The entrance may be bear, but the inside is not!

I love deals, and all you get at the outlet are deals. When I come back to Connecticut from Buffalo I always take quick trip to The Outlet and I never regret that decision. When you first enter this place, the first thought is probably "huh" but once you start walking the aisles and seeing the actual selection and deals, you will most certainly change you're mind. I was able to grab a good amount of snacks, shakes, and beverages for an amazing price and be on my way in around 15 minutes (the store isn't huge, but it's definitely packed with good stuff). If you want to snag some amazing deals on food and drinks, The Outlet is an awesome place that's worth hitting up once and a while. For me, I'll continue stopping in when I'm in Southington!

Meat department is excellent and well run. Didn't have time to go to Big Y. No ribeyes in the case and no butcher. I was told by the young man he leaves at 2 pm. Regardless the meat case is disgusting. Meat obviously turning color. Not many choices. One advertised as a porterhouse HAD NO FILET! I've lived here for four years and this is still by far the worst grocery meat department in the area. Their flower department is the only bright spot. Big Y always accommodating and they have Prime and Choice. I always order for my bigger events and smoke competitions from them custom cuts. No up charges and always well done. ShopRite you need a total gut job on your meat department. This is coming from a professional chef and Pitt master.

Particularly during the holidays, where he is talking about how to prepare your holiday meals. Second, my friend from New Jersey is probably the Duchess of Stew Leonard's and I had to see what this was all about. Here is my story It's like going to a Trader Joe's if you're on the West Coast, BuCees if you're on Central and southeast part of the country or I don't know I suppose a typical local giant supermarket. Here are my observations. They accommodate the local people they have so many things you can do with your children. If you're shopping in the store, they have mascots and different games you can play. The store is clean and organize organized There are many local products, they support the local community Would I go back? Probably if I lived closer, I would love to buy their vegetables which was very neatly displayed and priced. They were busy! That says something right?

They have their own wine and liquor store, plus a grab-and-go, buffet-style area with fresh, hot food. There is also an ice cream station with cotton candy and strawberry soft-serve, which is delicious. I especially love the cone cups because if the ice cream melts, it doesn't drip all over you. One of my favorite parts is the selection of pre-prepped meals you can take home and throw right in the oven, like Chicken Cordon Bleu and stuffed chicken with spinach and artichoke, along with many other options. It makes dinner so much easier. The only downside was that the avocados all seemed very overripe, so those probably aren't the best thing to buy here. Other than that, the store is well stocked and easy to shop in. I also really appreciate that they have real checkout counters instead of only self-checkout. The employees are friendly, helpful, and the service is good. Prices run a little on the higher side, but if you look around, you can definitely find some decent deals. Overall, it's a convenient and enjoyable place to shop, especially for the pre-made meals and family-friendly atmosphere.
