and no exercise room at this location which is a downer but you can loan some exercise equipment for a $50 deposit. Arrived at Hotel after a 4 hr flight to and 2hr drive from Fresno. I had already reserved my room with my wife via telephone for a certain price. At arrival the front desk "Shiran" Indian male wanted to charge an additianal 80 dollar charge for the time of our arrival. "Shiran" became upset because we called reservations once again to confirm our pricing. Upon asking him to speak with reservation on the Shiran became agitated stated "I don't understand what you want" and began to yell and kick us out. Recently stayed at the Days Inn in Turlock off the hwy 99. First time at this Days Inn establishment. The rooms were a decent size and the beds were soft and the running water was hot which is a plus. The service was 24 hours. The location is nearby stores and restaurants. Overall it was okay for the night stay. The price was affordable. read more

Customer service I booked a single bed a week out and plans changed I needed two bed on for my injured grandson. I pre paid through Travelocity I asked to upgrade to t two bed and was refused because I booked through a third party. Having been a Wyndham customer for years I never had this issue. I was given a air mattress in place of two beds oddly a female and her guest had no reservation and got a room for $80 and offered a two bed room for $90 it looked like a paid relationship to me. I was told to cancel and rebook and try and get a refund. I will never stay at this dump again the door lock kept malfunctioning, rooms wet small but it was clean. Sad customer service. Wouldn't take money to upgrade. Sad sad and just bad customer service but is a Turlock dump location I should have known shame on me once. read more

My grandson and I came over here for Christmas 2023. The rooms are clean. The staff is kind. If you need anything that they do what they can to help you I would definitely stay here and I would definitely recommend others to stay here as well they have found someone for life. I have stayed in a lot of trashy hotels in my day, but this one is right up there. the room smelled terrible, the smallest queen size bed ever. the room was right next to the laundry area and all night long we heard the washing machines and dryer, thumbing along. opened a night stand drawer and there was no bottom, soap dispenser was glued to the wall and did not work. I worked there ,to let you know they've recently had employees leave sick due to covid and won't let recent guests know they've been possibly exposed along with the filth in there housekeeping room, the laundry bins the cloths are put in are never cleaned or sanitized, they have to spray rooms for cockroaches constantly. We always make reservations online for our employees. Our employee checked in and walked to his room. He entered the room, turned on the lights and noticed bugs scattering across the wall. He immediately went back to the lobby and said he wants a refund because he's not staying there. The clerk stated she's not giving us a refund because he was in the room for 20 minutes. Our employee said he's not staying there and demanded a refund. The clerk stated she's calling the police because he's raising his voice and she feels threatened. Our employee then called our offices. We tried to call the hotel several times with no answer. We have a large base of employees that have stayed at Days Inn / Wydham throughout the country. This particular employee has been with us for over 10 years. He's not a threat to anyone. It's unfortunate that the front desk clerk didn't handle herself professionally. We will be reconsidering the hotel chain we book our employees with. read more

Freeway 99 sign advertises $35 (not $ and up) but the front desk tells me $69 plus taxes. Deceptive advertising which we can clearly comment on. Since we did not rent a room I cannot comment on the room itself. We ended up at America's Best Value at $54.50 which includes taxes, free Wi-Fi, waffle breakfast per night per couple at the original 1947 wing. read more

