Amazing ! The last time I was at the dentist was 27 years ago. Yes that's 27 !!! Most of my teeth in the back are completely eroded and rotten. Anyway, last night was the first time I had unbearable pain. And at 1am I gave in and came here just to get a simple extraction. The staff was very friendly and professional. Dr Ansari who took care of me was fantastic. Not only did he extract the problem tooth, he gave me the idea of extracting every bad tooth in my mouth and get a game plan going to rebuild. A very painless procedure, I did op for the sedation that will cost a little extra, but totally worth it. So 8 extractions later I dare to even say it was enjoyable experience. I can not emphasize enough how attentive and friendly Dr Ansari was. a true professional. I actually look forward going back and getting more consultations and game plan going for my implants. I knew this experience might be problematic the moment we walked into the office. Another patient and her husband were already arguing with the front desk because they felt the office was only trying to make money. As for my situation, I scheduled an appointment two days in advance for Saturday at noon because I was in severe pain. When I arrived, I provided my ID and insurance card. The staff told me there would be an issue verifying my insurance and claimed they couldn't reach the insurance company. My card clearly lists a 24-hour phone number, yet they told me I would need to pay out of pocket and file the claim myself on Monday. Because I was in so much pain, I felt I had no choice but to move forward with the procedure. My appointment was at 12:00 PM, and I did not leave until around 5:00 PM. I was sedated and went straight home to sleep. The next morning when I woke up and went to take the medication they prescribed, I discovered something extremely concerning: they prescribed medications that I clearly listed on my medical forms as allergies, medications that could potentially cause a severe reaction. My daughter had picked up the prescriptions after the procedure, and we never received a physical prescription or had a chance to review what was being prescribed beforehand. I only discovered the issue when I went to take the medication the next morning. When I called the office to explain the situation, instead of taking responsibility, they questioned why the prescription had been filled and made it seem like it was somehow my fault for not verifying the medication beforehand. This is unacceptable. I was sedated after a dental procedure and was never given the opportunity to review the prescription before it was sent to the pharmacy. This was not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous. Patients trust medical professionals to review allergy information that is clearly documented in their medical forms. I took an 8 year old in for some dental work, they explained they would pull his tooth with gas and numbing meds. The tech came in and the facility was out of oxygen so his tooth was pulled with only numbing meds. The facility charged for the gas prior to notifying us they had no oxygen and refused to properly refund the $175 charge. To top it all off, his antibiotics weren't sent in with correct instructions. read more

If I could rate a 0 I would. Dr.Dewas did 2 root canals which took 3 hrs + and left my face swollen and aching. He called in antibiotics and Tylenol 3 which cannot be taken with medication I'm currently on. I told him this everytime I had been there and he just doesn't listen or don't care and still calls in whatever he wants. well my pharmacy had rejected the prescription for Tylenol 3 two different times. Both times he refused to call in anything else for pain. I told him I could take ibuprofen , but he refused to call in anything at all. So having 2 root canals done and a swollen face so bad my eye is almost shut I get nothing for pain. Not even ibuprofen, I never asked for narcotics not once and still got treated like an addict for asking for pain medication I can safely mix with other medications. This place is a joke and don't care about their patients at all. I paid 1,887.00 and can't even get an ibuprofen for pain. I came in because I didn't know if I had an infection due to a capped tooth and my lymph nodes were swollen on my neck. I arrived at almost closing time and went ahead and made an appointment for the next morning! Then the very sweet young lady that greeted me at check in told me she was going to see if maybe I could get a prescription in case since I was so worried..even though my appointment would of been first thing 8am... However she went and spoke to the Doctor and he said he wanted to go ahead and see me! I filled out paperwork which was a breeze and everyone (I truly mean everyone was so kind and friendly!!!!) which absolutely made me feel more at ease!! This Doctor and his practice went above and beyond!!!!! They had to stay after hours and work just for me and they were kind all while doing so!! Genuinely nice as can be!! I absolutely am so grateful to them and their kindness!!! Your team is wonderful!! I will recommend you all always!!! Thank you for your time and you actually genuinely care for your patients!! i got a crown put in 2 years ago by Dr.Sam & i came back because it was coming off ? I got checked by a sub dr from another clinic and she told me it was cracked!! I scheduled another visit to see Dr.Sam (the one that did the procedure) and he told me it wasnt cracked and i had decay due to "my negligence of brushed and flossing" not true because if i didnt care about my teeth i wouldnt pay so much money to get it fixed in the first place .I told him no ! I don't even know where to begin. I'm still extremely confused, PISSED & let down. I went here because I am having some severe mouth pain. Long story short, he comes in, sits down with a huge ass attitude. I keep it cute. He is supposed to be working on my mouth. He asks which tooth hurts.... multiple... my whole mouth. Why doesn't he look at them & see. You can tell where my issues are. Him: "Well, if you don't know which tooth, there is nothing that I can do." Me: I'm not really sure. They told her "nothing we can do", that her wisdom teeth were growing in, to take Advil and the antibiotics they were going to prescribe. Long wait even with an appointment. They make no effort