They rush all clients through everything and they still cannot serve you at the time you are scheduled. The salon WAS NOT busy. Booking was super easy.. service was not.. my first time here.. my nails looked a mess and decided to try this place out.. I ended up only being there 30 minutes for my builder gel nails..usually takes about an hour... I asked for an hombre, and the person that did my nails said that my nails were too short. Which I thought hombre could be done in any length. I wanted French and he ended just doing one solid color. My nails are all different shapes and crooked and super sharp on the sides. I have been going to Nails 19 for almost 3 years and I have to say Rose is the best. She is very quick and friendly. My nails are always a perfect almond shape. I have only done dip with my natural nails. She has made repairs on bad breaks and cracks for me when needed, but that is few and far between. The dip never pops off or lifts as I have had in the past from other salons. If Rose is out, Tony is my standby. He has done my daughter's nails over the last few years and does a fabulous job with executing my daughter's ideas. read more

This salon is okay. The nail techs skill varies greatly so you never know how your nails are going to turn out. I feel that it's usually sloppy and not worth the price. The only thing I enjoy are the beverages and location but aside from that it's not worth it. So many other salons nearby that are cheaper and you leave happy with what you paid for read more

I have been doing my own nails at home for 2 years. I was so tired of not being listened to at nail salons and then being charged almost $100 for it. But, I lost my mom a couple weeks ago and haven't had the strength to do my own nails. I needed a set for her funeral coming up, plus it's Mother's Day so I decided to treat myself. This is how my nails turned out. All of them are upturned, some worse than others. I pointed it out before the nail tech was done shaping, he told me it was the shape of my nail. I have had my nails done hundreds of times. I have NEVER had anything like this before. He offered to take the worst one off and redo it, but if it's the shape of my nail, how would that help, really? Thanks for gaslighting me. He said they will look better when my natural nails grow out a bit, so I guess I'm stuck like this for a couple weeks. $75 out the door and I hate them. MiMi is the worst nail technician I have experienced in over 40 years of getting nail services. She acted as though she did not want to work on me at all. During my pedicure, she did not push back or trim my cuticles until I asked her twice. She also failed to properly scrub the bottoms of my feet. The service felt rushed and lazy. I love that they were open until 8pm and were able to get us in for pedicures! The atmosphere was very nice and open, the people were super kind. As far as the service, I'm not sure if I'll come back for pedicures.... I try to get pedicures at least once every two months, so when I came in with a recent pedicure, I was expecting my old polish to be removed and maybe a little cuticle remover... I wasn't expecting my nails to be drilled down with the electric hand drill, then sanded with the block and then my cuticles to be cut... I left burnt and with cuts around my nails. Other than the beginning of the pedicure, and when the polish was applied, everything was great. The polish I chose was apparently too thick so thinner was put in, but my polish didn't dry even after an hour and a half... I was trying to leave before they closed, so they would have time to tidy their spaces. I gave up on my nails looking good. I might come here again but request a different tech. read more

I love the large open atmosphere and all the snacks and drinks they offer complementary to their guests. They actually have so many drinks to offer, they have a menu! I recommend the pineapple mimosa! Tammy is definitely my favorite nail tech and after the amazing job she did on my nails today, I'm only going to be booking my appointments with her. I've been coming here for about a year but that soon may end. I was at first impressed by the service and quality of work. Even the woman who appears to either own or manage the nail salon used to be kind and now she's completely transactional and rarely makes eye contact. & now all I've experienced is that they rush through the service. There are a few people who make the effort to do good work but others really don't make the effort and it shows. My gel pedicures have ruined my toe nails and that bothers me. At this point you may as well learn to do your nails at home. So here's my advice: don't go on a day when it's incredibly busy such as the day before a holiday because they will rush you. If you absolutely need to get your nails done here, go in the morning when there isn't much foot traffic. As for cleanliness I would rate it a 3/5. They could be better. read more

I came in today for a quick gel color change and to have one acrylic nail replaced after it had popped off from another salon last week. The total came to $37, which seemed high for just a gel color change and one nail repair. When I asked about the pricing, the front desk attendant couldn't explain the charges. As she scrambled to find someone who could, I checked their menu--which clearly listed $25 for a gel color change. That means they charged $12 for one replacement nail, but no one could confirm or provide an explanation. When I requested an itemized receipt to see the breakdown for myself, they couldn't (or wouldn't) provide one. Overall, I left feeling that this was an untrustworthy business practice, especially when customers are asking reasonable questions about their bill. read more

