If you're like me these are the things you look for when you hire someone. Gus and Chris are the epitome of all of these. This is the second time we hired Gus. The first time was exterior and this time was interior and we will call him again for our next project. Daily prep and clean up are exceptional. The finished product is beautiful. I highly recommend Gus without any reservation!

He was very responsive to emails and questions , on time every day, and very clean/organized which was much appreciated since they were working throughout my house. He and his team also went above and beyond, see below for more details. I will be recommending Gus to anyone that is looking to hire a professional painter. His pricing is fair and his work is exceptional! Above and beyond moments: Paint color choice - After their first day of painting master bedroom/upstairs hallway I was having a touch time visualizing the color we chose to run throughout the entire house. He was very professional when I told him I was unsure. He consulted on alternative colors, brought additional samples he already had, and even ordered a couple samples. I had about 1/2 a day to decide and I did not feel rushed. Gus did a great job communicating the timeline and when it was going to start costing more money. The process ultimately made me feel very confident with our color choice and we are very happy with the results! Scope Change - We added on painting wrought iron railings, the week before starting the job. He was able to accommodate the additional project problem! Unquoted trim work - There was 4 months between quoting and job start. I forgot that we had discussed that I planned to paint the space on our windows between the shutters and the window. (I was in a money saving mindset, I said I will paint the trim/baseboards). I asked him about that section and he reminded me it was not quoted. I left for the day and he and his team went ahead and painted them anyway, with no added cost.

**The Business**…read more Rodin painting is the best in class. Nick Rodin, the owner, has been painting for over 40 years and comes from a long line of professional painters. He now employs his nephew and grandson and is passing down all the tricks of the trade. Bonnie, Nick's wife, is the unsung hero of all family owned businesses. She does their books, scheduling, written contracts, payroll; she's a jack of all trades. Bonnie's consistent communication throughout the process is second to none. Rest assured, Bonnie is always there to contact when you have questions and is just as knowledgeable (if not more so!) than some of the painters. I spent over 90 minutes on the phone with her at 9PM going over trim and body colors. **The Service** Nick did the walk through and quoted me the median price for painting the outside of the house. What really sold me when selecting between four painters was the professionalism and thorough contract that was drafted by Bonnie. Every single detail of what they were going to do: the type of primer, that type of paint, the removal of a satellite dish, was described in detail. After the initial quote and paint-prepping phase of the process, I changed my mind. Rather than go with your standard acrylic-based paint, I wanted to go with elastomeric paint. Elastomeric paint is "thick as cranberries", as Nick put it, and demands to be hand rolled rather than sprayed on. It was amazing that they were able to work that unexpected change into their extremely tight schedule. The total timeline was about 9 days. Not a single detail was missed. Nick is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to doors, vents, and stair rails. **TLDR** Suffice to say, my house looks absolutely amazing. Nick did an amazing job and Bonnie was a delight to work with. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to add significant value to their home. If you want to employ honest painters that will treat you like family, you've found the one.

They also went in my laundry room and washed their paint stuff and got pain all on sink and cabinets. Save yourself the headache and drama.
