My regular dentist couldn't get me in and I had lost a huge filling in a front tooth that needed imediate attention. I was able to get an appointment for a few hours later in the day. I expected a hole in the wall, dingy kind of place. What I found was a welcoming light, airy and modern office. The staff was friendly and answered my millions of questions very patiently. The dentist did great work with minimal pain. He even took the time to try and calm me down since I am deadly afraid of dentist and any kind of dental work. I have always had to psych myself up before going to the dentist. Like... days ahead of time. If you've ever had tooth pain, you know how bad it is... and my thought is always that it's gonna hurt WORSE when someone is poking you, right at the site of that pain. My anxiety was super high, but I knew I had to get this taken care of. My tooth was obviously infected; the gum was horribly swollen, and I was starting to look like a chipmunk. I sucked it up and went yesterday. Sunday, yes... they're open! They do walk-ins only on the weekends, so I showed up just as they were opening the doors. First greeting, super friendly. The girl at the desk was also friendly, and professional. She verified all my information, and within 5-10 minutes I was called back. Another girl took my temperature before heading back to do the x-rays, which was less scary than I remember dental x-rays being in the past. I was escorted back to a large, beautiful room to wait for the dentist. I had waited a lot longer than I should have to come, and was embarrassed to admit that. Dr. Stratman and his assistant came in, listened to the issues of why I was there, and after admitting my embarrassment he assured me that just about everyone who walks in that door admits the same thing. Instantly eased my mind! After a quick look in my mouth, he informed me that extractions were necessary, and he could do it today, if I'd like. He said the woman at the front desk would print out the total expense, and I could decide if I wanted to (or could) take care of it now. She came back and talked me through it, and I decided since I was already there, I might as well. Dr. Stratman's assistant came back in and was preparing everything. When he came back in, he wanted to make sure he answered all my questions, and that I was at ease before we started. He numbed both sides of my mouth, and continued to ask if I felt okay, and apologized if I made a small noise of pain from the needle. (He assured me the needle before the actual procedure was the worst part, and he was right.) He asked about my numbness level, and did a couple more shots just to be sure I wouldn't be in pain. During the procedure, I felt no pain. Just a little pressure when he was working with the tooth. Both him and his assistant were great at making sure I was okay during it all. The entire process of numbing and procedure probably took less than 30 minutes. His assistant stayed in the room with me and explained at-home care, and the prescriptions I would get. I apologize that I didn't get anyone's names except for the dentist, but y'all... EVERYONE I came into contact here was friendly and professional. I'm sitting here less than 24 hours later, and the only pain I'm having is from that infected gum, which the antibiotics should clear up in a few days. Wrapup: the office is beautiful, staff is friendly and professional, my pain was managed ahead of time phenomenally, everything was explained until I was comfortable... this will forever be my dental home! read more

I'm new to the area, currently without dental insurance, and was really trepidatious about some emergency dental work I needed done. Y'all, this office didn't just help me. They took CARE of me. They worked with me on price (thanks to the beer virus killin our income). They didn't make me wait a week but got me in the same day I contacted them. They were straightforward but didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't want it couldn't do. They went over and above to make me feel comfortable, the ENTIRE staff was friendly and professional, and their office was upscale but not pretentious. The icing on the cake for me was the way they closed the circle of service. During my procedure, I started fretting over the inevitable cost of my pain medication. As if they intuited my thoughts, the front office presented me with a printed RX coupon that reduced the rate of my prescription to an incredibly affordable cost. I was floored when Walgreens told me how much I'd saved (more than Good RX even). Don't even waste time checking out a dozen different providers. Just call Circle City. Just do it. read more

Terrible customer service! Peyton hung up on us instead of understanding the urgency for replacement of TWO broken temporary teeth within a week! While understanding incidents can happen, missing front teeth is a big deal if you want to work. The first time it was 2 days after, the 2nd time it was 5 days so both broke within a week and Peyton apparently can't understand anyone being upset, rather, she just hangs up on them. I can't imagine how they can continue to do business when they can't stand behind their products. We will see how the healing goes and just hope that at least the dentist (whom we could never talk to..thank you Peyton) knows what she is doing. Would NOT recommend this place unless you don't mind going without your front teeth for a while read more

