One of…read moremy kids is super picky and this is usually her first choice when deciding where to eat as a family. Last night I ordered the salmon salad and OH MY GOD - that may have been the most delicious salmon filet I've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to my preference. I usually order the tuna salad, which is also excellent. Last night I made a couple modifications to my salad (no candied pecans and no sugarcane vinaigrette), but when I received my plate I noticed the fresh berries and cheese were also missing. I mentioned it to my waitress and she immediately acted to fix it. I had my plate back in maybe two minutes. Things like that sort of go with the territory when you start requesting modifications, so I didn't blame her at all. Will be back. Always!

Service was a little slow but not terrible. Kids had grilled cheese and chicken tenders. GC was full of cheese and was on Texas toast. It was good. Chicken tenders seemed to be frozen style but weren't bad. I had Juci Hefer and I can say it's damn good. I did the parm truffle fries. They were good but weren't what I was expecting. One adult had the regular burger and he really liked it. GF had casual cow burger and she said it was okay but her fries were cold. Another adult had the grilled salad and it wasn't a hit. Draft beer was cold. Wednesdays are wing night, 20 for $25, and I saw a patron with wings and they looked delicious. I will definitely go back for wing night.

If there are more dogs around then he puts shadow on a leash. The food is pretty good. I would say the meatpies are good but not Natchitoches quality meat pies. They have good boudin balls and the bread pudding fingers taste like french toast sticks to me. There are so many different beer options. Types of beer include: IPAs, Stouts, Sours, and non-alcoholic. They also serve cocktails. They have an espresso martini available on certain days of the week. Can't remember when sorry. It's written on that beer fridge near the window. Again they host fun events hear like trivia. They have lots of picnic tables with carabeaners to hook up your dogs leash. Everyone is nice and it's not too loud. They have outdoor heaters above all the picnic tables. They also have giant sized outdoor games like beer pong and connect four. They also have stored on a table indoor games as well. They have dog bowls and a water-cooler jug for people/dogs to get water. They serve homemade dog food and ice cream for the dogs at $5 I believe. Food comes out pretty fast and they send you a text when it's ready to pickup at the food truck. They also have bathrooms inside the brewery. On the side of the outdoor space they have a fence and grass area to take your dog to the bathroom! Amazing place to go and even better place with your dog as there are not a lot of dog friendly places nearby.

It was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy a great beer. The place is dog friendly and the crawfish smelled great (they weren't ready yet or we'd have tried some). The staff was friendly and the beer was good. We'll be back next time we're in town.

The building reminded me more of what I would encounter in northern Sonoma, to the west of Healdsburg, or further south in the Paso Robles region. The tasting room is a decent size, although as I was the only visitor at the time, it seemed quite large. Quite a different experience from trying to enter on a Saturday night of a Jazz'n in the Vines concert. There is a patio terrace next to the building which overlooks the vineyard. Since it was a blazing hot June afternoon, I stayed inside rather than sit on the patio. There were seven wines to taste for a modest $5 fee. Four were from sourced grapes (California), two were American/French hybrids grown on the estate and the final was from a native American cultivar, also grown on the estate. All vintages were between 2005 & 2007, except for the recently released Syrah/Cabernet blend which is a 2009. I liked the Roux Saint Louis (a white wine based on the Blanc du Bois grape) as a nice summer wine. The Rouge Militaire is based on the American Cynthiana/Norton (a native red grape). It's a heavier red wine, and still needs a little time to open up. John Seago, the winemaker is often behind the bar, in the tasting room, but was out working the fields on this trip.

There was ample room on the lawn for everyone to have their picnic set up and still have enough room to move around. A food truck was on site for quick bites and of course there was wine available. I asked for something light white and not sweet and was told to try Le Trolley. This wine did not disappoint. It tasted like Sauvignon Blanc and I was pleased to learn that it is one of the wines made from the locally grown grapes. I am looking forward to returning child free so my husband and I can do a tasting and enjoy the scenery.

I love going places with Freckles McWolfington III, esq. He's my best little buddy and is always up for a ride in the truck, especially if it involves pets from strangers. Freki has got to be the friendliest pup I've ever met - if you see us out, be sure to say hi! The brewery is big and spacious, often hosting trivia nights and parties, and they showcase a LOT of great beer on tap. I'm kind of stuck on the AndyGator, but the selection is crazy huge. Come in and get a flight or two, bring your DD, and promise to switch roles on the next visit - that's how you brewery responsibly! Or Uber, someone's out there waiting to hear all about your visit as they drive you home. Love the folks here - the service is always terrific. No rush, take your time, ask questions, talk taste...these guys got you, man. We love to hang here because of the dog park area just outside, where you can sit in the shade, enjoy that beautiful dark golden brew, and watch your dogs check out every square inch of prime sniffing real estate. My little dude loves to watch for new people, so when you see him run - he's a chonk, but he's still a runner - up, give him a scratch and "good boy," he's gonna love it. On occasion, there's a food truck parked outside with tasty snacks, like the amazing pesto chicken sandwich I had a few weeks ago. The Abita Brewery is definitely a keeper and way up on the "repeat visit" list.
