What they don't tell you is that applies to the light Bulbs only and if Luppen Installs them it cost $150/visit even if only one light is replaced. If you do it yourself you have to mail in the burned out bulbs bedore they send you replacements. All-in All not a very good Life Time warranty. Other Lighting companies provide better. read more

I had some additional lights installed and some animals had chewed the power lines which caused a disruption. In the summer heat, they made their best efforts to make their way out to me. I'll try not to gush...ok, I'm going to gush. From the very first contact with Walter, his coming out to do an estimate and listening to our desire for understated landscape lighting, the quick scheduling of the job, to the excellent installation--Nupen is hands down the best there is. Part of the job was fixing some of the Volt lighting I'd installed a few years ago, half of which was no longer working. Nobody ever said what an amateur job I'd done, nor did anyone try to sell me all new gear to replace it. They told me what I'd bought was good stuff, and they'd repair it and get it back into working condition. Then, they helped us decide what understated lighting could look like and put together a plan. The price was reasonable, the crew was fantastic, and nobody ever tried to really sell us anything. We selected Nupen lighting to come and fix our outdated outdoor light system. We did not want all new lights and gave Keda a budget and he worked magic! We have some new fixtures to replace broken ones and they were able to rebuild some older one so we did not need to buy a whole new set. We also switched to led lights. After many years of trying different companies or referrals, we are so glad we found Nupen who pulled everything together and eliminated 3 electrical boxes and put everything we needed into 1electrical box inside of garage. The other day we were actually in the process of having the stone work to our outdoor pool and Jacuzzi completed that next morning and one of his ideas was to put lighting on / in the Jacuzzi stone work ... this had to be done quickly and he came that next morning right away with lights, tools and wiring to get those items done right before the pool contractors completed the masonry work. We bought a fairly new home and with the exception of two lights on the garage and one at the front door, no real outside lighting. We chose to go with Neupen Lighting because of the positive online reviews they've received along with competitive pricing. A little more than a week ago they installed 4 low voltage led lights to illuminate columns on the front of the house, a flood light above a front awning, 2 lights onto both sides of the house, and a timer/control box inside the garage. We are happy with the aesthetically pleasing appearance; that the lights are not overpowering especially the side lights that provide a floodlight effect but again, aren't overpowering; and we're especially pleased with the added sense of security this provides. We were impressed with Nupen's workers who showed up on time; went about their job and even though it was lightly raining, finished with no issues; and finally, I was especially pleased that they were able to add two additional lights that I originally hadn't ordered. We have no reservations about recommending Nupen. read more

We recently purchased a home with existing exterior home lighting that had some issues (a severed wire between the photoelectric sensor and the control panel, a control panel located outside which probably led to the severed wire, and a photoelectric sensor hidden behind a bush.) Nupen Lighting was willing and able to diagnose the problem with the current setup and move the panel inside the garage and the sensor to a better location for a very reasonable price. It's all working perfectly now. Other exterior lighting companies were more interested in trying to sell an entire new system rather than fix the existing one. read more

After three phone calls and an email which went unanswered, Nupen has not lived up to its commitment to replace for free my deck ramp lights, three of which are not working properly. Nupen's lack of attentiveness is surprising, the on-site manager and installation crew were professional and courteous when the work was performed, and have returned to replace lights as they failed, which has been often. Nupen claims they received a flawed batch of lights, and therefore would replace them as they failed rather than give me a few to change out as the lights failed. Now that three lights have failed, and Nupen has refused to respond to my request for new lights--I would even pay to just get them--I have to find an outlet like Dominion Electric and hope they carry the lights that I need. If I cannot, the several thousand dollars I paid for the deck and ramp lighting will be lost, which is unacceptable. I am puzzled by Nupen's total disregard for my needs, and believe that I need to inform potential Nupen customers that they may fail them as they have me. I never post reviews but in this case Nupen needs to be held accountable for neglecting to live by its commitment to customers. read more
