Visited in July 2025 with the family. The caldo de pescado and fried cheese were good. However the "fresh" fried whole fish (chillo) was tasteless and cold. My family has been visiting the restaurant for years and we have we always enjoyed it. Extremely disappointed at the restaurant and the food. We recently found out it has been sold to a new owner. We couldn't eat the fish and had to order more "fish caldo" to be able to finish the mofongo. Overpriced, understaffed and not worth it. read more

Received a suggestion to try this place from transplant that has been here 30 years. We I asked him where he would have to take a visitor, his eyes lit up when he talked about this restaurant. It was very off of our beaten path but was well worth the effort. The menu is big and has so many fresh seafood options. It is incredible. The service is very friendly but also kind of upscale. I ordered the onion soup and lobster stuffed red snapper with creole sauce. My friends both ordered the whole fried Red Snapper. The pictures do not do the food justice. We have eaten so well while we are here, I am sad to go home. You can not get this quality of seafood on the mainland. Our dishes we well presented and delicious. Mandatory stop each time i come to the island. The best seafood without the usual seafood restaurant prices where the food is solely based on a view to the sea. As always, the service was spectacular, the seafood fresh, and the price for four clients; which included appetizers, main courses, drinks, and dessert was very reasonable. I was looking for a seafood place to eat and finally able to get a table (Sunday was packed). I ordered whole red snapper with garlic sauce and the crab rice. There was a lot of people and I do understand that kitchen will be super busy. I was so hungry and it's about 30 minutes wait to for the food to arrived. It's fine with me... No problem waiting, The rice is good! The red snapper was a bit over cooked ( makes it hard and can't taste the meat). It will be a lot better experienced if the fish is a little bit not burned. Also, I ordered with Garlic sauce on the snapper but there is no suace. The price is good and probably will come back if I don't see any other restaurant that offer fresh fish while I am here in the beautiful island of Ponce Puerto Rico. read more

The food was spectacular! The only con was that the wait is INSANELY LONG, but the food was INSANELY good. I got red snapper with garlic sauce, we also got the salmon with creole sauce, and the rice soup with chicken. The "chicken rice soup" was my favorite and it was a good portion. El sopa de pollo was one of the best dishes I had in the area. The waiters and waitresses were very kind. For dessert we got the tres leches and cheesecake. The food and service were spectacular. Their homemade sangria was very good and their portions were very generous. Highly recommend the mahi-mahi with capers and salmon al ajillo. The service was very prompt and attentive, we will undoubtedly return! The place was clean and cool, much appreciated and relief from the hot weather. I can't say enough about our server, Jeyle or might have been Jeyla, she was super friendly and interesting to talk with. She helped us make choices for items from the menu by being able to explain the food to us in English. The food was great, one of the best meals we had while we were on the island for 7 days. We will definitely come back here on our next trip. I hope the management see what a great employee they have. read more

I want to star off by saying that this restaurant provides some quality food. Its really good and for that alone it could get 4 stars. Problem is with the waiters. They are not fully organized. When we got here, we where not greeted after 1 or 2 mins. They showed us our seated areas, and then that waitress forgot about us. We where attended by another waitress and another waitress and so on. We got some water complementary by the restaurant and then we got our foods. Really beautiful food. It taste great! Parking lot is quite big, there is a lot of space, but the place is always full, not the parking lot, i mean the actual restaurant is packed and very loud. The bathrooms are a very elegant but! There is some mold developing in the corners and that needs to be taken care of. The toilets are not fully secured, yes they can be moved. The toilet paper is not where is suppose to be. The urinals are not clean and they have very low pressure for the water. It's an ok place. A little overpriced, and it needs some organizing before i could give it a 4 or maybe 5 stars. read more

On my vacation and visiting Ponce for the first time. This place was perfect experience for authentic Ponce PR cuisine and atmosphere. The prices are good and my red snapper stuffed with lobster was amazing with plantain side dish. Been in PR over a week and best meal I've had. The staff was friendly and accommodating to this gringo :) and I was the only non native in sight. It's a nice place so dress up a bit and don't show up in flip flops and tank top. They also had live music the Friday night I was there. I thought it was the radio until the couple in front of me left. That's how good this gentleman on a keyboard sounded. I was even able to take group pictures of the family celebrating a birthday. The restaurant was very joyous that night. read more

We ordered a "Caldo Gallego" with mofongo balls which was not your traditional Spanish stew but had great taste. There was a nice mix of buttery, garlic and wine sauce, thus dipping the yuca fries made them even tastier. De Jesús I've been looking for an equal in Cincinnati, OH ever since eating here while in PR for business middle of June. Ordered the whole Red Snapper with plantains and it was the most delicious thing I've eaten in a long time. The fish was served slightly fried or grilled and lightly seasoned. Skin so flavorful and the fish flesh itself still moist and not overcooked. I cannot wait to get back here. Everything was amazing! My husband is not easily impressed, but, De Jesus won him over. We started with the octopus salad, it was very tender, not at all chewy and had great flavor. Next, we had a chicken, crab and lobster empanadilla, the chicken was my favorite. For an entree, I had the lobster stuffed red snapper, it was absolutely delicious! I had it with the tostones (fried plantains) which were also very good. My husband had the Churassco (side steak) and French fries, they were both awesome! The steak was so tender and was cooked perfectly. We also had sides of garlic yuca and crab rice. If you love garlic, you must try the garlic yuca, so good! The crab rice was also very good.