I called more than 15 places around here during a Saturday night during holiday season and no one had a room with 2 beds. This place had several for around $100. This is one of those "no fence" open motel with weird people walking around late at night near freeway exit. LOCK YOUR CAR. To be fare, the room was clean (except the carpet looked really old) and we slept fine. This is your last minutes cheap motel (well, for $100, it wasn't that cheap) just to sleep and take shower. Yes, im talking about the one in Turlock, by the freeway... I came down from Washington state on the 6th of March, and due to Corona-19, i was self-quarantined till the 4th of April. For all the bad comments, "the only thing losers are going to do is complain" My bed was very comfortable, I always had clean towels, toilet paper, and sheets. Housekeeping was always polite, constantly busy due to good work ethics. The ladies and gentleman in the office, during this time this stressful time they were always professional, polite, and accommodating. I would lock myself out or kill the key at least every other time i walked out the door, so when i was embarrassed, they were always polite. It was also quiet at night, i have stayed here over the years when i come to visit,the best part of it is just going back to the room and rest. To the staff at Days Inn in Turlock, Ca. Came up for Fourth of July to be with family. Went to motel 6 first, trying to save money. Bad choice we immediately asked for a refund and came here. Asked to see inside the room and right when we walked in I was impressed. The office staff was very nice and had no problem showing us the room. We got settled in but the air conditioner wasn't working. So I called the front desk and he came up to check it tried to make it work but it didn't work so he sent Maintenance up immediately they replace the air conditioner and it works great. As we were sitting in the room relaxing waiting to go see our family we had a knock at the door and it was the office staff coming to bring us all snack bags and a discounted rate because of our inconvenience of the air conditioner. I was so impressed. And will definitely be coming back here if we come and visit again. read more

I made a reservation several months ahead of time for Jan. 25th for the swap meet. We drove 11 hours that day, only to find out that our reservation was incorrectly scheduled for the 26th. They were completely booked for the 25th, as were every other motel in town. The person behind the counter told me that "Pamela" had taken my reservation, as was no longer with the company (what a shock). She then told me that I could call Charlene Parkinson on Monday morning, to possibly get some sort of consideration. No such luck. I enjoyed my night at the Days Inn Turlock. I knew it would be a basic motel, as I got a rate of $45 via Hotels.com. Yet it was perfect for the price. The room was small, but very clean. The picture on the TV was great, lots of channels to choose from, the room included a fridge and a microwave, and a coffee maker (which I didn't need, but it was nice that they were there,) the wi fi worked great, and was very fast. The motel is next to the freeway, but you can't hear the noise. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, cold and hot cereal, bread, and juice, but good for the price. Restaurants are very limited in the vicinity of the hotel, but there are some very good restaurants in town. (Especially Mexican!) If you have the "Yelp" app on your phone, use it. Overall, a very pleasant stay. read more

This place is disgusting. The carpets were so filthy I refused to walk on them barefoot. The bathroom door was busted, the bed cover was not cleaned and the mattress was brown. (I kid you not, I made sure to look for bed bugs) the dresser was missing a draw and the tv missing buttons didn't work anyways. Patching the desk chair with duct tape isn't fixing it, and the diabetes prick testing needle under the vanity was a nice touch. The fact that hotels.com even recommended this place is a joke. Although we got to check in early after a frustrating outbreak they finally did what they said I could do and allowed me to check in. I will never stay here again. read more

I'm disappointed, was in the middle of watching "Funny People" & the TV went out! Night clerk rebooted the box & it did nothing. She then said that she would leave a note for the manager to give us a 30% refund/discount. Of course manager is off on weekends. Monday morning I call & speak to the manager,   Charlene Parkinson, she tells me there's no note & the best she can do is offer 10% discount for our next visit! Not good business! I rented the room with the expectation of a TV to watch like it says in there ads, so no TV should of meant a full refund but no. I guess if you rent a room there and something breaks don't expect it to get fixed or to be compensated for it. read more

