Value for most things, 5 stars. The food and clothing start at the highest price on Saturday and go down every day until Friday when there's not much left. So some things are not a great deal on Saturday but if you're willing to risk it and go back in two or three days, then the price is cheaper and it's a great value, although some things are still a great value even on Saturday (think protein chips/drinks/bars and coffee)!!!! The line at 10am on a Saturday will let you know how serious some of the regulars are about getting the best quality stuff right after a shipment comes in! Ohh wait, there's more! Enter your phone # at checkout and after you spend so much (maybe $150 but that's a guesstimate) you get $10 off a purchase!!! It can't get any better!

It was apparent that there wasn't enough staff to merchandise the displays appropriately. There seems to be a good selection of sizes, but nothing really looked like you couldn't live without it. I know there are supply chain issues, but Marshalls used to be my go to place for items that were marked down because it was just off-season. And one of the very best has just returned: Paul. He is smart, store savvy, wonderfully outgoing with customers and from what we hear a favorite with employees because he is genuinely caring. And helping him now is Tyrone, who is another top-flight manager. Together they make a great team and ensure that customers always feel they matter. So, we made our first visit to the Outlet in Southington today. The differences between the two locations were striking. Southington is much larger and seemed to have a greater variety of products. It was more like a mini supermarket complete with produce, frozen goods, refrigerated goods, and a dairy case. Another difference is their 50% off room, where all sorts of non- foods items were half price. We used to pick up coffees, teas, frozen goods, and boxes of cereal at the Canton store. Just like Canton was, you have to check the pricing carefully because pricing is a real mixed bag. The Outlet is lower on some items and quite a bit higher on other items when compared to supermarket prices. We did find a few good buys- two squares of frozen jalapeno cornbread and two mini packages of frozen chocolate chip pancakes. How does $1.16 sound for all four? Yes, I thought you'd be as pleased with that as we were.
