Midtown Cafe was a wonderful experience. I accidentally spilled my drink everywhere, but the staff were really kind and gracious. They simply smiled and cleaned it up, then made me another yummy drink. There was some Christian worship music playing in the background, which was really nice and relaxing. We were actually looking for another cafe but the street was torn up and we passed this Midtown Cafe and decided to try it. I didn't think this was a sit down and dine because I saw the menu board in the picture. But we did get a table and was served as restaurant style. Not order at the counter style. I ordered French toast eggs and sausage patty but got brought bacon instead, which I ate anyway. The food was good. My husband ordered steak and eggs, was not asked how he wanted his steak and it was well done, which he likes med well, he didn't think at the moment to tell him but should have been asked and they came back once to fill our coffee. He wanted jelly for his sourdough toast but server never came back to the table to see if we needed anything. The cafe was clean and very nice inside. The staff was friendly enough but not real helpful since they didn't come back to the table. I liked the cafe and would go again but would speak up more when things were not as we ordered. Midtown Cafe is amazing. I would give it more stars if I could. I visit Sheridan about once a month, and This is my go to place every time I am in town. The staff there is amazing and super friendly, the owners Are there everyday and know A lot of there customers. They greet everybody with a smile. The food there is really good. They serve breakfast and lunch, smoothies , different coffees, yogurt bowls and I heard They might start carrying Boba. The food usually comes out within 10-20 mins. Depending on how busy they are . I recommend this Cafe to everyone who visits or lives in/ near Sheridan. read more

I like this little cafe. They normally have good food and good drinks, and they are very friendly. The problem lately is with the quality of service. There's no reason it should take over 2 hours to get your food. Once we finally got our food nothing was cooked properly. It was either raw or scorched. Sad to see this place go so fast downhill. read more

I discovered midtown cafe when I was shopping and got thirsty. I went in to get a smoothie and while waiting I was looking over the menu that's clearly written on the wall. I discovered they had a chicken pesto panini which I had before in a different state and fell in love with. I've gone back a few times, it's small but definitely gets busy! The prices are a little high, however it's good quality, clean and neat. It's a good place to grab a quick bite or sit down for lunch. They sell breakfast and lunch, not sure of dinner but I know breakfast is sold all day! read more

Came here for lunch and it was delicious. Ordered the tomato basil panini without turkey sub avocado and it was amazing. We had Jamie as our server and she was quick and efficient. Delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. I will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. Also everything on the menu is priced good. read more

My wife and I are so thankful for the Midtown Cafe. We always enjoy coming for breakfast or lunch. MC is consistently excellent with quick, helpful service. Pulled into Sheridan mid-day. Saw this little storefront and decided to give it a try. So glad we did!! We split a club sandwich and each had a side salad. The sandwich was delicious! Toasted wheat bread, fresh crisp lettuce and just the right amount of mayo. The salad was NOT spring greens but real romaine with tomatoes, onions, cucumber, olives and croutons. The ranch dressing was creamy and a bit thick but I loved every bite. The decor is warm and welcoming. Taupe and warm red walls with thoughtful wall items are not too busy or overwhelming. Even the womens room is nicely decorated. We will go back for breakfast!! read more

The food is good, the service is prompt and friendly, and they're willing and able to modify most dishes for those with diet restrictions. Delicious & fresh food. Ate here for lunch while on vacation. I had the chicken cranberry salad, which was fresh & light & tasty. Parked in downtown Sheridan and looked across the street and saw this little place. We were greeted immediately in this cute little cafe. We split our delicious sandwich - so tasty! Salad was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The people next to us we're eating the most delicious looking hamburger and I noticed not a morsel was left of their lunch either! This little place was full the entire time we were there! They also serve breakfast so we will make that our morning stop on our way to Custer, SD!
