I showed up to work out at 9 p.m. on a Friday, assuming the gym would be open, only to find it closed and had to drive to the Lynnwood location instead. If you care about cleanliness, this is not the place for you. If you can tolerate poor leadership and a filthy environment, then go for it. I wonder if at all there is a management that takes care of these. No point raising these concerns with the staff. This club does not have any quality to qualify for a "Signature" club. The drier always breaksdown and they are out of towels. Chewing gums on almost all the threadmills. Water fountains are broken. Then in fall, by this time they hit with a late fee each month since they didn't have a bank account numbers on file, but had my card which I guess to them isn't a valid form of payment to planet fitness which is ridiculous) I was talking to a manager in Katrina I believe her name, she was at least trying to help me get it resolved at first, submitted a refund for my late fees and finally got my bank account numbers resolved, and at least acknowledged that it wasn't fair I was paying 10 more a month for a late fee I don't deserve to pay. I was told by her she would keep me updated but I had to keep calling myself to get updates for over a month in the holidays. Finally again I called myself this week only to find out she's not there anymore, and I had to explain my situation 10th to this new manager, Zack. He explained that the refund was declined and honestly could not of cared more about the almost year of me getting hit with late fee each month because other employees didn't help me or promised to call back and never did so. Let me tell you, he couldn't care less. I asked since planet fitness declined my refund of "late fees" they I don't feel I deserve, can it be applied to my monthly credit. His response, "that's not something we do here" and asked if there's anything else that can be done or I can talk to someone above he said "nope!" WOW. I was a fitness manager for 5 years, I'm just not buying it. He also mentioned "oh well planet fitness refunded you one late fee in June we can't do another" Um, I got NO refund for any fees that I am aware of. And so you guys can do them too. Very condescending tone really did not care at all. 9 months of communication with this place only to get a fat I don't care from the manager. Just so disappointing since I have been a member since before this place even opened and was a presale member. Want a gym that cares about long term members? Keep looking elsewhere!

I appreciate that the play structure is designed tall enough for parents to navigate as needed too, even on upper levels. There was also plenty of space for parents to hang out and watch. The party room was totally serviceable (we booked a 12-kid package with 7 kids and 12 adults, which meant some of the adults were standing (12 chairs), but it worked fine and it didn't feel crowded). I am glad we booked a larger party size than needed so some adults could sit! You are allowed in 30 minutes before your start time to decorate - and they leave blue painter's tape for you. I pre-staged one wall mural, two tablecloths, a banner, and some hanging decorations in a tub and that transformed the plain space quickly and perfectly for a kid's party. Food was better than I expected for a play zone cafeteria - pizza was included in the package, and we added a half-tray of chicken tenders (very popular), which came with fries, and a half-tray of fruit (which the kids loved and was fresh). Lemonade was tasty too. Had a whole pizza left over! The only outside food you can bring is a "celebratory dessert" - easy!! Our party host on the day of the party was sweet, accommodating, and low-key while also checking in the perfect amount. All other staff onsite were also welcoming and helpful. I can see how two hours could be tight for some folks, but they're very upfront about the expectations, and it was no big deal - I just kept an eye on the clock and moved things along. Booking was a little confusing on the website (a larger room size was incorrectly showing for the smaller party package), but their party coordinator got me fixed after I screwed up my reservation initially. As a beginner, it helped me a lot! Their convenient showers (2) are available for you after a workout to freshen yourself up. The showers are fully equipped you don't need to bring anything (see pictures). If you are looking for a gym where you feel better after each session, bStrong is your place! My training buddy today was a 60-something year old lady, who just decided to start going to the gym. We had so much fun and she was so inspiring!
