    Trapper (Turkey, bacon, and avocado)

You absolutely must stop on your way up the mountain or down. We swung in for a late lunch and had the best toasted sandwiches ever. I had the Rustler Reuben and have to say it was the best Reuben I've ever had. The marble rye (thankfully without caraway seeds) was toasted to perfection. The meat to sour kraut to thousand island dressing was magical. We also had the Trapper. It was full of melt-in-your-mouth turkey, bacon and avocado. And we had the Cowgirl with turkey, Gouda and pepper jelly. We topped it all off with root beer floats. Yum! The gals working were sweet and fun to chat with. You'll have a blast walking around the old mercantile to see their fun antiques, rocks, and fossils.

We stopped for gas and saw the Dayton mercantile across the street. What a great lunch stop on our drive across Wyoming. The toasted sandwiches were excellent. Well balanced, simple and tasty. A great store for some unusual gifts. And some milkshakes to go. The staff were very friendly and kind.

Didn't look through the whole store due to the fact of it being packed but we got ice cream and it was amazing! We tried their limited time fudge brownie waffle cone and had a wonderful time. The ice cream was delicious and they will let you get 2 flavors with a double scoop which most places don't! Adorable shop with everything from basic grocery essentials to one of a kind souvenirs. Adorable shop would 100% recommend. They have wonderful staff and an accessible building, I was on crutches and it was easy to get in and out. If you're in ten sleep this is the hot spot to go.

A small but very well-stocked general store of dry goods, local produce fishing and camping supplies and then an ice cream and coffee shop in the back of the store. It was perfect. There was a steady stream of people in the store, both locals waiting for the parade to start, and nearby campers looking for unexpected gifts or trying to replace a lost item. The coffee was good; the people were friendly; and this is a must-visit stop for finding a touristy gift, or some local goods, or an eye-opening cup of coffee. Small town shops are the best at catering to locals and passers-through.
