Our kitchen was gutted, with half a kitchen full of partly done cabinets, half of a floor, half of a paint job and we were a month past our timeline and way over budget. Enter Paul. Paul assessed the situation, gave us an extremely reasonable price to fix the cabinets and set to work right away. Although he does custom work, we needed more pieces of cabinetry for our kitchen, so Paul opened an account at the place we had gotten our cabinets originally and got all the necessary pieces to finish it out. I was impressed with his professionalism in dealing with the cabinet company for me, the fact that his licensing and paperwork were so organized that he was able to get the account set up with quick notice, and the fact that he just made it happen. In less than a week. The work turned out amazing. Paul also worked with the tile setter we had subcontracted to solve a tile issue we were having (the lot on the tiles to finish out the floor was a sliver too big to lay next to the old tiles, yet too small to get an even cut). So there was another problem Paul solved, besides just the cabinetry. Then, he hooked us up with a granite fabricator and voila, beautiful counters. Thanks again, Paul. Oh, and if we call he will send someone to fix the crown moulding and baseboards that the other guy did not. So, after being taking advantage of by two other "contractors" who did not do their job but got paid for calling subpar subcontractors, Paul comes to do our cabinets, charges a very reasonable price, and ends up doing the work that a full on contractor is supposed to do: coordinating the job so that all goes smoothly, problem solving as things come up, working with the subs, and making things easier for us as the homeowner. Did I mention the cabinets are beautiful?!!!! I feel like we went from the Money Pit, to being on an episode of "Holmes makes it Right". I was seriously worried by the level of your work that your prices would be out of our budget, but you were beyond reasonable. Oh, the money we would have saved to have done it right and gone with you in the beginning. Everything completed on time and right on budget. Thanks, Paul! Your cabinets make us smile. More than five stars!…read more Succinctly, we met with three or four companies to get an estimate all of whom were pleasant but, somehow, did not seem as though they were listening to what we wanted. It was different with Ammar of Kitchen Cabinet Express, Inc. After a brief introduction and a short discussion of our intentions, he got right to the point, walking with my wife, measuring and making notes and asking questions. What resulted was a reasonable estimate for the work to be done and a plan and drawings that exactly reflected our wishes. The deadline for completion was originally set for the middle of March 2026 but was completed two weeks early. Members of Ammar's team and contractors were professional, conscientious, and hard working. They showed up on time, accomplished what was scheduled for each day. As work progressed, we desired some minor changes which Ammar and his team were very flexible and responsive in accomplishing professionally and quickly. At every point - daily work and especially at the conclusion - the site was cleaned up immaculately and all detritus was hauled away instantly. Also, a great deal of care was taken to mask, cover, and protect the house, furniture, and existing fixtures from the dust and soiling that was occasioned by the remodeling work! This review is being written a month after completion as we wanted to take our time to let the "newness" wear off and appraise the overall experience.
