They were able to seat us next to each other which I appreciated, but they got her started well before me so when they finally got to me my pedicure water was cold and they did a very rushed job on my manicure. I asked for a very light natural color for my nails and they didn't fully remove the neon pink that I came into the salon with, so now you can see it under the light color I'd chosen today. Plus they didn't clean up the surface of the nail or the cuticle... only shaped the ends and polished, I can do that at home! I have been going to Dazzling since they opened. Have always had good service. I went yesterday for a pedi. Had new girl, she was ok. Got the signature pedi (45 min). She was done in maybe 35 min. Definitely didn't get the great massage I usually get. Then while drying she asked how I was going to pay. I said with a debit card which I always use. She said it was a 4% charge to do that or I could use the ATM for .50 cents. I was not happy because my bank will now charge me for using it so it is not just .50 cents. And they had always just charged .50 or .75 to use it before. I will not be back. read more

I had an appointment Saturday, October 6th for myself and my granddaughter. It was for her first homecoming, she got a pedicure and a set of acrylics. She asked the nail person for a rounded nail but what she got was a very square look, so much that the thumb nails flair out at the ends. When I asked her to fix her nails, her reply was "if I round them, there won't be any color on the sides where I file them.) I paid for the most expensive pedicure, the pedicure lasted for a total of 27 minutes. Now typically this is at least a 45 minute pedicure (I always ask for the best pedicure as I have nerve damage in both legs and this really helps with the pain). I even told the pedicurist that this was most important to me, however she was more interested in what was going on around her rather than giving me a quality pedicure. Today, Monday October 8th my pedicure has already chiped and the nail polish is coming off. I also had a manicure, the same person argued with me when I told her I wanted a clear coat on my nails, she said I should just have my nails buffed so that they would be shinny. I had to tell her 3 times that I wanted a clear coat (which is peeling.) To top every thing off, I took in my own OPI polish for my toes and did not get it back. I am not about to go back to this salon to get it as it's just not worth my time to go all the way back as I live in auburn. The icing on the cake was when I got ready to pay, my total bill was 129.00 but because I used my atm card, my total bill was 134.16, really 5.16 to use my atm, wow what a rip off. Ive been going to this salon since the Fall of 2016. I absolutely love it. My nails always look amazing and the quality of service and products they use are so much better than most salons in this area use. Their prices are also VERY reasonable and don't up charge you for longer nails, etc. $45 for a full set is so cheap compared to some salons in the area that charge you $60+ for full sets. The only complaints I have with the salon is lack of gel color choice but that is more of a me problem than anything I suppose. I just wish they had more trendy nail colors and update the choices a bit. Other than that everyone here is so nice and the best people to go to are Kelly, Lee, Lyn, and Larry. read more

I had an appointment here for a standard mani/pedi on Mother's Day. We were seated on time. But then rushed through an entire manicure and pedicure (not even done at the same time) in 30 mins. The polish coverage on my nails is, by far, the worst I've ever seen from a nail salon. My nails were already short, but there were no attempts to even shape the nail. I have jagged edges from where I trimmed my nails days before. Overall, it felt extremely rushed and like there was zero attention to detail. I won't be coming back here. read more

I've been to this place twice (as a back up when my usual place is booked). The first time, Larry did an excellent job on my nails. A gel/acrylic fill lasted over 3 weeks! The second time, Tammy did my nails. After about 5 days, the gel started chipping. She cut my cuticles pretty badly and got me pretty badly with the drill. Overall, not impressed with that experience. This place is also pretty pricey compared to other places. read more

I went yesterday to get a mani-pedi, it was fabulous. Awesome massage, and my nails looked really cute. Unfortunately by the time i got home, the nail polish on my fingers had already started chipping. And today not even 24 hours later its almost completely gone. This place is clean and decorated beautifully. They're always busy which is a good sign, but you Can still get in with in 15-20 min without an appointment. I went a few times to who ever was available but then I met Tammy. She is wonderful at the massage with the pedicures! I'm very picky and I like my nails creative and with artwork. Every time I come in I give her a new challenge and she's always up for it! Plus she is fun to talk too! I messed up my toes one time after a pedicure and when I went back to have it fixed they were swamped! But the owner came over within 10 min and fixed me for no charge. This was our first time at Dazzling Nails and I was impressed. The pedicure is $24 right now, until next month and it includes hot stones! I have never had a hot stone massage, but I will definitely be having another one. I did not get the name of the guy who did my pedicure but he was the only guy besides the owner. He spoke very good English and was very friendly. The best thing about this salon was that they are extremely clean. They use liners inside the water baths and change them between clients. All the files, pumice stones, & buffers are only used once and you can either keep them, or they dispose of them. They play soothing classical music and the place is tastefully decorated, unlike the gaudy Bellagio salon. read more

