Worst salon ever. The required "consultation" is a joke. Everything I told them was ignored. My hair was totally destroyed - it is broken, damaged, literally falling out. I requested to NOT be under the heated dryer with bleach foils in and they insisted that this HAD to be done and then were surprised when IMMEDIATELY after, my hair was already damaged and breaking. She left me under the dryer for 25 minutes! The haircut was initially a "dry cut" that she said she was going to shape after color was put in but she never did. I also had requested root cover up and she didn't even do it - she claimed she used toner to cover them - so now I just have glistening grey hair. Total disaster AND they had the nerve to charge $500! Do NOT go here if you are used to QUALITY care for your hair. read more

Not bad, but I'm not planning to go back for massage: I booked a 80min massage and only got like 68 min of massage. I know 12 min is not much but it feels bad when you're paying for the full service. The massage was average not bad but not fantastic. Seems to me that the therapist was tired... and in a hurry. The massage table is good, has arm rest when you are facing down and I really enjoyed that. Definitely recommend. We came here to get our hair and makeup done for a wedding and the hair looked pretty good. The makeup also looked good -- we had 2 different make up people...one was VERY SLOW and the other did it quickly. I wish the slow person had 1 person instead of 2. I have very thin and delicate hair so finding a stylish is very hard for me since they can never handle my hair right, so I took a risk and booked an appointment here; mostly because when I googled for a hair spa it had over 70+ 5 star rating. So I was very impressed and after getting my hair cut I can see why. The guy was amazing with my hair!! Besides my hair being VERY thin (especially in the crown area) it was also very damage with split ends. Been here 4 times already. Twice for a prenatal massage and twice to get my hair done. Each time was a very enjoyable experience. I had the same massage lady both times and she was super sweet. So nice to talk to and did a good job at working out some knots in my back. My last visit was to get my hair done. I had Rita (Margarita) as my stylist. She was AMAZING! I told her to just chop it off, but she was very good at making absolutely sure that that's what I wanted before cutting. I had such a nice and easy time talking with her which says a lot being that I'm very introverted and socially awkward. I'm usually the person that just sits in awkward silence while I get my hair done, but not with Rita. When it was all over, I loved my new hair style. When I travel I like having a nice set of paws and the girls at de Sanchez did a phenomenal job! I adored the cheetah print theme that was visible everywhere in the salon. The receptionist greeted us and made us feel more than welcomed within seconds of walking through the door. The girls that helped my aunt and I were simply amazing; they went above and beyond our expectations. They were courteous and polite throughout every aspect of our manicures. The lotions that they used made my skin feel soft and supple and she also recommended a product to use on my dry cuticles and proper usage of the product. They also featured a wide variety of OPI and Zoya (I think) polishes and picking a color was almost impossible. The girls also had pretty good social skills and were able to make the usual "small talk" not awkward but comfortable and seemed natural. The cleanliness of this salon was a perfect 10/10! The girl that was doing my nails cleaned her station just before I was seated, mid way through (minor wiping away flecks and particles that were on the station), and a thorough cleaning and sanitization as soon as we were through. The young man that was sweeping also did a thorough sweep through of the whole nail salon, hair salon area, and the hallways. I went to get a hydrotherapy treatment for the first time and asked if there was anything that I needed to know, the staff said just to bring a swimsuit. I ended up with horrible bruising and now have to go get a new dress for an even that I have tonight. If I had been told about the bruising, I would have never scheduled it. I called and spoke to Eric who asked if I was tall and that it never happens, well it happened to me! Also, if height matters, shouldn't they ask when booking the appointment? Maybe I've been spoiled with Woodhouse spa which is where I've been going for within the last few years but De Sanchez used to be the best spot I have visited. As of recently, the care and concern is just not there. My therapist was supposed to do a relaxation massage And the massage was so fast pace it felt like the quicker she massaged me the quicker time would pass. She also seemed frustrated with the fact that I had trouble relaxing because of this. I truly never felt like there was any care for me from either the therapist or the people working at the front desk. At no point ever was a beverage ever offered and the relaxation room was only comfortable for three people at the most. The steam room was broken and the changing area was so small and cramped that it felt uncomfortable if there were two people in there at the same time. The valley desperately needs a Woodhouse, as I've seen their customer service and the level of comfort is above anything here. read more

Analisa is my regular stylist, and while she may have her own crazy hairdo and colors (think of a Hispanic Katy Perry), she always cuts mine in the simple, professional style I prefer. I have naturally wavy, thick thick thick hair and she is excellent at thinning and blending my layers so that it looks like it's all one length but is instead tons lighter due to the thinning.
