I've found Anne to be informed, responsive, patient and professional, especially in the all-too-frequent instances when she has to deliver news that a homeowner probably doesn't want to hear. Serving as "the messenger" is never a fun job, but she does so effectively, and then follows up by communicating the homeowner's concern to the Board. It's not been completely smooth sailing with TMT, but as a Board, we've brought to them our concerns and they've been receptive and accommodating. I have the added perspective of working with a different, much more difficult property management firm for my day-job (I won't mention them in this review). It is in considering the challenge I face with them that I can better appreciate the working relationship I have with The Management Trust. This relationship feels to me much like a partnership. I appreciate that on countless occasions Anne/TMT has been a step ahead of our Board, advising us on liability matters, preparing our association for legislative changes, and even inviting me to participate in a training they hosted! I know it's easy for homeowners like myself to place blame in companies like The Management Trust when we are unhappy with something, even when it's not something they are in a position to address. My experience at 524 W Greenwood Ave has been some of the most unnecessarily stressful of my 50 + years as a renter. I was a homeowner a few times during this time also I am very aware of the responsibilities of an owner and as a renter. Roberts client, and defacto mother/tenant have made it nearly impossible for Robert to have managed my tenancy properly. I want to believe, given the appropriate opportunity, I would have experienced a more favorable outcome. Robert, to my knowledge, has not been directly involved in the nefarious actions of his clients. The turning off of my heat and hot water on several occasions in the past month. The hiding of my trash cans. The theft of my mail and subsequent use of my bankcard by a family member. The constant harassment, verbal assaults, physical threats and finally lying regarding my exclusive use of a patio and then in retaliation, excluding it as a punishment. I believe Robert was acting in good faith regarding his client. However I have and continue to suffer greatly at the hands of his client. I can only close my eyes, click my heels together 3 times and repeat, "there's no place like home," and hope a house falls on top of his client. When I open my eyes I will be transported to the home of my dreams, on 3/2/2026, far, far away from this scary horrible place. I will pray for the next tenant!

We requested more information about the leak and Rich agreed to a plan to move forward. A few days later, we received an automated "application denied" email with a false reason. When I tried to call to clear things up, no one would explain what happened or discuss the denial. I'm sure they will cover up the mold issue and rent the property to the next unsuspecting renter who doesn't ask questions. This was such a strange and robotic experience, and I would be very careful about trusting your personal information and application fees with this unscrupulous company/overseas call center.