Gross! Even with the great deal, go somewhere else. Lady who checked me was really nice. The homeless surround the hotel. The room smelled musty. Air conditioner made noise all night. Had to flush toilet twice and it made a noise for like 5 minutes after. I finally was able to relax and watch the news when a roach came up the side of the bed on wall. Killed it. Went to bathroom in middle of night and almost touched one crawling by light switch. I don't think they vacuumed the carpet either. Had I a choice I would of went somewhere else. Horrible Hotel. I paid through booking.com the room on a Saturday night was $100 not worth it at all, I would of gotten better sleep in my car or on someone's couch. Door was not hinged well so I could hear every noise from cars to birds singing outside. Coming almost 13 hrs away from home this was the best experience in Turlock . Food was great the town was amazing to look at . The hotel was clean staff was friendly. The maintenance lady was such a great lady and sweet . Bed was supper comfortable don't usually stay in bed but I sure didn't wanna get up . I almost always stay at Days Inn hotels because (1) they have great dog policies in general, and I have a German Shepherd service dog, and (2) I'm a member of their rewards program with Wyndham hotels. Compared to other Days Inn locations, this one is above average in its quality and accommodations. I had just moved to California from Michigan and stayed here for two weeks while looking for a place to live. The desk staff was always courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff was efficient and did a great job. Because I was often leaving my dog there I would have them wait a day or two before I would be able to take her out for 30 minutes to an hour so they could get in and clean. They were always accommodating of this and made the best use of the time I gave them, whatever time of the day (while they were still available) I needed them. The hotel does have laundry facilities that are priced about the average that I've seen. There is a coin-operated machine that sells laundry soaps as well. The location is right off CA-99, very easy to get to. Within a very short distance you can find several gas stations, several fast food restaurants (McD's, Burger King, Sonic, Subway), a grocery store (with Steve's Ice Cream!), a Planet Fitness, a decent dollar store and a 14 screen movie theater. My favorite, though, was Main Street Pizza and Big Burger inside the gas station across the parking lot from the hotel. My first night I walked in there (I've found a number of great restaurants across the country located in gas stations) and never ate dinner anywhere else (all from the Big Burger side, but their pizza looked delicious as well). Big Burger being next door is almost enough to recommend this Days Inn by itself ;). My biggest disappointment? Breakfast. This Days Inn has such a tiny breakfast area that they have no room for a waffle iron. I had to rely on the oatmeal ... which was more oatmeal soup than oatmeal every day I was there. read more

Every time I stay here the housekeepers will not stop bugging you in the morning. Last time I was bothered three times 2 hours before checkout even though I told them to come back during check out hour. This time I had a do not disturb sign hanging all morning, when I hear snickering "yeah right, too bad" and then proceed to blast music by my door. When I left the room my do not disturb sign was not in site. I checked out an hour before check out time. If you stay here leave early because you WILL be bombarded!!! read more

Where do I start with this place...first of all the young lady behind the desk was overwhelmed and rude. Secondly, this place was unsanitary and disgusting. Our room had about 50 flies all over the walls and ceiling throughout the room. When I complained to the desk clerk, she responded by saying she could give me a can of bug spray!!!! She also stated that this was a dairy area and every room had flies! WTH! First of all I have two young kids with me, why would or should I use fly spray! I was expected to clean up my flies after they die!!!! They were not going to clean my sheets, floors or bathroom after that. I was one of four families that left last night. The 2 rooms we got was ok and pretty clean. One room the shower handle was like it was going to break off. The sink faucet was too small for the sink. There was a "hair" in the sink which was flushed. Hot and cold were opposites. Breakfast was very simple, no hot food though. Didn't feel too safe and sure enough the last night a car was broken into I guess, I think the owner of the car called the police that morning and they were there taking a report and pictures. At $127/night this was the best I could find for a one night stay. We had 2 rooms, each room with 2 queen beds. The office staff were nice enough. There just seemed to be a lot of people hanging around outside in the parking lot, I got the feeling some are long term residents. My room was clean with the exception of the carpet. It was just grimy. I made a point of never taking my sandals off to include having them next to the bed for the night. The bathroom sink handles were switched, the right was hot water, the left was cold. One of the bolts holding the toilet seat on came off in the middle of the night (which could happen anywhere, but the fact that it was a cheap plastic "bolt" didn't help). There were 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth, 1 shower mat. All lower quality, small and rather rough. In the second room we could smell cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in the room. The blankets have seen better days. The carpet was really more disgusting than any of us could handle. The Comfort Inn is next door and while more expensive I will stay there in the future. read more

