Job was to take 3 days, turned into 12 days. Mike (owner) is very unprofessional and called me cursing me out on phone accusing me of assaulting his daughter and saying I had his men walking on eggshells when they were here all because I asked them to not walk on carpet with shoes. He also threatened to burn my table and demanded payment or would put lein on my home (all of this is on camera). I had to have police at my house when they returned my table top because I didn't know what he would do. I now have complete all the touch-ups myself, and had to fix a screw on a drawer and a door that his 'crew' didn't do right, and I have to hire someone else to re-do table top because he ruined it by the paint not being dry when they wrapped it and it has material imprints and other marks on it. Turns out their business name with BBB is listed as M&J Coatings and Painting LLC and are not Accredited. I learned my lesson by not checking BBB before hiring them. You're told that you have 2 year warranty, but they didn't fix the errors because he falsely accused me of assault and made threats to burn my property. So, now I no longer wanted them in my house and will have to fix it myself. Contract says He is licensed, bonded, and insured and would supply that information upon request, yet, when I requested it I never received it. My table top is still an unresolved issue because I had to get a quote to have it fixed and have requested refund from Mike in that amount. Mike not only refused to refund the amount but told us to not contact him anymore. Be careful who you do business with, they are not always what they portray (found him on Facebook) and there are other companies with the same exact wording in their advertisement. I have never had such unprofessionalism from a contractor and would never refer them to anyone for anything!

We needed siding fixed for our Tudor and rather than replacing parts of the wood that were rotting, they filled it with putty and filler which never set and was crumbly and soft to the touch. They claimed it needed time to set but after a week of warm temperatures, it still flaked off. How that would withstand a pressure wash before a paint job is beyond me. Trying to talk to their representative about issues that arose was impossible. We ended up doing some work on our own after they finally came around to acknowledging that some of their work was poor quality. Us putting in time and effort and working on the siding was the only way we could move on and get the hired painters in to start our exterior paint job. Mind you we were over a month late trying to get Certa Pro to come work on the project. If you ask ahead about their schedule to come out, you don't get an answer or you get misinformation. They will tell you a time they plan to come and will not show up and will not notify you. While we did not want to replace all of the siding from the beginning because parts of the wood were still in good condition, we did not expect such a poor job with the patch work for the pieces that needed work. This company does not offer to help in any way and their people are difficult to deal with. We used them because we used Certa Pro for painting and they recommended this sister company for carpentry. Biggest regret. We could not put our house on the market on time and they didn't even clean up afterwards. Well, unless you count throwing away parts in our yard waste bin and us having to transfer that to our garbage bin. Anyone else would be a better carpenter. They did a great job. They were dependable, communicated very well about when they were coming, what times, etc. they were super quiet and left the house clean every night when they left. Great bunch of people , personable, friendly. They painted out entire inside of our house, they did caulking and minor drywall repairs. Everything looked great when they were done. I recommended Chris and lucky 7 to a neighbor. I would have them back again when I need paining done.

I love GreenWay Painting!…read more My husband and I have owned a home for just about a year now, and we are so happy to have found GreenWay because they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. We've had them work on 3 projects (and are set for a couple more) since moving in: 1. Painting the linoleum floor in our basement. The previous owners of our house had left an oddly-shaped section of linoleum floor in the basement. Replacing the floor was out of our budget, as was putting tile or laminate over top. On a whim, I googled 'painting linoleum floor' and was super relieved to see it was possible...but slightly disheartened to learn that when attempted as a DIY project it usually didn't last for very long or had mixed results. That was when I saw a GreenWay Painting business card at Reality Tuesday and gave them a call. This was our first time working with them and Carl, the owner, was very courteous and professional. A couple days later we had a beautiful deep, dark brown painted linoleum floor instead of the faded yellow floral monstrosity. A year later, it is in like-new condition still. 2. Cleaning our dryer vents. I got an email back in the winter that GreenWay was offering a special on dryer vent cleaning. I gave them a call, had it scheduled and one of their guys came out to clean the vent. He ended up not needing to clean the vent...and this is why I'm bringing this up - it's so difficult to find a trustworthy handman type company, so imagine my surprise when the guy came back upstairs and told me there was nothing to clean so he would be on his way. He could have just 'cleaned' the vent and charged me for it and I would have never known. But he didn't. I wasn't even charged a fee for having someone come out to do nothing. This is why I will always use GreenWay - they have such great integrity. 3. Replacing the caulking around our tub in the shower. Kyle from GreenWay did this work. The previous home owners had put grout around the tub to seal it to the tile our shower has in it. Over time, the grout started cracking and splitting. We called GreenWay and they came out and peeled out the grout and replaced it with some very nice caulking. About 2 or 3 weeks later, we got a call from Kyle asking us how the caulking was doing. He had used the same product in his own bathroom and noticed it was separating and bubbling. As it turned out, it was doing the same in our bathroom. So, Kyle came out and replaced the caulking again. Again... the integrity in this company is incredible. Kyle did this work for free, and contacted us on his own. It's clear that GreenWay takes its work very seriously and is proud of what they do. Up next we're going to have them install a back-splash in our kitchen and I can't wait to see what great work they will do. Don't hesitate to call GreenWay if you need painting or other handy work done - they will do it honestly, correctly and professionally.

Just on some of the vertical (rail and support) boards. (Really!? Maybe one untrained worker? But why would you let someone paint without having been taught the basic skills? ) They did repaint what I could see during the walk through. But, if a more transparent stain had been used reapplying would not have covered up the initial bad paint job. I will have to sand and repaint what still looks spotty in the fall. The floor looks good. If it doesn't peel at least I have that. ALSO: first and second day needed to use the bathroom less than 20 minutes after arriving at 8am. Third (extra) day they were told beforehand that the house would be locked. ( I had to run errands throughout the day). Few days later I found soiled napkins/ wipes and a big shit log on my property!! McDondals is less than 10 minutes away!! Healthy people can tell (hold it for) at least 15 minutes before they actually must do a #2. Aren't most homes locked since most clients work 9 to 5 .??! So shouldn't they be used to coordinating their potty breaks and lunches around their work? Their contract looked so professional. They sounded professional. Had some good reviews. I guess I should have dropped by their office.

And I told them I had insurance the insurance will be taken care of it for some reason the insurance never paid it so they turn me over to a bill collection agency over this $600 finally my insurance paid and we had a settlement payment and then they overcharged me on the settlement payment. I am seriously considering taking into court especially for what some of the things that the man said to me on the phone accused me of insurance fraud because I offered a settlement instead of the full amount. Voicemail said "your call is important to me...I will return it no later than end of business the following day" I0/11 Tuesday - Five days later, Owner Matt M called and said his phone was having problems and he got a huge dump of messages (including mine) the night before. Not happy with such a late response, but scheduled for estimate on Thursday two days later anyway 10/13 Thursday - Matt comes out and in 15 mins reviews the three jobs suggesting they're an easy fix, offers some alternative ideas, takes my email and says "Give me a day or two and I'll email you an estimate" 10/18 Tuesday - Five days later I still haven't heard from Matt so I call asking about the estimate 10/21 Friday - Two days more and still nothing so I call again and leave my name and email awaiting a response 10/27 Thursday - Six more days and still nothing so I leave a message asking for anyone to return my call, hoping somebody would abide by the "return your call by end of business the following day" mantra 10/28 Friday - In a last ditch effort I attempted contact through email on their company website noting that I understand scheduling the work may be a negotiable time frame based on the jobs they already may have booked, but all I wanted was acknowledgement and an opportunity to accept/decline their work (i.e. A return call to discuss options) To this date, three weeks later - nothing.
