We've been to this escape room twice. The first time was great, the second time not so much. It was Scooby Doo- Elements were missing and as others mentioned the game masters just opened things or progressed the game presumably because something malfunctioned. We also wasted a ton of time for an element that just seemingly didn't work. They gave us 5 minutes extra on the clock (I think because they felt bad for us) at the end we were super frustrated even thought we "escaped" when we told the staff about the things that didn't work they said "yeah sometimes that happens" for one of the more expensive escape rooms it made me rethink coming back. read more

I can't say enough great things about the team at Escapology! Brandon, Owen, and Zack are absolutely amazing employees and a big reason why I keep coming back to this location. Their customer service is consistently kind, attentive, and incredibly detailed. No matter how many times I've called--even with the most basic questions--they always take the time to answer thoroughly and make sure I understand everything. That level of care really stands out. My group and I have almost completed every escape room at this location, and we love the experience every time. One of the best perks is that after finishing a room, you can purchase another escape room for 50% off on a future date. It's such a great deal and makes coming back even more worth it! I do want to mention that we had one less-than-positive interaction with an employee named Maddie. During that visit, she didn't seem very welcoming and let us know that because we were a few minutes late, the screen would provide the information we needed. Even after we finished the room, the interaction felt less friendly compared to the excellent service we're used to. The lobby is nice, cool thematics. Staff was very friendly. Did the Murder Mansion room. Unfortunately the puzzles are VERY linear. Which is only really good with like 2 people - we often had a person with nothing to do. Also, the clues were more like .. solutions. I would have appreciated it more if I got pointed in the right direction, but it felt like the clue was 'hey here is the whole answer!' And that takes a lot of the joy out from discovery. Last issue was that while the room was cool.. we just didn't understand what was going on. There was the usual story at the beginning but by the end, we weren't even really sure was happening and we were just sort of doing puzzles. We finished the room with 15 minutes left, and got 3 clues and this is supposed to be one of the hardest rooms. Cool for people new to escape rooms, but escape room hobbyists will probably find these pretty simple. read more

It was not a good experience, we did the kids Scooby Doo escape room. The audios for each character was not playing once unlocked with the magnifying glass, once we told the two girls working there what happened she said that's never happened and if we were sure. The rooms are expensive for that to be happening and to not have a solution. We did go out to the front to tell them during the game, but they were no where to be found. It is falsely advertised and is extremely hard for kids to be able to do it and guide themselves through it. If you have kids, I recommend finding an alternative option. Just because it's Scooby Doo, does not mean it's for children. read more

This Escape Room is one of the best in the area. It's spacious, clean, and well-organized. We were welcomed immediately and assisted with waivers that some of our family members hadn't authorized in advance. Most of us had signed the waivers electronically beforehand (highly recommended) which sped up the process. We booked the Batman escape room called "The Dark Knight Challenge." It's very engaging and has a moderate difficulty level. It's best to do this with a team of four or more people. read more

Our family of 3 had a great time with the Batman Room. Lauren and Jovi were great game masters. We did get a couple hints when needed and successfully completed the room. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Could have been a touch cooler in the rooms, but a great time! read more

My siblings and I went here w our kids for my birthday. First off the vibe and decor is killer. All the different clocks, furniture to the escape room itself. We chose the Haunted Mansion. I don't know if the rooms had certain levels from easy to challenging, but this one was hard. It's a great team building experience. Our gamemaster Crystal was super helpful and informative at the end. We appreciated her patience w us. The kids (8 yrs old) enjoyed it. I think the specific room might of been out of their wheel house but they loved helping. read more

We called 20 minutes ahead to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late. When we arrived, the manager, Crystal, was rude, passive-aggressive, and unprofessional. She blamed the employee who answered the phone for being "in training" and said we could not go into the room despite calling ahead. She showed no empathy or apology for the situation. We had the worst experience with the Manager Crystal. We were going to be late and called to confirm if it would be okay, the person on the phone said it would be fine. As soon as we go there that rude old lady of a manager came in and started telling us that we lost the room and after explaining to her that we called and verified with the person she continued to be rude and obnoxious. We called her out and asked her why she was coming off so passive aggressive and she said she didn't mean to while still having an aggressive attitude that we were late. As a manager myself she either failed as someone who needs to train or she needs to get some training herself on customer service. Rude from the beginning to the end of the conversation. read more

