Really great Chicago dog with all the authentic and ingredients from the bread to the sport peppers. Nothing worse than a Hot Dog Place advertising Chicago dogs and you end up with some strange interpretation with either jalapeños or peperoncini. Awesome dogs 10/10.

We come every Sunday!! Tommi was our amazing server!!! She is always recommending the best new doses and drinks to try. We this place!! Service excellent, food excellent and atmosphere. It's our favorite thing to do every week.

It is not that easy to find an epic Chicago Dog. But, these guys have it!! All beef dog "imported" from Chicago....the correct poppy seed bun perfectly steamed. They have all the fixin's: yellow mustard, neon green relish, chopped onion, tomato slices, dill pickle spear, 2 sport peppers (spicy), celery salt.....so damn good!! It is exactly what you hope it will be. Visit the Home Depot parking lot on Bell near Litchfield. I am heading out to get one now! HA!! Enjoy!! read more

Perfect spot for a busy Saturday at Home Depot to get a quick lunch! I've gotten doggies here several times over the years and they never disappoint. People ask all the time where the best hot dogs are in surprise and this place is the only answer I give because. Well. They're the best hot dog in surprise. I'm not a huge fan of "Chicago style" but the other options are my jam. Such as spicy polish sausage and bratwurst! I give five stars because there is nothing g to compare this place to in the area and as far as a "food cart" goes, this place is clean, the people are great, and the dogs are hot and delicious and the sodas are nice and cold! Rob has been slanging the weenies like a pro! Great guy, hot dogs are always A1 and the music is always on point. I typically don't write too many reviews but after coming to Scrunch's dawgs for a few months now, my son and I have made it a weekly tradition. I recently forgot my punch card that just hit the 10 dog mile stone. Rob not only remembered I left it but recalled the interaction too. One of the cleanest and best service anywhere with the best tasting Dawgs anywhere! The Awesome Service compliments the fresh Dogd that are served by a Great Gentleman and his service and choices of chips and Drinks gives the Dawgs a perfect compliment for a wonderful lunch either on the go or just in passing!!! Rob keeps his Dawg cart very clean and always has a very clean food area, makes you feel comfortable when your enjoying your Dawg that the food is Fresh and very edible! I stop at his cart quite often while visiting Home Depot or Loews to pick up material for my work! I visit them both because I do Home Repairs and love when I can pick up a great meal at a reasonable cost, quickly, and I'm always met with a friendly greeting from Rob or his employees! Stopped by this cute hot dog food stand/truck after getting what we needed from Home Depot. We were not disappointed!! We ordered two spicy polish dogs Chicago style and 1 regular hot dog with just ketchup for our 3 year old daughter. Holy delicious!!! My husband inhaled his and my 3 year old ate the whole thing! Bun and all which is rare for her! They use quality ingredients and all of their dawgs are made with beef. I would highly recommend stopping by this family owned business and giving them a try. The mother and son working were very friendly and efficient with everything. We will for sure be back soon! read more

When my wife told me about this hotdog stand, I said why are you spend money on hotdogs when we can make them at home? Well, after I tried the hot dog, I can say that Scrunch Dawgs makes the most amazing hot dogs I have ever had in my entire life. This is my favorite spot to go to for lunch. She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication.

I absolutely love visiting this place! Whether it's a weekday or weekend, their hotdogs never fail to hit the spot. The staff is always friendly, greeting you with a smile, and the food is simply amazing. I'm a fan of their Chicago style dog, and they always accommodate my preference to skip the onions. Trust me, it's a perfect 10/10 recommendation. Don't forget to grab a drink and a bag of chips to complete your meal - it's a must!
