Absolutely amazing! I got my nails fixed her after I went to another salon and they butchered my nails. Even blessed my nails and made them perfect. He communicates well and has serious artistic vision that he will tell you what will and will not look good. I was amazed at how clean they are and that he did not reuse tools. He did not let his assistant work on nails other than peeping the client or removing polish (very professional!) he was extremely kind and even gave me a bit of a discount. I will definitely be going back here and I highly recommend that other people try this salon out, you will not be disappointed! Also they will fix any broken nails for free within the first 10 days after getting them done. Ever since I moved back into the area a few months ago, I have been going to DDs to get either my lashes, or gel manicure. This place is huge, very clean, and the staff is unbelievably courteous and accommodating. The music is relaxing - total spa vibes- && the polish selections are on point(options for everyone!) The have a great rewards point system so if you visit 10 times you get $10 off. This place is my little gem so I was hesitant to share but I think people are truly missing out on a great nail/spa/beauty experience. I was so comfortable the last time I was getting a manicure I almost fell asleep!! The owners go above and beyond for loyal customers, I have witnessed them staying open past closing time to tend to a client who needed a broken nail fixed on her way to a Christmas party. I want to emphasize THERE ARE NEW OWNERS HERE! i'm always looking for a good spot to get a gel pedicure because i'm not good at doing my own toes, i do my own nails just because i'm picky about shaping. I saw the reviews but heard there was new owners so I came here, and super friendly right away! they even complimented my own nail skills lol! A lot of places charge $50 for a gel pedi, like this place. But some people rush and don't give you the full service. NOT HERE. I have never been treated so well at a salon, and I actually got my money's worth here. I called and made an appointment earlier today. I came in, chose the color, the type of pedicure bath I wanted added an extra $10, I sat down, they turned the massage chair on, I was a little cold, left my jacket in the car and without asking they placed a hot towel behind my back (amazing). They gave me a mask on my legs as I was getting my toes done. I got a 5 minute massage with it, I didn't want to be here crazy long so it was perfect! I left here with beautiful toe nails, super soft legs and feet! Cindy was awesome, as well as the other two people, I think they were the new owners but they were all super nice. Overall, it was exceptional service, clean, and relaxing. They give the guest in front of them proper attention, and made me super comfortable. Im not one to write reviews, but I'm simply appalled. I have been going here for about a year and have mostly been satisfied. It's clean and they have been friendly and accommodating. I typically go for a pedicure and waxing. The last time I went, the person who did my pedicure was new to me and it took an unreasonable amount of time. I was a little annoyed, but was mindful that I was a walk-in and maybe the person was training, and I didn't express that I had a time constraint. I decided to give it another go and made an appt this time around. I took my niece for a mani/pedi and I got a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. Everything went well, we paid and I tipped the woman who serviced my niece and I gave the person who did my pedicure and checked me out a generous tip for the pedicure and to tip out the person who did my waxing. I left and went into another business in the plaza for about a half an hour and I was completely taken aback when I went to my car,and as I was buckling my niece into her car seat, an employee from the salon appeared at my car accusing me of not tipping the woman( owner) who waxed my eyebrows. I was so taken aback by this aggressive and rude act. I have always been appreciative and have reflected this in my tipping but after this, I will never go back to this establishment! read more

Worst gel fill I ever had. The older nail tech was about to do the fourth layer of gel before I pulled my hands back and told her to shape down and not keep adding. She left high bumps, deep pits and ledges in all those tons of gel no matter how much I disapproved. I told her where to take the tons of gel down. She didn't properly prep the new growth to receive gel and that lifted by the fourth day. The new gel and old gel where obvious even though it was my usual constant product. The young tech to her left kept taking about me in their native tongue and I called her out. She then told me that I had fat nails in English. Fat nails? Didn't realize nails were made of adipose. Still gave the old tech a $20 tip even though I was never more upset leaving a salon because it took her 3 hours to do the fill. Let's not talk about how shabby and ghetto the interior of the salon looked. I will NEVER go there again! One star given because no stars is not an option. read more

Based on the poor reviews, I was hesitant to try this place but the staff is really really nice..... and the place is clean. For every 10 minutes you wait you get a dollar off. my powder manicure was amazing and they didn't over drill my nails. I'm very pleased and I will be coming back here normally. read more

Not happy with the regular $20 dollar pedicure.... ( I get a pedicure every two weeks so very little needs too be done) the PEDI Was so very disappointing. One of the biggest problems I have with this dive is that they DO NOT change the plastic tub covers, my station was gross! They also reuse the calluse paddle/ they keep the adhesive to make it look like their using a new one. I was out of my chair and done with-in 15 mins. The massage was 30 seconds each leg, I know this because I checked my watch. I expect a little, more for 20 bucks. This is a service I am paying for, not a favor. I hate to write a bad review especially for a "new business" but I was so bothered by my experience today that I felt it necessary to warn others. So much so that I had to add this business as it was not yet on yelp. Although I did see someone else did review this location on another business location page with same name. Not sure if it is same owners? Having 2 young children it is very difficult to find the time to get my nails done. So when I finished work today and knew I still had an hour kid free I decided to run the 5 minutes up the road and try out this nail salon. I walked in about 5:10pm. They closed at 6pm so I figured plenty of time. I just wanted a basic pedicure and clear manicure. The women talked me into getting the $45 green tea spa pedicure which I did because of the massage. She did not cut my cuticles. The massage was a torturous soft rub no pressure applied at all that just left me cover in excessive lotion. She left my toenails long but I have small toes so they looked okay once painted. She started the manicure at 6pm ( closing time) the other women there changed into her street clothes and was cleaning up around us as the lady rushed to do my hands. She asked if I wanted square or round . Now I haven't had my nails done in 6 weeks. I went in with extremely healthy strong and long natural nails. After she cut the first hand I wanted to cry she cut my nails below the tips of my fingers. She never asked before she did if I wanted short nails. Not only did she cut so short my finger tips actually hurt half of them are uneven! She pretended to cut my cuticles and if she actually got any cuticle she would just leave it. She painted my nails before she asked me to pay and then didn't even pick up my pocketbook for me to bring me for nails to dry. It was absolutely the worst manicure. I would trust my child to do a better job. I would never ever go back and will continue to drive the 30 minutes to my normal place in Yorktown. Which is a shame since this place is so close. The only reason I am even given this place 2 stars is because when I went to pay the man tried to give me a loyalty card and I told him it wasn't necessary because I wouldn't be back. He apologized and insisted on giving me a bottle of lotion. Customer service goes a long way in my book so I did appreciate the gesture but it unfortunately still doesn't change what already happened. My sister went in on July 7th to get her nails done and they did a very terrible job. The nails were so bad she had to go back less then 24 hours later to get them fixed and they still were not done properly. The nails are chipping and peeling and the service is not worth the price. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. When asked for a refund they laughed at us and told us they can't do that.