(Would give 0 stars if possible) This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an escape room. I came with my daughter, excited for a fun day, and instead, we got a broken, poorly maintained room that completely ruined the experience. The game wasn't set up properly, props were already open, and multiple puzzles were broken. We had to leave the room so they could "fix" it, and even then, things still didn't work. When we asked for help, no one responded for a long time. A major decoding mechanism was also broken, making it impossible to continue properly. The staff showed zero urgency or care. I asked the manager to call me; it never happened. I asked for a refund denied. Total disappointment. Waste of money. Do NOT recommend. read more

WOW! This was so fun! I had never been to an escape room before. Went with a friend and our 4th grade kids, and this experience FAR exceeded my expectations! It was so well done. Creative, puzzles were challenging but very well planned, all the pieces were sturdy. The puzzles all made logical sense and most required teamwork to solve. We visited Escapology a couple nights ago we, did the lost city escape room and it was sadly extremely disappointing not only the room itself but the head masters working the room. The room itself had no plot or flow to it, it made no sense it felt like you were solving random puzzles to move on to the next puzzle it had nothing to do with the "story". We did ask for ONE clue at the begging. The clue was displayed on a screen and disappeared after a couple minutes and even that had no rime or reason to why or how we were supposed to solve this puzzle.... The most disappointing part of it all was they kept giving us clues without us asking!! Thats not the point of doing the escape room. At one point (without asking) the numbers to unlock 2 locks were just given to us, not even a clue, just the numbers to the lock, just ridiculous. Doors opened without us doing anything or moving things in any intentional way just such a bad room and bad experience. Again we kept getting clues up until the end of the room Once we reached the last room the "code" to get out was apparently encrypted yet the "zero" that was part of the code was an identical "O" as the rest of the "O's in the phrase so obviously not a number and once again we were just given the numbers to exit??? Extremely disappointed in this place and staff not sure if other rooms or people are better, we have done plenty of escape rooms at other locations and definitely nothing compared to this. We were planning to try all the rooms but after this experience I'm not sure we will be back felt like a waste of money to pay to be told the clues without ask. read more

This week my friend and I decided to try Escapology's "The Code" room.. and wow there were so many malfunctions! The operator had to come into the room to reset a few of the puzzles and he gave us a few more minutes on the clock due to the issues... We managed to escape (we did use a few hints) and it was a very fun escape room theme despite the issues. And at the end of "The Code", the manager offered to let us do another room for free because of our experience. So my friend and I were able to do the Pirate themed escape room for free in addition to the one we had already done. And the pirate room was SO FUN! I highly recommend it for 2-3 people. We escaped with 2 people but the room would have been more fitting for 3. Despite the issues in the first room, we had such a blast with lots of laughs! Be patient with the crew and enjoy yourself! The staff made this experience very enjoyable. read more

My first time doing an escape room, and it was deeply unsatisfying. The room wasn't reset correctly, and the items that were missing prevented us from seeing the last 40% of the main puzzle. We floundered for half of our allotted time, as progression was impossible. So we had to resort to hints, but the hints referenced the objects that were missing, so they didn't help. And when we were almost out of time they gave us a clue to do something totally arbitrary, after which the game controller just unlocked the last puzzle, presumably because they realized the game was broken. Didn't really leave us with that feeling of accomplishment we were hoping for, would not go back. read more

Overall good escape rooms for the area. I've done many escape rooms in state and out of state... (Labyrinth Escape rooms in Idaho, hands down--BEST rooms.) At Escapology, We did Lost City and Pirates Curse. The rooms were technical and thankfully not all combo locks. Well themed rooms and fun. Why the four stars? 50 bucks is crazy, the most I've paid for a room anywhere. Usually rooms are 35-40 bucks. Also, our room had some technical errors. We would place the magnetic items in the correct locations and the doors wouldn't pop open and/or didn't make a noise for us to realize what we did. The game keeper had to tell us what happened. Lastly, some of the combo locks were worn, we had the right combo, but was struggling lining it up correctly because you couldn't see the "line" to line it up. They used whiteout (sloppy job) for the worn line. Come On! Just run down to CVS and get a new combo lock! Wasted so much time on that. All in all, good place aside from higher price and errors. read more