I received a gift card for Nails 19 so I decided to give them a try for a pedicure. I read the reviews ahead of time so I asked for one of the recommended technicians mentioned. The older asian woman working the reception desk responded that she no longer worked there. She was extremely rude in how she responded so I decided I'd wait for the other younger receptionist to help me. I acted like I was trying to decide on services and as soon as she was done with her client went to her line. I then asked her which service and who she recommended. She recommended the $37 pedicure with Katie. When she went to book me, the older receptionist came over and rudely said "No, did she ask for her?" I then interjected and said "Yes, that's who I asked for." It was such an awkward and rude exchange but I tried to get past it. Katie came out and was very hospitable and professional, offering me something to drink and a snack. I choose a hot green tea and jalapeño cheetos. I'd pass on the snacks as the cheetos were very stale. She then helped me pick a color and throughly explained how to fix one of my nails and cracked heels naturally. She was very through and I very much enjoyed my pedicure with her. The chairs were new and comfortable with the massage options working wonderfully. But I think the polish they use is super cheap, as it chipped right away...within a week two toes had half the polish left. No "milky" sheer colors for dip. Dip looks grainy. Asked for coffin shape, got uneven, ugly nails. Should have read the other reviews pointing out similar issues. The nail tech Lily had the nerve when I pointed out that she was messing up on the nail shapes to tell me she was going to pass me along to another tech because she has another appointment. We were 15 minutes into an appointment I scheduled with her for dip. They weren't busy either. The person doing my pedicure accidentally dropped and spilled an entire bottle of blue nail polish on my $130 shoes which were to the side of the spa chair. I had to clean it up but they were ruined. I wasn't mad about it, mistakes happen and I can see that happening to anyone. But they refused to comp my service and only gave me a $8 discount. So here I am, paying $80 for mani/pedi and now needing new $130 shoes. I was upset about that customer service. Also, my cuticles are bleeding from the mani :(. Service is always hit and miss. Seems like they've hired more people for the front desk, so you don't wait on hold as long anymore. Therefore, appointments are fairly easy to make. If you go early on a slow day, you get a great massage along with your service. I don't recommend going at the end of the day especially so on the weekends. Technicians are tired. I went on Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m., got the most expensive pedicure and was somehow done and under an hour. A hurried foot rub was the best way to describe my service. A big sell point for them is the drink service offered. Don't get me wrong, the complimentary beverage is very nice, but most of the time you need to ask for it and the technicians look very annoyed when you do. This is when they are busy or slow. It is a nice option that there are children sized pedicure chairs, but the basic pedicure for a child is $22.... However, I continuously will pay this price plus the $17 basic manicure price for a child, if Andy is the one that will do it. My daughter loves him, he's patient, he doesn't skip out on her time and does a really good job of making this 3-year-old feel pampered. Service consistency aside, the salon is clean. read more

My girlfriend and mom went there to get their nails done. My mom was serviced by Vivian and she did not seem like she wanted to do the design we asked for. It was an immense effort to get her to do anything for my mom. It was a pushback to get the acrylic extensions, the color of chrome we liked, and the floral design. With all of this, my girlfriend kept having to tell her that we would like to get the nails done how we wanted to, especially for paying $200 plus. They advertise drinks and snacks and none of that was done. Instead the service was lazy and rude. Terrible service. We should not be rushed. Never recommending this place to anyone. read more

I arrived for my scheduled appointment at 10:45 a.m. and, although I was approximately five minutes late, I was not seated until 11:30 a.m. I understand that arriving late can affect scheduling, but a 40-minute wait without any communication or update was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment or check-in from the staff would have gone a long way, especially after seeing me waiting for such an extended period. The service itself was equally disappointing. The pedicure was, without question, the worst I have ever received. The quality of the work was poor, and my toes looked worse than they did when I arrived. The only positive aspect of my visit was the complimentary mimosa; which, unfortunately, says more about the overall experience than I would like. The girls are great but Jack is awful. Not friendly at all. He kept pushing my hand and shoving the LED light onto my inside hand and then gave me a look when I showed him my smudged nail. Also, he didn't fill close enough to the cuticle, so when he painted them, the edge was terrible. It looked like a five-year-old painted my nails. When I asked him to fix them he made it worse and then tried to cover it up. And my thumbs are completely different lengths. I will say that atmosphere is nice and they provide free drinks and chips for the kids which was a sweet gesture, but the customer service from the technician is subpar the receptionist at the front doesn't really explain things well And so when you're looking for opulence, this is not the place she doesn't move from the front desk to kind of help you she just talks loud and tells you where to go.
