Josh got back to me as soon as I left him the first voicemail. He had me send a few photos of my kitchen and the measurements, we talked through it, he quickly sent me an estimate and they started within a couple of days. The price was very fair. They are true perfectionists (like me) and discussed every little detail of the project with me before starting. They worked hard for 4 and half straight days (and over the holidays). Juan did most of the work. He's a master craftsman, a true artisan. They got the job done quickly and exactly as we discussed. The finished product is gorgeous! That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. The team is nothing but helpful, and professional. They are community oriented and are always there to help when you have an electrical need. I thought about doing the kitchen floor myself (you know... gluing rectangles, no problem), but I am so happy I did not. Our house is a wonky franken-house and the original part built in 1934. He takes extra care in prepping / levelling the floor for the tile and takes no shortcuts. I know this is a literal foundation to a successful deployment. They started and finished the job within the time frame specified and stayed within cost. Adam laid out tiles on the floor to confirm I liked the spacing. He helped with advice on grout aesthetics and tile selection. Porcelain vs ceramic, where to look at and buy tile, etc. They finished in weeks what would have taken me months of night/weekends, not including the blood, tears, and (I assume) divorce. :) I am most impressed with the tile transitions and cuts around walls. Very precise. I told them I was OCD about the bathroom penny tile spacing, but they deployed it perfect. They take the doors off and will cut them shorter if necessary after the tile is in place. They do not typically remove or re-hookup appliances, vanities, toilets, etc. They are several months out, so don't expect to be scheduled in a couple weeks, but you might get lucky if someone cancels. He made sure I procured the tile before he scheduled the date, because shipping these days can be an issue for tile companies (supply-chain). He has tiled everything I need at this house. I can now advertise his services without impacting my own scheduling needs, so enjoy. :)

From the first conversation through material ordering, scheduling and install, Adam and his team kept me informed about the process and the next steps. Tile is not something that you want to DIY, even if you have other building trade skills. It takes a professional to do it right. Adam is careful and will not schedule the tile install until the site is 100% ready. I appreciate that. Adam will also take the time to stop by prior to install and check on the site and discuss details with you. From the first day of install, I could tell that Adam had worked out the math and had a plan for the layout. Our tile was relatively simple, subway tile, but Adam had worked out the layout both horizontal and vertical, taking into account the corners, plumbing and how the tile ends at the reveals. We can't believe this is our house! We've had a couple of friends hire him now to do their projects! Travis walked into our patched-together 50 year old house and understood our vision for opening up the floor plan and letting more light in. He worked within our budget to draw up a quote that met our vision, while also recommending items that could easily be isolated and saved for a later project date without having to re-do any of this initial work (like refacing the fireplace, re-doing the back patio). He was patient and helpful through the architect and permitting phase and had great recommendations for local cabinet, tile and plumbing stores that allowed us to get great quality finishes within our budget. Every sub-contractor that he brought in for specialized pieces like our master shower tile, shower glass, flooring and insulation were friendly and did absolutely top of the line work. He is also very clever at figuring out solutions to curveballs that our house threw and could take our crazy Pinterest pictures and piece them together to build custom solutions like the bench in the master shower. Overall our project included a major overhaul and upgrade to our electrical panel / electrical service to the street, major plumbing upgrades, new windows, a master bathroom addition and a complete interior paint/flooring refresh and remodel including a complete kitchen remodel (with removing load bearing walls to create an open concept) and hall bath remodel. Our house of 16 years is now a sturdy, safe home we can spend the next 50 years in - Travis didn't cut any corners and understood that this needs to be our dream home that will last "generations" as he put it. He's an honest guy with old fashioned values and you just won't find a better team to take on your project.
