Covid has definitely made my vacation interesting. I found this place because I had to find a spot to sleep tonight. I was really tired and not many place to stay. The staff was really friendly and the room is clean. It's great to finally have wifi and take a nice warm shower. The place is affordable and very close to all the great national park... the drive is Breath taking.

My friend booked a room with you after being trapped on highway #1 due to an avalanche. She understood you would allow her pet, but when she got there (late at night) she was told her dachshund could not stay. As a result, she is spending the night in the parking lot in her truck with her pet. Charging $190 for a room when there are cars trapped on the highway is not right. Forcing a woman to spend the night in her car because you can easily sell her reservation to someone else is morally incomprehensible. https://www.castanet.net/news/BC/364372/Trans-Canada-Highway-closed-due-to-avalanche-east-of-Revelstoke

    Oh, What a View!

Ok, not a super premium place to stay, but after a day or two in a tent? Wahoo! And the view, the view, the view - absolutely amazing. This Days Inn has GOT to have the best view of any Days Inn in the world! (Any body think otherwise? Tell me about it!) The rooms are big, there's a fun pool with a slide (so many Canadian hotels have slides!), a sauna and a hot tub. We weren't there in ski season, but imagine these latter two are packed when there's snow on the ground. There's a good sized dining room (the food is NOT so great) and an outdoor eating area too, with again, a spectacular view. Check in, buy yourself a picnic lunch, and enjoy! A great location for couples or families.

Found dead bugs residue on the bed. Didn't feel comfortable staying there, but they were accommodating to it.

Found the housekeeping did well at first sight and closer look at closet window etc it was Bed is medium soft so we didn't mind. And the pillows case had stitched in ( soft hard ) nice touch Though both rooms we felt it was a bit colder, even though we spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to get the furnace to blow warm air. After at least 10 minutes in both rooms we gave up. First night we went into the hot tub and pool area ( hot tub wasn't extremely hot 40 c more like 30, no way to adjust the temperature and the jets were not that powerful). But still nice enough to soak in. The pool was nice though . The breakfast Continental was extreme there was ( pancake, omelette, sausage, potatoes, cold cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice's coffee teas, cinnamon buns fruit hard boiled cold eggs ) wow !!

Our rooms was nice and clean, we had a great view of the mountains. I loved opening the drapes every morning to get that view. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. We had no issues and the place was completely full. The complimentary breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, turkey sausage patties or pork links, and various fruit. The fruit was always plentiful. They also had cinnamon buns, yogurt, boiled eggs, a pancake machine, oatmeal and the list goes on. The breakfast area although busy was kept clean and stocked. Coffee was always fresh and no line up when I went to get breakfast or coffee. In general this was a clean hotel. The only thing I have a suggestion on, is there's a sign in the room saying if you don't want new towels keep them hung up, if you want them replaced throw them on the floor. Well we always hung ours up and they gave us fresh ones each time. We did discuss it with the front desk to which they only said "ok thanks". That's my only suggestion if I don't want a new towel don't give me one please. I would stay here again. The price was right as well. We paid $800 for the 3 nights.

This place is truly wonderful. My best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights as a girls getaway…read more Not only is the place gorgeous, it's clean, stylish and cozy. The bed was the comfiest bed I've slept in for years. Not to mention the bedding is luxurious, not the shitty blanket and sheet you get in many hotels or B & B's. Our room had hard wood floors, a claw foot bath, a steam shower, robes, a flat screen tv with Netflix and Youtube. You have a huge communal kitchen downstairs which has everything you need. Jack the current manager was the most charming, accommodating, funny and generous person to deal with during our stay. He showed us around when we arrived (which was late), and regularly checked in on us. Unfortunately halfway during our stay the hot water system stopped working. I am certain this won't be a future issue but needless to say it was a pretty big let down for us. (We were mostly excited about using the tub on our trip!) Jack compensated ALL THREE nights to make sure we wouldn't leave feeling disappointed. He also offered us a return stay free of charge so that we could fully enjoy the space in the future. Seriously impressive service. One teeny, tiny thing to keep in mind. As we were only visiting as friends it wasn't an issue but... Sound does travel easily. We could occasionally hear other guests in their quarters. So we imagined honeymooners or couples may have a tough time feeling completely private. But other than that this place is where you want to go if you're staying in Golden.

Our bedding smelled strong of bleach. The beds were a medium soft so fine by us. The room was clean by first sight. Was able to adjust the the thermostats easy to keep it warmer and cooler . Our stay was quiet for the amount of people who was there. We stay three days and went to desk for more coffee, garbage bags and TP, they were very helpful and friendly.

I called Pestige Inn to request for a cancellation, and they were not willing to help. My reservation says pay at hotel. Since we never checked in, they still charged my credit card for the one night stay that never happened. We called Expedia for help and this hotel refused to offer a refund. If you're traveling from Banff or Jasper to this hotel on hwy 1, make sure to check road conditions. Apparently, hwy 1 to Golden closes at 10pm every night and they do not warn you up ahead. When you call the hotel, they will not inform you either. It had left a lot of people stranded.
