I was guided and supported through what was a long and at times challenging interview process. They both took the time to truly listen, coach me, and keep my confidence up through every stage of the process. Offering me thoughtful guidance and always delivered with warmth and professionalism. Together, Saaya and Veronica make an incredibly powerful team. They complement each other perfectly -- bringing professionalism, genuine respect, and a human touch that is rare to find in recruitment. If you are looking for recruiters who will truly advocate for you, take the time to understand your goals, and stand by you through the highs and lows of a job search, look no further than Saaya and V at Pocketbook Agency. They have earned a client for life and a good friend!

They post their job ads on a variety of sites, but it is uncertain whether they view your application from them. I don't think they viewed mine at all a single time from their alternative posting .If you apply on their site, you will get an update on your application at least -- even though it seemingly is highly automated . Bottom -line: I wouldn't recommend this agency for any sorta job placement . Prepare to curb your expectations because -- by and large --they have been totally useless over the past 3 years in helping me in any meaningful way. 1) I have ten years of personal assistant experience over the past 10 years . My former clients were an : actor and comedian , poker player, and a famous rock guitarist. Having this experience under my belt, I have received a total of one interview about 3.5 years ago with the help of a staff member who is no longer with the agency. 2) I keep on getting canned responses from the newer staff with reassurances that I must not give up and keep applying as 'it's highly competitive '. However, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. And I have had zero results thus far. Now I must preface following solely , as ITS MY OPINION: 1) I believe they favor candidates in certain positions irrespective of their qualifications or merit based on non-qualifying factors or immutable characteristics thst have nothing to do with the job. 2) at the very least, i believe they're heavily biased against certain demographics that are unethical and inconsistent with the policies a job placement agency should hold in high-esteem. And at worst, theyre engaging in practices that are unlawful. 3) it is also possible they shadow-ban applicants , but don't tell them, and to these applicants own detriment , they apply to a virtual dead-end thinking the door is open, when its not. I'm kind of hurt , saddened and disappointed Ive made zero progress thus far, and not a single staff member was willing to bat for me or push my application through in earnest throughout all these years .

I called and spoke to the person who answered the phone, and he tried hard to convince me that I couldn't do any of the work they might have available -- despite a bachelor's degree from a top university and a five minute description of what I've been doing recently. I guess after talking with me for five minutes he knows my entire work history. When I politely disagreed, he actually raised his voice and scolded me. I must've spoken to the same person as the reviewer below (perhaps it is Tim O'Brien, the president of the company?). Bullet dodged.

I felt as if they cared about my career goals and interests as they would let me know when work surrounding my interests were available. Tim Obrien would always follow up with me after working to see if I was treated well or if I had any complaints about the client I was working for. I never felt that I would be asked to do anything outside of my wheelhouse and that I could always call Jason Best if I had an issue with anything. I always found the assignments with corporate clients to be great, as they would often provide lunch and have me doing something interesting. Jason Best gets a thumbs up for me. If you're looking for an agency that has your back and is interested in helping you find work, I'd give them a call.

I just encounter the worst experience Audrey (I won' say her last name) but, she lives in Washington State. There was general information you ask her about the job...she avoids answering about the job description and very vague. I sent her my resume and received good news that want to do a conference call with me .. she send me information finally about the and some tips.. don't ask her questions as she comes across like just read what I sent you. I did her Make a sigh sound when asked her questions. Well, the night before looked over everything to be prepared and I get text message with phone number and code to call in for conference call and received another text that they changed the code and again at 955am to let me me know at 10am instead they were going to call me... well, never the least CareMore/ Anthem Never called me...I waited over 20minutes before I called Audrey to say nobody called. ..she was going to check in to and again waited over hours... I had to call her to see what was going on....she had bbn o intention of calling me back...Anthem played games with along with Audrey.... a few months ago i turned down a job offer with Anthem and I didn't know if you turned down an offer that they act unprofessional about other opportunities. This Anthem in Woodland Hills, CA. Don't waste your time with Kelly Services and Anthem.

First it was issues with the wisely card then my bank. When the bank returned my deposit for some unknown reason Kelly had me wait until the next pay period processing then that Friday (already a week late) mailed a paper check which took another five days = 12 days to get paid for a returned deposit. Kelly had close my dd acct then bank would not sign off on the dd reissue for the second week so here I am waiting for my check to be mailed again Friday 05.10 for 05.02 which will be recvd sometime next week. Another 12 days. Finally after playing ping pong with Kelly and the Bank a wisely card was suppose to be overnighted to me but was put in regular mail instead (ontario branch). Most of pop live paycheck to paycheck so given the situation, I am not homeless(for real), no phone (got shut off) and hungry (no money for food). I have resorted to panhandling to get food while still showing up to work everyday. Kelly is heartless soulless and treats their employees less than the dirt on your shoe. I have had to take off work to sign up for temporary homeless shelter housing. I am truly emotionally scared by this experience working with Kelly. I would not recommend this agency to my worst enemy. Yes I am still here. Jobs are hard to come by right now. Shame on Kelly for taking a person dignity away.