I had a full mouth extraction, and everything went perfect and was seamless! That was about six months ago! Overall five stars plus! Everybody was very nice and the office is very clean and extremely clean! And they have decades of experience here I can tell just by how intelligent they are about dentistry! This will be based off of my personal experience with dentist. My dad was always my dentist and after he passed away I found a new dentist, Circle city dental. I need to do this anyways because I don't live near my dad's old practice. The pros of Circle city dental are that they took me without an appointment. I just walked in. This might just be during Covid, I don't know if this is normal practice. They were kind to me and the place had protocols in place for Covid. One con I did not like was the dentist kept letting me know how bad my gums were. Usually I take care of flossing but with my dad passing recently I was struggling to take care of myself like I usually do. I don't mind that it got mentioned and I apologized that it got bad, but what bothered me is she mentioned it a couple times after that and it made me sad a little because it reminded me of why they were bad... which was my dads death. Long story, sorry. But try this place for yourself! It really is a good place, I just didn't like how the dentist kept saying that multiple times to me. Other than that - great place! read more

One of the first places I noticed when I moved to Indy but I decided against making this office my 1st choice. I've had some bad experiences with dentists in the past so I make it a rule not to go anywhere a colleague or friend hasn't recommended but everyone I met either didn't have a dentist or went in the suburbs. All the online reviews for Circle City were stellar but they were all emergency related dental service incidents. Finally decided to give them a try...pleasantly satisfied. All the staff is excellent from front desk to hygienists to dentists. While they may be known for their emergency care, you won't regret making them your regular dentist. Anyhow, On my last appt, I had a family emergency and had to cancel same day, they charged me $75 for cancelling. They have officially lost our family business. So I usually go to crappy dentist but last night my son complained of a tooth ache I went there (he's autistic and has bad anxiety) so I was very apprehensive. I explained it and the tech was super amazing!!!! So gentle and kind to my son . The dentist was ok... it seems as if we made him nervous he fumbled over his words excessively and I had to step in to finish his sentences. I felt embarrassed by that. But it was a pleasure overall. When my dental insurance changed, I had to find a new dentist. This showed up as the closest option on my insurance and set the wheels in motion. It was super easy to get an appointment for the exam, but we had to plan a little further out for a cleaning. The staff is small, but efficient. They have a beautiful facility - TVs on the ceiling and vibrating chairs, for goodness sakes! They can do x-rays and MRIs of your teeth for more complex issues as well. I've now been here for an exam, cleaning, and fillings and it's been a good experience with each visit. I really appreciate that they printout a proposed treatment plan for you to consider, but they aren't pushing you to come back. Instead, they recommend the services, but it's up to you to decide if that's what you want or need. read more

Chipped my front tooth over the weekend. I live and work in the area, so I've been curious about the place. I called on Monday and got an appointment for a consultation on Tuesday morning. After the consult they told me they could fit me in today. I was a little surprised, but figured the sooner the better. I got there around 10am and left around noon, which really isn't bad given that I have a new tooth now. Dr. Ferreira really took pride in matching the color and shaping the new tooth to match the other incisor. I thought we were done, but she took a second look, added some more resin, trimmed it down some, and polished it up. The results are great. My fiancee said she couldn't tell the difference. I got my wisdom teeth out Monday and it was such an easy experience I had to post about it here. Making the appointment was so easy, just a quick call on Thursday and I was scheduled for Monday. I had quite a few questions that I asked over Facebook messenger and every single one was answered very carefully and kindly. I was very anxious about getting all 4 out at once, but I didn't want to do sedation. Dr. Stratman was wonderful, I had local anesthesia and felt zero pain. We had an awefull experience trying to get 4 wisdom teeth removed. I had to pay up front, but the doctor gave up after removing just one tooth. They owe me a refund of over $1000.00 and I've been waiting a month to get it. And this is after several phone calls. We won't be going back or recommending this business. read more

Very limited hours, don't try to schedule any real dental work after 3pm. Had to have a filling replaced urgently and made a 3pm appointment. All they did that day was take the old filling out, take xrays, and tell me to come back "another" day since they were going to close soon. Scheduled an appointment for the next day and when I came in the next day, still waited 30 mins even with the appointment. Dental work seems to have been done decently, will see how it holds up over time. Will definitely be looking for a different dentist with better customer service. read more

This place has the rudest women working here! I had one male dentist who was good all the women are rude and definitely not there because they enjoy what they do. This place makes you sign and obide by a 3 day cancellation policy, they book you for a cleaning six months in advance, then give you a day notice about your appointment coming up then charge you when you have plans and gave a 24 hour notice because they need a 3 day notice...WOW NEVER AGAIN! read more

I had already gone to two other dentists to get evaluated and not only were the wife and husband team of Dr Ferreira and Dr Stratman the nicest and most comforting dentists I've ever met, but the procedure cost me thousands of dollars less than the other two places were going to charge me.