Have stayed here a few times and it's fine. Clean rooms and bathrooms, nice beds and I'm not afraid to walk barefoot on the carpets! Yes, the room is a bit on the small side but I would much rather pay a few dollars more to stay here instead of a Motel 6 (Which is always sketchy). DON'T STAY AT THIS GOD AWFUL MOTEL! Incredibly rude front desk staff! I arrived Christmas morning, 2018, at around 4 am, after working the previous evening/night. I drove from Chico to see my kids at my ex-husband's for Christmas. It was absolutely freezing and I was not allowed in the lobby even though I was visibly shivering. The girl inside took FOREVER to check me in and then very loudly and unbelievably rudely said to me ... verbatim (with her finger pointed), "there's no smoking in the room, you have to smoke 20 feet away from your room, also if you have a pet and we find our its been in the room, we will charge $150 to your card and kick you out on the spot." WOW! Firstly, I don't smoke, secondly, she didn't even have the decency to ask if I had a pet. I told her I had a service dog, who works with me and my patients (I am a Home Care RN) but that she could stay in my car overnight, however, the booking.com site clearly stated that this hotel was "pet friendly." To this she just glared at me, as I was FREEZING, and said, "do you or do you not understand what I just said?" Dang! This was unbelievable! I cannot even fathom treating a customer this way! I have written to the company home office as well as to booking.com in hopes that this person be terminated, as this treatment was uncalled for and unacceptable. The woman at the desk at 9:45 am when I woke up to get some coffee was also rude and told me breakfast ended at 9:00. Um, its a holiday. Every other hotel serves breakfast until 10 am on weekends and holidays...at least coffee!! In addition to all of this the room was filthy! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! read more

I wish I could give this place a 0! This morning I had an emergency issue where my husband was MIA on business. His work had called the Inn to ask if the Manager could check up on my husband because he didn't show up to work on time (which is very unusual) and has not contacted any of his friends or family (including me - his wife) all morning (which is also very unusual). Long story short I was very worried for my husband and I contacted the Inn right away to check on him (the second time) because I could not get a hold of him. I got the police involved and it turned out that everything was OK! However, the reason why I am writing this review is because after speaking with my husband finally - after being worried sick about him and the situation - the Receptionist and the Manager did not accommodate the situation with any urgency or care. My husband explained to me that they politely knocked on the door with no urgency after I made it very clear that this was an emergency. Then after my husband did confront them later that he was Ok they never told him that they were concerned and didn't express the situation to be at all important. The Manger on Duty also did not express important concern to the Police after I strictly requested the police to check on him. This whole situation really upset me, his family and his company. I am sure there were liability issues in place to enter a room, but when his wife calls and gets the police involved I think you would realize that this was a very serious matter. I am disappointed in how this situation was handled. Just glad no one was holding my husband hostage because there would definitely be charges! Good luck feeling safe in this INN! read more

I don't usually leave reviews but for this place I had to. I booked a room online with a queen bed and when I checked into the hotel they said all they had left was a room with the twin and full size bed. I had no other option so I had to sleep in the room when I got in the room the springs were sticking out of the beds. The air-conditioner works so poorly that the room stayed hot all night and it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Some of the outlets didn't work and the room smelled bad. When I brought up to the manager that I booked a queen room she had said it was too late and that's all they had left. So irritated! Wifi COMPLETELY sucks, literally! Almost every channel that had something good on said we needed to purchase it. Bed is soft but makes SO much noise, every time I moved it woke up my boyfriend. The shower handle stays at one temperature and is not warm enough to shower. After flushing the toilet it's make an annoying noise for the longest time. The main door squeaks so dang loud when you open and close. I've been here several times to give it the benefit of the doubt but this was the last time. The only benefit is $15 extra you can check out at 3pm. So much for Valentine's Day. read more
