About 7 years ago, I hired this company to regrade part of my property, install a retaining wall,…read moredesign and install several flower beds, plant several trees, and design and install an irrigation system to properly water all of the new spaces. This was about $30,000 total and was supposed to come with a warranty. In addition to an owner backing a vehicle into an existing tree and breaking a major portion off at the trunk, they also cut back and killed several preexisting trees and shrubs. Each year since the project, I've had to have companies out to repair or replace portions of the project they did because they wouldn't honor their warranties. They planted half a garden of annuals plants when the entirety was to be perennials. They didn't use fungal resistant strains of trees and this year's "gift" will be deciding if the trees are salvageable. The stone steps they placed weren't properly installed and required removal, repairs, and replacing. They stopped showing up part way through the project, they planted grass where I'd paid them to remove grass and mulch and then wanted me to pay them to remove the seed and the grass that grew. They charged me for materials they didn't install, like liner under walkways meant to prevent weed growth. The install of the irrigation system was also faulty and didn't pass inspection with the city. This company was well reviewed at the time. I didn't know that most of the reviews were from friends and family until after, when I'd met the crew. They've rebranded several times, possibly to escape the bad reviews that follow. They can keep rebranding. I'll keep updating reviews.

One of the worse experiences I have ever had dealing with a business! The communication was poor,…read morethe install of sprinkler system wiring is awful with wire exposed and not clipped through garage, hole in house was not sealed. I had sod installed after it was sitting out on there lot for 2 days and was placed in wrong spot until we called and was then moved to correct spot, they spread terrible dirt and never top soiled before seeding and nothing grew in. Owner came and agreed and re did some compost but the seed was awful and is all weeds! Needless to say I need another landscaper to come next season and try to get grass growing instead of weeds!

If you want real customer service, see Richie at Landscape Express. If you want to be treated like…read moreyour sale is inconveniencing their game of solitaire then go to Martignetti. It all began when I called Landscape Express in April, I felt like the cashier as well that the "yard manager" (who I awoke from his nap in the Bobcat) at Martignetti were inconvenienced by me needing some loam. I got the answering machine and thought nothing of it. About 5 minutes later Richie called me back asking how he could help me *** Huge kudos for the extra effort*** I asked him his price on loam and he was cheaper by $1.00 a yard, not a huge savings, but considering his general attitude and only being 1.5 miles further down the road I opted for Landscape Express, and am I glad I did. If you've never been to Landscape Express, Richie not only rings you out but also loads you up, so there is no dealing with yard personnel unless he is very busy (BTW all his yard workers are as friendly as he is) Being a homeowner, it was so nice to see that my money was just as important as they guy behind me buying 15 yards of loam. I just recently went back to purchase crushed stone for my garage foundation and even though I accidentally came after hours (they close at 4pm in July) Richie was as helpful as ever. Thank you Richie for making my landscaping that much more pleasant. I may not need to buy as much as your professional clients but you've got a customer for life. Please don't ever change.
