Really disappointing experience here, especially considering the price point and atmosphere the restaurant presents itself with. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt disorganized and unwelcoming. There was no signage or direction about where to check in, and multiple staff members ignored us while talking amongst themselves until we finally approached someone directly. We were then told -- somewhat dismissively -- that we were in the lounge and needed to check with the restaurant host instead. When we went to the host stand, we were told the restaurant was fully booked for hours, but that we could still eat in the lounge area with open seating. The interaction from the hosts came across condescending rather than hospitable or accommodating. Back in the lounge, many of the tables still hadn't been bussed and several still had checks sitting on them. Since we were only a party of two, we ended up taking a smaller table that at least appeared cleaned off, although it still had the previous bill sitting there. After sitting down, we were ignored for quite a while before anyone finally acknowledged us. Unfortunately, the food experience didn't improve things. I ordered the portobello mushroom burger with a gluten-free bun, mango habanero wings, and two glasses of the house red. Nobody informed me they were out of gluten-free buns until the burger arrived already lettuce wrapped. If that had been communicated beforehand, I would have ordered something else entirely instead of paying full price for what felt like a substitute version of the dish. The burger itself was underwhelming -- mostly greasy onions, mayo, unripe green tomatoes, and the mushroom wrapped in lettuce. I ended up just eating the portobello itself and leaving the rest. Since the fries are apparently gluten battered, the server recommended the side salad instead. I specifically requested no cheese due to dietary restrictions, but the salad still came out covered in cheese and had to be remade. The replacement salad was extremely bland and appeared to have little or no dressing, so I barely touched it either. The wings were the final frustration. They didn't arrive until over an hour after ordering -- long after the rest of the food had already been served. Visually, the sauce looked less like mango habanero and more like melted cheese poured over the wings, which honestly made them pretty unappetizing by the time they finally arrived. I understand restaurants get busy, especially on weekends, but basic communication, attentiveness, and hospitality matter -- especially when guests are paying premium prices. Between the confusing entrance experience, dismissive service, ignored dietary requests, poor food execution, and excessive wait times, this ended up being a frustrating and surprisingly unpleasant experience overall. read more

We made reservations for Christmas Day buffet. So glad we did! What a way to spend a holiday. Prime rib was tender and juicy, pork loin was tender and so flavorful, salmon with hollandaise sauce was on point. Then there was ham & turkey. The salads were incredible. The usual sides included stuffing, sweet potatoes & mashed potatoes but then they also had the creamiest Mac & cheese and a mushroom risotto. Of course they had fresh fruit, roasted vegetables plus green beans. Then, topping off the menu was the dessert table. From cheesecakes, cookies, cobblers, cakes and so much more plus sauces, chocolates, caramel sauces and whip cream to top off your choices. All of this with excellent service and ambiance for under $30 per person. Way to do everything right de Fuego! Food and service were horrible! The steaks were not cooked as we asked. All the sides and Tapas were so heavily garlicky that's all we tasted. Our server was awful. I had to ask the hosts and other servers multiple times to get our server so we could order more cocktails and bottles of wine. They also brought our sides out with no plates or silverware. I had to flag down someone to ask for them. Unacceptable!! And the fact that they bring out entrees one by one with a group table is ridiculous. Most people want there food at the same time as others in their party. Was there only one Chef working?..... **If restaurants are so grossly understaffed due to Covid or whatever excuses they give then do not fill the restaurant! I had drinks/dinner here several weeks ago and I just had the time to write this review. The food was delicious and the service was a little slow, but I get it. They were slammed. My only issue is the manager on duty. Specifically one of then. I think her name was Andrea? She was condescending to her staff, rude, I heard her cuss at her staff when one of her staff member's was telling her something and it made the whole experience awkward and weird to me. If there's one thing I've learned over the last two decades I've spent working on residential home remodels, where there is rat poop, there are rats. I was going to glance over the lipstick on my "clean" glass, and the dirty silverware that was preset on our table upon our arrival, but the rodent droppings could not go ignored.
