The water heat coat $430 at Lowes and it was 2 hours of labor, so that is about $2,000 profit. I called the office the next day to find out why it was some much. I was told they charge a flat rate for water heat replacement and the plumber should have told me what the cost is before he did anything, He did not! The person I talked to got defensive because I was questioning the price and told me "WE HAVE TO EAT" with an attitude. I HAVE TO EAT TOO AND I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING FOOD ON YOUR PLATE! I would not have used them if knew it was going to cost that much. I would have looked for an independent plumber that charges a fair price and not used these price gouging crooks. They have a lot of five star reviews so either those people were not price gouged or in plumber terms they don't mind flushing money down the toilet. I was over charged by at least a $1,000. I'm sure the owner will reply to this review with some cookie-cutter respond. " We're sorry you feel you were over charged, we strive to have competitive rates". Yeah price gouging like the rest of the plumbing companies. My water heat sits on a shelf above my dryer and they had to send another plumber out to help take the old one down and put the new one up. I believe they charge me $200 for that, so much for that flat rate. The flat rate was too much to begin with so that adds insult to injury. The person I talker to tried to use the water pump used to drain the old water heater as an expense. It's a battery operated pump the size of a shoe box that cost around $300. That person tried to act like it's some high dollar piece of equipment that's expensive to operate. What a joke! They got me on this one. Lesson learned.

Within 20 minutes I had 2 offers of which Minutelli Plumbing called to set up the installation. Within 24 hrs all was completed and follow up was done to make sure everything worked perfectly. A little bump in the installation's electrical was addressed and corrected. I highly recommend this company. Integrity means a lot even when there are issues they stood behind their work. I left messages with one plumber for a day and did not a call back until 3 days later. Another called me back, but said they could not give me an appointment, but would call me at the end of next week and let me know. I left a message at Jewell Plumbing at 3:00 PM and got a call back at 4:00 PM. Adrian listened to my problem, gave me a definite appointment for 4 days later but promised to work me in if any time opened up. He called the next day at 4:30 PM and asked if he could come over. He cut a whole in the ceiling, found the leak, and fixed it in less than an hour. The next day he talked to me on the phone to help me make a plan on moving forward for a more permanent solution. I like the way this company does business.