to contact your insurance to verify coverage & make you pay cash (even though they confirmed that they take it). They will not let patients be accompanied during the exam (even those in pain, suffering from other disorders, etc who may not be able to answer questions or understand instructions). Excruciating pain, Swollen Jaw, and trouble swallowing from potential abscess, my primary dentist could not see me, and my maxilofacial surgeon and endodontist were out of town on vacation. So I Scheduled a visit for 7:00PM after I got off work in Zionsville. Had to drive 40 minutes to the location because the Shadeland location had no availability (which was fine). We get there at 7:04, nobody in the office. One receptionist at the window, 3-4 other staff sitting in the back of the office reading magazines and sitting on their phones. Lady at the window was very standoffish, could not be bothered. After giving her my license and dental insurance card as well as social security# She tells me she cant find my insurance. I have never had that issue before at any facility. After finishing the paperwork she gave me, she said she had to have some stuff faxed over (didn't say what or why) from my insurance. I waited about 40 minutes then curiosity got to me. I went on yelp to look at reviews for this place. Wish I had saved myself the trip down, but thank god for yelp because I would have been there all night. I also would have more than likely been scammed. Let me start by saying the young woman who took my blood pressure and asked what my concerns with my teeth were was incredibly kind. That was the only good experience about it. Dr. Soofi is extremely rude. He came into the room and seemed to immediately have an attitude by saying"What is it that you want?" I told him i have had dental problems for many years and have bad pain in the back tooth going into the jaw and pain in some of my other teeth as well. I was just trying to discuss what options there would be to get rid of the pain and also get a new smile. He appeared to lose his temper(raising his voice a bit) and tell me he isn't going to blindly pull a tooth without knowing what is wrong. I've waited over an hour to get back AFTER my appointment time because they are taking walk ins and not respecting appointment times for people who made an appointment BEFORE the day they were being seen. I'd give zero if I could. Was in terrible pain from a broken tooth. Arrived at my "appointment " time only to find out it's a place holder in line. 3:00p appt, not seen until 5:30p. Then computers aren't working, can't do the necessary X-rays, more waiting, finally take one of just the side using an older machine. Then computers aren't working again. More waiting. Finally evaluated at 6:20p. Root canal started at 6:45p. It takes until almost 8:45p to finish. Because the dentist kept leaving the room to attend other to patients. I was completely understanding, friendly, polite, and very patient while I was not treated as any kind of priority. Then there was trouble with the temporary crown. I'm not done until 9:45p. Almost 7 hours total. They gave me a couple of antibiotic pills and a few prescription strength Tylenol to hold me until the prescription went in. THEY NEVER PUT IT IN!!!! Next morning, terrible pain. I call to find out the doctor FORGOT. So I ask for them to please call it in. Hours pass, still nothing. Call again, I'm told the Dr is in surgery but they'll get him the message. Hours pass, still nothing. Call again. Same answer. This repeats 5 more times. Now at 7:00p they call and say the scripts were called in. 24 hours, and 6 phone calls later. Call the pharmacy and guess what. NOTHING. I feel like they are punishing me. I paid $570 to still be miserable. Finally they call in the antibiotics to THE WRONG PHARMACY. And only have prescription strength ibuprofen. Never felt so less than in my life. read more

Long wait, but they make it clear when I call that my time slot is a check in time not an appointment time. They are technically an "emergency walk in" dentist so I understand. The dentist I had was extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable. I felt very well taken care of. I read a few of the other reviews and I'm thankful that my experience was good. Unable to sleep I continued to suffer until I looked up an emergency dentist and found this place. I think it was 3:00 am that I made my appointment for 8:00 am. I made sure I was there at 7:30 and I was the first one in there. I expressed to the dentist and his aide that I was extremely afraid of a needle and for me the dentist and his employees were accommodating. His aide Kenzie calmed me by telling me to close my eyes try to relax. The dentist was just as comforting with a needle in my mouth telling me to breathe and it's almost done. When in reality he probably should have just told me to shut up this is a dentist appointment not a massage appointment. And yes it was expensive, but what do you expect for emergency dentistry? I made an appointment for hours later in the day so I wouldn't have to wait, they even texted me to inform me that they were running 20 min behind schedule. I thought that was very professional and legit only to find out when I got there that there were 8 people waiting in line in front of me and a dude sitting in the lobby said he'd been there for 2 hours and 45 min waiting. What's the point of the online sign up or the texting updates if your actually 3 hours behind schedule? Went to the north side clinic, and was told by thier dentist that he "did not feel comfortable" doing a simple extraction. Sent me to thier Southside clinic. Took two days before they could get me an appointment. Then when I got there for that appointment they said it was going to be a three hour wait. Then they suddenly didn't take my insurance. Actually claimed it would be cheaper to put me in as a cash payment. Then claimed they didn't have any of my records from the other office and would have to do the whole intake and xrays again.​ This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist and will never come back. I normally don't write reviews but feel like it is much needed. I have spent the last almost 4 months trying to go from my temporary filling to a permanent one. The office manager, Stacy, has said multiple times that she has submitted to both of my insurances. She has said multiple times that she would call me or office staff said they would leave her a message to call me back. I have only received one call out of these almost 4 months and I have tried to contact her at least once to twice a week. I have went into the office and was told she was unavailable and would "reach out to me" the next business day. I keep receiving a bill in the mail that I will not pay until I know it has actually been submitted to both of my insurances. The office staff I speak to is nice, but it does not make up for this terrible experience. read more