There is always something wrong with the pedicures here so I am finally posting a review...half the nail unpainted, bubbles, not filed straight, 2 second massage, etc. I have gone back because they are close to my home and I think it will be better next time with a different manicurist. I have had 6 different people and it's always something. My last visit, she just started clipping without asking. My nails were still short from my last pedi so I just wanted them filed. I gave her 2 colors; I wanted to see what they looked like. She told me one of them was very popular and just went with it. Not that big of a deal so I didn't say anything. I always ask them to be sure to paint all the way to the edges. Why is that such a problem for manicurists? She said she would but she missed half the nail on 5 of my toes. The pics look like the pedi has grown out for 3 weeks but it was just a few days ago. I have nothing but positive things to say about Tina (owner) and her new nail salon - Dazzling Nails and Spa in the new Bass Pro Shop/Walmart shopping center. Let me start off by saying, I've been with Tina and her husband Long for nearly 6 years. They opened their first nail salon, Crystal Nails and Spa in Rancho Cordova in 2010 and I've been religiously going every 2-3 weeks since then. I was thrilled when they opened Dazzling in Rocklin - as I work in Rancho Cordova but live in Roseville. Now I could get my nails done after work or on the weekends rather than scheduling during the work week! The salon is absolutely gorgeous and clean as well! They truly paid attention to all the details when designing the nail bar and all the various light fixtures. Prices are extremely reasonable as well! Love the new salon and location! Tina and Long both do amazing work - as does their entire team. I have now been to Dazzling twice since opening - and will start coming here regularly instead of Crystal. Tina has always been #1 in customer service - if something goes wrong she always offers to fix it. But to be honest in the last 6 years, the only time something has gone wrong is when I've not liked something I CHOSE. I've never had any issues with my nails - the quality is MUCH better and LASTS longer than any other nail salon I've been to in the area - and trust me I've visited my fair share to find the salon I wanted to stay with. I initially was going for fills every 2 weeks and for the past 3 years I go every 3 weeks because they do such a good job, my nails still look good after 3 weeks! I cannot rave on how much I love get my nails done with Tina. Dazzling does a mix of nails (manis, pedis, gel polish, acrylic/fake nails, etc...) and also waxing - I believe Tina specializes in this. I recommend everyone and anyone come here - it took me YEARS to find a nail salon that i never wanted to leave and it took years and years - i'm so thrilled to have found Tina and Long - I'd follow them to wherever the open a shop! read more

I was immediately impressed when my 11:45 appointment started right on time. The salon itself is impeccably clean and they use a plastic liner in the pedicure tub. Great customer service and I was checked on about the water temperature and if I was comfortable several times. The Deluxe pedicure was amazing. The hot stone massage and products were spa quality. My toes and feet look great and all of their polish looks clean and new. My gel manicure was quick and my cuticles look great. I took away one star because once I got into the sun I realized the polish was a little lumpy on several fingers. The service and cleanliness are top notch. I recently went to this location for a manicure. Not impressed. The attendants were not friendly and they were extremely rough the way they handle their utensils. Both from the standpoint of not appearing to be extremely concerned about cleanliness as well as the way they handled your hands and cuticles. Today all of my cuticles are red and sore. They were also overpriced for what you got. I don't mind paying for quality and professionalism but this place far cry from that. This is the second time I have given this salon a try, and the second time was more of a disappointment than the first. The quality of work is subpar. My pedicure is messy with uneven streaks and she left polish all over my toes. The manicure was rushed and the gentleman didn't take the time to make sure the second coat even fully covered the first. Within 12 hours, it has already chipped, and I have some welts on my legs from the pedicure. I have never had this occur at another salon before so I am not sure if this is due to the towel or the lotion used. 2 years since my last review of this salon and it may be my last. I used to really like this place but the service has declined. I have a wedding to go to this weekend and wanted a French manicure. Rude technician who barley touched my cuticles, cut my fingers with the nail file and did not paint the edges of my nails. She was not careful with the painting and left a lot of mistakes that should have been cleaned up. There were times she looked directly at the mistakes and then continued to put a top coat over it. My $37 gel manicure peeled after 3 days. If I didn't have a destination wedding to go to I would have gone back and had them redo it. read more

unfortunately, this was the worst manicure i've ever received. aside from the woman doing my nails loudly arguing with a co-worker the entire time- after having to ask her to fix multiple things (another manicurist came over and actually apologized to me for how it was going) it was still terrible. i got a dip french tip- my nails were filed horribly uneven, the "dip" got up above my cuticle and multiple have started to already peel (less than two days later) due to not being on my nail. it was extremely rushed, and overall and poor experience. i'm super bummed- paid $45 for something that lasted less than 3 days. would definitely not recommend. i actually regret not going back and getting a refund. read more
