A 3 room day as we took the on "Curse of the Kraken," "The Nightmare Realm" and "The Sherlock Society." We were greeted by our game master Clarissa who is fantastic by the way. She went over the rules and gave us the story and we were on our way to adventure. We were able to take down all 3 rooms in under the time limit and they were great. Clarissa was so helpful to the group noticing when we were really stuck and offering just a slight nudge but not giving us a direct clue unless we asked. We needed a helping hand in The Nightmare Realm but we did very well on our own in the other 2 rooms. Curse of the Kraken is a small room but there is so much going on in that small space, we really enjoyed the assortment of puzzles and challenges in that room. The Nightmare Realm was our least favorite of the day but we still enjoyed it, the room has taken over where another room we previously did used to be and it has some similarities in design but all new puzzles and challenges. Sherlock Society was our favorite room of the day, we didn't need any hints in this room but still cut it close escaping at the 52 minute mark. The room is so unique and has some incredibly unique puzzles to solve, we really enjoyed every aspect of it. It was another great experience and I highly recommend all escape room lovers try out Two Trees.

The four of us were the first folks to arrive yesterday at noon for a birthday celebration escape…read moreroom adventure. While we chose the most challenging room, we were also told we would receive as many clues as we requested. We signed the releases and were given our initial instruction and a walkie talkie before entering the room. The employee aka the guide working with us told us she would be watching and could speak with us in the event we had questions . We were all excited to be able to have this experience. About 10 minutes into the first room we soon requested help via the walkie talkie. The guide gave us some oral assistance and we continued on , soon asking for help again. After what seemed like an eternity, we made it to the second room. We did our best although as we were told we again requested assistance. The walkie talkie wasn't working so we hoped the guide was watching via the cameras although she didn't appear to be paying attention to us after a bit. Communication was spotty, we didn't feel the support that was promised was happening. She finally got back to us and gave us some assistance however by then we had very little time left. We persisted and before we knew it, the voice came over the speakers and said time was up. We did ask for more time And were told we had been given 5 extra minutes. When the guide came into the room, we asked to see the rest of what we didn't get to and she obliged. We were told we were the only folks booked for the day 'although people do come last minute'. Under those circumstances we didn't understand why she wasn't more focused on our efforts and aware of our challenges. It's ok that we didn't ' escape ' although we didn't feel we received the support we were told would be available. Would we recommend or return? Probably not for us at here. This place is a better spot for folks with more experience.

We did 2 escape rooms within a week because we really enjoyed the first one so much. After Prison Break, we did "Once Upon A Time"... It's rated simpler, but it was more subjective..a little less linear, so although we still escaped, it took us 12 minutes longer work 2 extra hints. Everything was clean even bathrooms. Nice lockers to use for valuables during escape experience too. Also, check out their non profit offers! This is one of the best escape rooms our family has ever done! The room is suitable for up to 6 people. We anticipated going with a group of 4 but plans changed so it was just my boyfriend and I. The people who ran it were great. They truly cared about making it a fun experience. Not only do they do escape rooms, but they have a magic shop and run an arts nonprofit for children. I will tell you I was sort of disappointed that the room had items that were working the way they should have but we were assisted immediately by the son who came in several times to help. Overall I rate this place a 4 out of 5. Not big but overall it was fun. For the price i got it on Groupon it was a great deal. The father and son combo is cool. I first traveled to California in 2024 with a group of 30 college student-athletes for a tournament and wanted to find a place to do some team building and found 101 Escape Rooms. I reached out and owner David was more than happy to host us, come in early to accommodate our game schedule, and provide an outstanding experience. The team returned to this tournament this year (2026) and the players who were on the 2024 trip specifically asked to go to 101 Escape Rooms again. I called David and re-introduced myself and asked if we could again bring a group of 30 to do some escape rooms. He quickly said yes, provided a group discount rate, and made the experience that weekend outstanding once again. Not only are the actual rooms custom created, unique, and unlike any other escape rooms I have seen, but the staff is great, the challenge and team building potential worked exactly as planned, and I would so highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you are just hanging with friends or traveling with a larger group. 10/10 experience!