A friend was kind enough to drive me an hour away from home to go to this dentist because all the dentists in our area close early. Not including drive time, it was a 4 hour ordeal. This was the worst dental experience of my life (I am 42). I had 3 infected teeth that needed extracted (I didn't know there was more than one until after X-rays). The dentist (Dr. Dawas) asked me which one I wanted pulled and tested each one by pushing them. Due to cost, which even for an immediate dentist was unusually high, I chose the worst one (I had taken my max amount for a day out of the atm that my bank allows me to take, thinking that would be more than enough to cover whatever needed to be done) and he said with antibiotics, the rest of the infection should clear up. When he started drilling after numbing, I realized I wasn't numb, it was extreme, torture-level pain...I screamed out "it's not pressure! I feel extreme pain!" His response was "Nothing I can do about it ma'am, you have an infected tooth" (he couldn't have shot me up again?). This experience and the pain level was nightmare material and I have a high tolerance for pain, heck, I had been dealing with it for over 2 weeks! We leave, I have 5 prescriptions come through text on my phone, I was glad, because at this point I am bleeding profusely (my first gauze lasted 10 minutes tops before I was bleeding on my face), crying, and in excruciating pain. My friend goes in to the pharmacy, 2 prescriptions were sent. She calls them, they say they never sent 5, only 2, then eventually changed it to "the doctor made a mistake". My friend tells them I told her I was yelling out in the surgery room, kicking my leg, shaking, and crying, I really need those prescriptions and their story sounds sketchy. They proceed to tell her I was completely fine and none of that happened. When she told me they said that, it spoke volumes to me, they are used to bad reviews and have been coached on what to say...and sure enough, I come here, and they have horrible reviews and ratings. I never complain on businesses because I am a small business owner myself, but this experience was horrible and I want to urge others to find another emergency place if you have an infected tooth, we have many throughout Central Indiana, I don't want anyone else to go through what I did tonight. When my friend told the woman on the phone that we would be leaving a negative review, she received laughter as a response, so apparently, they could care less, and that's fine too! Now that I see they have cameras in the exam rooms from another review, better check your cameras to see my behavior before you go lying to others on me. I am in visible pain, clinching my fist, tapping my fist, kicking my right leg, etc. The procedure could've been stopped a moment and me given another shot. Why was I upset about the prescription mishap? Because 2 that were sent by "mistake", were a pain pill and Ibuprofen 800 mg. I could've really used those! Instead, I go home with amoxicillin (which I need too, of course) and Tylenol 3. Seriously? Stay far away from this place! Also, disgusting bathrooms, high-priced, long wait, and they seem way more concerned about volume than patients. BEWARE!!!! Two weeks ago i went to the the 24 hour Dental Care location in greenwood on a Thursday evening because I has an issue with a tooth that wouldn't allow me to tolerate drinking water or eating. I had an appointment scheduled at a "regular" dentist but not until the following Tuesday (5 days away). I was greeted by a very nice receptionist who had me write down personal and insurance information on a sheet instead of say it out loud (there were several people in the waiting room). She treated me with respect and kept me up to date on the wait time. I think I waited about 30 minutes, but they "weren't very busy" according to the dental assistant. I had xrays done by the team and Dr. Issa came in to talk to me about the problem. He stated that I had two cavities and infection around the nerve root which means i needed a double root canal and ultimately a crown. We could do the root canal today with either temporary filling or crown or he could extract the tooth. I have other medical problems and forgot to take a pre-medication, so he gave me the proper dose of medication. He went to see another patient while he gave the medication time to be absorbed properly before starting any procedure. I met with the billing specialist who went over my options in an appropriate manner. I was given the three different options and made a small payment to cover the amount not covered by my dental insurance. Dr. Issa did the root canal and before I left the office my pain was resolved. I stopped at the pharmacy to get the pain medication and the antibiotics he prescribed on the way home. The following day i had some soreness of my mouth from manipulation of the procedure but it was not painful in any way. From that point on my two teeth were not painful. The following Tuesday I followed up with my regular dentist who said the workmanship of the two root canals was excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about 24 hour dental care, the support staff and Dr. Issa. The only complaint I have, and it really isn't a complaint, is Dr. Issa did not explain what antibiotics or pain meds he was prescribing and how to use them. Not a big deal because I read the bottle but a quick 30 seconds would be helpful. I see several negative reviews of the facility but most are written by people with less than 5 reviews, most of which are negative. Also if you are respectful to the staff they will be respectful to you too. I hope I don't have to return to 24 hour dental care, but I will go back if needed. read more
