He was quick to respond to my inquiry and get us scheduled, helped with the lights ordering, arrived on time and the lightening was so beautiful! After renovating my deck, I decided to string lights to add a finishing touch. Initially I planned on doing it myself with help from my young adult son. Arborist Pro has done excellent on all my lighting: Christmas lights, front yard and walkway, backyard, and cafe lighting on my patio. Mr. Lastra continues to lie. It is unbelievable to us. To set the record straight, after Mr. Lastra damaged our property, I tried for months emailing and calling Mr. Lastra many times as did my insurance agent to try to resolve the issue. I even offered for him to do further tree work instead of paying us for the damages to our property! I repeatedly asked him for the name of his insurance company and the information as did our insurance agent and he refused to give it. We begged him. He simply did not wish to compensate us for the damage and he refused to take our calls. He wanted to get away with it. He is as dishonest as they come. Another lie! Mr. Lastra did not take me to Court, rather I am the one who went to small claims Court and he was served with papers, thus he had to appear in Court. I can provide the docket number (GV1300167000 dated 3-15-13) (Fairfax County Small Claims Court to prove that he is lying again saying he took me to Court. Only after he was served papers to appear in Court and only two days before our court date he provided his insurance information. He actually appeared in Court stating to the judge that he was not served papers!!! How would he have known to appear in Court had he not been served papers? I guess he did not think that one out. That lie to the Court was quickly dispelled when the judge pointed quickly to the sheriff's warrant. Mr. Lastra continues with a third lie, that we got less than what we asked in damages. I can certainly provide my emails to anyone to show the costs that we asked Mr. Lastra to cover. Nothing more than what he damaged. His insurance agreed with tis and paid for all the damages he caused to our property. They paid us $1,500.00. The truth is as I had a tried to get Mr. Lastra to be honest and own up to his responsibility, I had asked him for less than this amount asI had not included all the damaged items. Had he agreed to work with us from the start we would not have had to file a claim at all and as I stated we offered him the option to do a little more work for us. That's what you get when you're dishonest. read more

Edwin trimmed some branches around my property and did exactly as I wanted, as well as haul away the debris. The best part is my husband who tends to be very frugal thought his fee was reasonable. I have no doubt that we will hire him again. He was very professional and helpful. And when my car battery died, he helped me out! read more

Edwin Lastra is an absolute professional. We contacted him to dig fence post holes for us. He made an immediate appointment to come out and take care of the task. He spent time with my husband walking the yard reviewing what needed to be done. Really, post holes are not that big a deal but Edwin treated it otherwise and did a terrific job. He went the extra mile marking the yard so my husband could mark a plumb line when he starts construction. He asked us what we wanted to do with the dirt he removed and when my husband said he wanted to use it to fill a raised garden bed, Edwin went the extra mile and actually bagged the soil and stored it under the deck. I have used the services of Arborist Pro for several years now. The projects I have used have ranged from landscaping to handyman services. For landscaping services, they have done extensive planting of shrubs and plants, yard cleanup, as well as tree removal, and tree branch trimming/removal. For handyman services, they have done a variety of projects from installing insulation to my storage room to assembling and fixing a variety of items.
