Stay away at all costs - they caused 5 figures of damage to my house and ghosted me. We paid cash…read moreso have no recourse. The manager Jared is evil, evil, evil. I paid a ton of money for them to come clean my carpets and clean my vents. The techs dumped so much water on the carpets that the entire second floor smelled like dead animals and water ended up leaking into the first floor, causing enough damage that I have to redo my dining room. They also ruined a piece of furniture that was nailed into the wall when they pulled it away to clean the vent behind it. We saw them do it and called them out on it, and the company later refused to pay for the broken furniture. I didn't see that coming for a company with so many good reviews. Lot of excuses on the water damage - they blamed the water damage on the roof, so I had a roofer come check out the roof who said it wasn't the roof. They blamed it on the HVAC so I had an HVAC tech come check out the HVAC unit who said it wasn't the hvac unit. They had a water specialist come who said he couldn't say with certainty that it was from the carpet cleaning, but it could have been from the carpets. When we spoke to the water damage specialist, he said it likely came from the carpet cleaning. So unprofessional. They have completely ghosted us. I've called and texted Jared multiple times asking for him to connect me with the owner, and he ignores me. Complete ghosting. My bad for trusting these scam artists with my house. In response to Bills response below - I have an email chain asking for the photos where Jared says no. The report also was done several days after the damage was done and we had dehumidifiers and fans going full time to dry the carpet. Additionally, the report says the water damage was from a, " isolated water event rather than an active exterior or plumbing leak." We had our home inspection Wednesday and there was no water damage going down the wall into the dining room. Your team came Thursday. Then the damage was visible...

The technician charged me $270 in cash, but the dryer vent was not cleaned properly. Even worse, the technician damaged the vent and put it back in place without telling me it was broken. When I later started my dryer, the vent fell onto the floor. Because I needed to use my dryer safely, I had to spend additional money to have the vent repaired. This happened on Wednesday, and I have repeatedly contacted Team Green to report the issue. Each time, I am told that a manager will call me back, but no one has contacted me. Now, when I call for an update, my calls are being hung up on. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I paid $270 for a service that was not completed properly, my property was damaged, and I had to pay additional money to correct the problem. I am requesting that a manager contact me immediately to address this issue and discuss appropriate reimbursement.

My guess is that they contact out the works this guy came and convinced me to pay $1022 for a deep and change the foil duct. Because they contacted out the work, the COI certificate of insurance and the receipt did not match. I needed this in order to show my townhouse community that I had it done. Also, I went to use the dryer today and the replaced foil duct was detach! Now I have to hire another company and pay to have this fixed! I have asked for my money back. But i am not going to hold my breath!

I had a terrible experience with DC Carpet. I asked for 3 rugs to be picked up and cleaned. Simple…read morerequest, right? It started out alright when they picked them up but everything else was terrible. It took 3 appointments to get them back. The first time they wanted to reschedule because it might rain. OK, fine. The second time they were supposed to come drop them off at 1pm but showed up at 9:30 in the morning, literally banging on my door and sending texts saying they were outside, after I specifically told them I was not available (I work later in the day and was sleeping). When I asked what happened, I was told the appointment text thread was "deleted" and since it was not entered into their appointment book they decided to just show up when they wanted, I guess. When I finally got them back, one was an OK job. Didn't feel deep cleaned but acceptable. The second had things on it like it hadn't been vacuumed but smelled as if it had been lightly shampooed. So I don't know what happened there. The third, however, hadn't been touched. When I told the owner David this he continued to repeat that he had personally cleaned my rug 3 times and vacuumed it. I said he must be mistaken because the rug is definitely untouched and he absolutely wouldn't concede that he might have made a mistake. Imagine going in circles about a darn rug. "David, it's not clean." "I cleaned it." "David, you've made a mistake, the rug is not clean. "I cleaned it." "I'm sorry but this rug is in the same condition I gave it to you." "I cleaned it." This went on for like 10 minutes. I told him that if this were true then there wouldn't have been my cat's claws, hair, fuzz, etc on it that was there when I gave it to you. When walking on it your feet get dirty and it smells like dust! He said nothing but continued to assert that he himself had cleaned the rug three times. It got to the point where he started gaslighting me. He said his staff told him that I was rude, didn't want to pay, and shut the door in their face. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Imagine someone arguing with you about things that occurred that they were not present for. Imagine this person telling you that you did things that you did not do. Repeatedly. I can only surmise that these accusations were twisting the truth: the staff was walking on my living room rug with dirty street shoes and I asked them to not do that = "rude". I was asked to pay with Venmo, I said I didn't have it and could I call David and pay with my credit card (to which they said yes) = "didn't want to pay". After they finished bringing the rugs in they politely said goodbye so I closed the door = "they said you shut the door in their face". David agreed to come look at the rug that was not cleaned but I ended up canceling because I was so uncomfortable after the phone call I didn't want any further contact with this company. I asked for a refund for the rug that was not touched and it was sent. Thank goodness because I didn't want to escalate this. I just wanted to forget about the experience and move on.

I can understand if not all stains are removable but this rug looked like it was never cleaned at all. In fact there were still xmas tree needles on the underside of the rug from months before so how thorough could they have been? I used a steamer vac on it afterwards and the water came out BROWN. That's just wrong.
