After an excellent job on a chandelier install, I hired him again for some diagnostics and repair. One was a porch fan that stopped working and the other was a bathroom light/fan re-wire as a result of the original home builder's electrician ignoring the color coding of wires and just made it work. He did great with the bathroom light/fan rewire, and the porch fan did work when he left. The problem is that the porch fan stopped working a few days later. Unfortunately, ran into an issue getting him back to check because he's in too much demand. Finally, after over a month of trying to get him back to perform a check (he does have a 1 yr warranty on his work) - he did - and it was a simple fix that had nothing to do with the quality of his work. So of course, now we have more work and will hopefully be able to hire him again if he has the availability. read more

There was no upselling, no nonsense, just a professional looking to do good work at a fair price. Before speaking with Guivi, I got quotes from 7 companies ranging from larger corporate feeling companies to small family owned businesses. I needed a handful of circuits rerouted and a car charger run across the length of the house. Without fail, all of the bigger companies sent someone out for a "free" quote and all of them quickly tried to upsell me on a panel replacement, one wanted to upgrade the service from 200A to 400A. The smaller companies made it clear that was unnecessary and I was being upsold, but only 2 actually listened to what I wanted done and were planning on being the ones to actually do the work themselves. The company has great reviews but their prices are over inflated and if you need recess lights they don't provide them but charge 275 dollars per light installation...........unless you only need 1 or 2 lights that's ridiculous, most people need more than that...moving on. GB Tech moved an outlet in my attic for a new attic fan, to be installed at a later date. It is attic work and is a pain in the rear! Guivi was punctual and easy going and got right to work when he arrived. He discovered the switch for the attic fan was broken and replaced it with a switch I already had. When he was finished he brought in a battery powered vacuum to clean up the insulation that fell from the attic access door. Work was done quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable cost. I really wanted to like GB. He's a nice guy and was very responsive for a little bit. He showed up on time and was very open to my ideas. He informed me about how to view the project more practically, which I appreciated. However, once the job was over and I shared concerns he never responded. My painting contractor was shocked how he left the holes in my ceiling and had nothing nice to say about his work. I wasn't home when he left so once he got his money that was all she wrote.
