I am a real person who took the boat ride today. The captain was very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and restaurants. His lovely daughter drove the boat safely. The boat isn't fancy, but it's clean, comfortable and runs well. It was a perfect day to see all the different birds, and the dolphins. The boat tour was great! Captain and co-captain were knowledgeable about the history and ecosystem of the area. We got into some dolphins shortly after leaving the docks. No manatees today, but really didn't miss them with the rest of the tour being so good. Would highly recommend if visiting the Daytona Beach area. read more

We had a great boat ride with Captain John. We saw tons of local birds as well as a pod of dolphins, with two calfs. We got a great history lesson regarding some of the houses on the river and even a great lunch recommendation! We would absolutely recommend this tour. read more

Incorrect address on google. We looked up Ponce Inlet Echo Tours - popped up on google with the number you see in the screenshots. Called the number listed and booked the appointment. We received confirmation email however not informed over the phone that the online address was incorrect and to only use what was listed in the email. There was no need to open the confirmation email as we saw that we had received it and assumed that once we got to the location that the tickets within the email we would just show to the captain and be on our way. It was 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 8yo). After arriving to the address shown on google that is tied to their number we called to book, it was clear something was off. We called and spoke to the daughter of the owner (Captain John Guyer), explained that we thought we were in the wrong spot but she told us we were fine where we were. We indicated we were next to a deep sea diving business, gave her the name of the business and the address 4884 Front Street - again she said we were fine. After waiting around almost until the time of our departure I called again and was told that we were not in fact at the right spot and that our tour was moved to the next available time 2 hours later. We came from ocean walk via Lyft which was $35 one way. My two young kids were super excited but ended up standing in the heat of the marina for over an hour all due to the incompetence of the company. I'm thankful that we were refunded the tour amount however when I asked to be compensated simply for the Lyft that we took (they cannot compensate us for our lost 2 hours and disappointment of the kids) the owner / Captain refused to do so stating "it's your fault you didn't see the correct address in the email". I explained that the way we found this company was via Google, same phone number etc...so naturally we went to the address listed on Google. He got agitated and refused to discuss further, was not sympathetic whatsoever to putting myself and my kids through this waste of our last day on vacation or taking responsibility for their issue online. The lady that handled our calls told us (very nicely) this is a new company and they've been having issues with Google updating which I totally understand as a small business owner myself, however that is not the customer's responsibility to investigate whether the address listed by the business that we called online is, in fact, the correct address. Now we are out our time, our kids experience and $70 for our travel. Note that the lady fielding calls was professional in speaking to us and handled our frustration well. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the owner. Consider picking a more established and experienced business. read more

Went on a Saturday at 12pm. Saw dolphins. Very friendly staff, with lots of interesting knowledge. Sat up front, was windy so we got a tiny bit wet. Great views. Sound system should be louder. Will do it again. read more

This was a sunset cruise with all the bells and whistles. We enjoyed complimentary rum punch and a great country and western singer out of Nashville. The sunset was spectacular and as you looked to the East you could witness the moon rise. Mother nature jumped in and we watched the Dolphins play next to the boat. All said and done this is a must do 90 minutes. The captains and the crew were friendly and knew how to make their passengers feel comfortable. This cruise is very affordable and the best cruise in the Daytona Beach area. read more
