Love the mannequins they almost look like real ladies. Very high quality stuff. They have a good view of the sleeping maiden too if you into that sort of mountain stuff. We ordered some deep fried polish hotdogs and some wings. Everyone agrees the food is pretty tasty. The price is decent, and the fries are great. Definitely decent quality stuff here. This little place is on the highway and gets travelers as well as residents I would guess. The food was good, according to my husband. I just got chicken tenders and you can't do much to ruin those. But, and this is a GIANT criticism...the place is covered with Trump memorabilia and anti Biden posters. So, if that is your cup of tea, have at it. I probably would have passed but needed calories to get home to southern Arizona. I took a few minutes to find the owner in the gift shop and shared my thoughts on the in your face politicizing . Enter into view: A dusty town with a population of 300, anti-Hilary propaganda decorates the walls, a stack of million dollar Trump bucks lay on the counter, a burlap sack with a confederate flag is stuck to the wall by the saloon-style kitchen doors, old-school lettering menu boards hang behind the counter, ... What did we get ourselves into on our way back from Las Vegas? Only a spectacular lunch! I was hesitant and a bit intimidated as a minority but I really wanted to try this place that we've driven by so many times and I'm glad we did. I ordered the Deep Fried Polish Dog that had a surprising snap to it. It was super good. A fried Polish dog nestled in between a squishy, steamed, poppy-seed bun; dill pickles spears lined the top; some peppers laid neatly next to them; a healthy slathering of mustard popped out from the side; and a massive amount of onions topped the beast and all of the ingredients worked perfectly together. I got the Deep Fried Pickles to accompany my dog and I was in Heaven. I love how the fried pickles were in spears instead of the typical chips. I also had a bite of the Chicago Dog and it's pretty dang good. I think a place in Tempe, not Portillo's, is better but you're definitely not gonna walk away disappointed with this one. My brother had their wings and said they were pretty delicious. The hand cut fries are also a delight. So yes, while this place definitely has their fair share of opinions but don't let it scare you away. The staff are the nicest people with the most friendly and charming demeanor. There's a little shop attached to it that sells random items and they also sell raw honey. It was empty when we wandered in but it quickly became filled with what I assume are the locals. It's a local favorite! And now it will become a part of my routine when we take road trips out to Vegas. Note: Don't forget to look eastward across Highway 93 to see, "The Sleeping Maiden." Great little pit stop road restaurant. We ordered lots of food. They were out of mini cheese pizzas but offered pizza bread. Kids loved it. We also got a 1/2 order of fries and onion rings. I got a cheese burger and The hubby got a polish dog with the fixings. Burger was huge and the polish dog was perfect according to my hubby. Lots of Trump memorabilia but if you care that much to stop you from having a good meal, that is your loss. Total bill came to $24.00 of you get waters. This is a great cheap eats. We were extremely happy staying at the RV park and eating at their restaurant in Wikiup. Everything was great on the RV side. The reservation system was friendly and efficient. All the services you'd expect performed well, including clean restrooms. I was surprised about the Wi-Fi as it wasn't mentioned in the amenities but was provided. We also had a delightful lunch there. The decor was fun and the Philly cheese steak sandwich was exceptionally good and highly recommended. The Italian beef sandwich was okay; it would have been nice if it would have had some sauce as it was dry. I used ketchup but that didn't do it for me. We will stop again only for the fries and dogs. Lived in Chicago 2/3 of my life, and things like poppy seeds on a bun, Hot peppers Aka giardiniera, cheeeeeeeeesy cheese fries and of course Vienna beef hot dogs - is essential to a Chicago fast food joint. This spot hit the nail on the head. Fries are EXCELLENT. Got mine with cheese and I was not disappointed. (I think Portillo's cheese fries are made with crack, but these fries were better, and the cheese was equally good). Had to get the Italian beef with the usual - cheese and giardiniera. I asked for it to be dipped because I like my bun mushy and full of that juice. Sandwich had to be eaten with a fork and a knife which was a first for me - but it didn't take away from exactly the right flavors and texture I was looking for. My boyfriend ordered the Chicago dog with fries and one of the pizza puffs which was very delicious. I hope this becomes a stop we make more frequently because I very much enjoyed the food. This place was not good. I did have to give it 2 stars though, since there's really nowhere else to go for hours. My family and I all got the Chicago dog, and they were all terrible. I didn't expect much, but it was worse than I thought it would be...I would have preferred a cheap Costco hot dog (and plus it comes with a soda!), and I don't even like Costco hot dogs! Also, the man working was not nice at all. There were about 4 other people eating when we got there, but no one came in after us through our whole meal, and he rushed us through the ordering process as if we were wasting our time (which is how we all ended up getting the Chicago dog). If I did it again, I'd have eaten earlier in Kingman (to avoid having to stop at this place). Such an exciting hole-in-the-wall restaurant for my Boyfriend and I's road-trip from Phx to St George! We stopped here for lunch (to be honest, bc there were like 2 options at this point of our journey) & the food was sooo impressive for a dive restaurant in the middle of the desert! That moment, when your'e going almost 90 miles an hour down the 93 headed to Phoenix, and you see a sign for Chicago Style hot dogs so you carefully plan your U-turn. Yes that was me this last weekend as I drove through the town of Wikieup, AZ. I had told my daughter, I bet about 200 people live here. According to the internet, it's a population of 305. I didn't realize until I parked that it was a gift shop and RV park as well. The gift shop had everything from blankets to a creepy mannequin to basics you might forget on a road trip. The owner (I'm assuming he was the owner) had a gun on his hip, which I am told is pretty normal in AZ. I didn't mind one bit, it actually made me feel better about stopping at this particular place. The menu was larger than I anticipated, with burgers, hot-dogs, chicken, sandwiches, polishes, and more. I went for a deep fried polish, with all the fixins. My daughter had a BLT, and we split some fries. (which were hand cut and amazing) To briefly explain to you how I feel about this food, I have regretted not stopping there on my way home every day since I have returned. I am the type of girl who will drive three hours for a good meal. I wish Wikieup wasn't such a "The Hills Have Eyes" type of town and I could make a vacation out of it. The drive from Vegas to Phoenix is full of nothing. Boring. This stop brings in some excitement, good food, and of course a memory. This is my favorite spot to stop for a bite when driving between Phoenix and Las Vegas. It is located in a sleepy little desert town and does not look like much on the outside, but the food is surprisingly good. If you like Chicago street food then this place is for you! They have all the Chicago favorites: Chicago Dog made with Vienna Beef, Italian Beef sandwiches, Polish Dogs, Hamburgers, Wings, and much more. But the best item on the menu is the fresh cut French fries! It is worth stopping here just for the fries. I have been coming to this place for years and have never had a bad meal. Their Chicago dogs and fries are as good as you will get anywhere. However don't expect great customer service when you come here. We were staying in the RV Park, right behind the restaurant. Since we didn't want or need to disconnect for the night I appreciated that Dazzo's was a short walk away. They have great hot dogs according to the wife. Good flavor and a nice "snap" when you bite into them. I ordered chicken wings and onion rings. The onion rings were kinda soggy inside and the batter wasn't crunchy. The wings however were very good. A little on the small side but cooked perfectly - crunchy on the outside, moist and tender inside. And the Sweet Chili Sauce they were coated with was The Bomb! Sweet with a little kick. Prices were reasonable and I'd definitely stop in again as we pass through Wikieup. I'm originally born and raised in Chicago (moved to Las Vegas about 8 years ago) We have friends who live in Maricopa and were on the way home. We both were getting hungry and asked the GPS for somewhere to grab a bite to eat Dazzo's came up, we decided to give it a try. Now as I mentioned earlier born and raised in Chicago, I worked in one of the original hot dog establishments Fluky's 45 years ago, when I suggest that Dazzo's does a fantastic job at their hot dogs and polish, I'm not suggesting the current Chicago hotdogs, I'm stating the true old fashioned Chicago hot dogs!!!! Their fries are made from fresh potatoes probably put through the French fry cutter this morning, their Vienna hot dogs, totally as I made them 45 years ago, today being Tuesday their special was fried polish, I was telling my friend how we started deep frying polish before they were on the menu. Very unwelcoming place. Don't stop here. Over priced and they charge you for everything, including the restroom. Wouldn't be surprised if they implemented a standing or breathing charge.
