I was referred to the Drs. Bogie by my primary care physician. This was not my primary care physician's first choice but the Dr. of choice was out of town and my primary care physician did not want to put off specialized diagnosis and treatment of an eye. The treatment my primary care physician was antibiotic eye drops and it was working but the OD in the Drs. Bogie's office thought another would be better. I felt that the $230 charge was excessive for diagnosis by an OD but prices were not listed in the waiting room and the service by the underling had been rendered. I paid as I exited the offices. The OD asked me to follow up in a week. I did so, and all was good with the eye. I left the offices without mention of a charge for the followup. Several weeks later I received a billing for $120 for the followup visit. Once again, my bad. I did not think to ask, "How much is this followup going to cost me?". I have been to followup visits with surgeons, dermatologists, primary care physicians, specialists, and other real professionals. I have never been charged for a 3 minute followup visit with an OD. If you have the misfortune of visiting these Drs, be sure to get a price for every service or product they provide before they are applied or rendered and get every visit pre-approved with your insurance carrier. I consider these two to be greedy, dishonest individuals.

I was a patient for 8 years until recently. I never had any issue until a few weeks ago. During…read moremy annual appointment in November Dr. Glaze said I needed a contact for my right eye but have only wore one in my left eye for many years. When I tried the sample contact in the office I couldn't see anything so Dr Glaze said to just stay with wearing just my one contact. However, before Memorial Day my vision got worse so I called the office and said to order the other contact. When I received them it was for my left eye, but I wanted to be certain that it was indeed for that eye. I called the office to confirm and the girl said she would check with him and would get back with me. She never called back, so I called again and left a message on their answering machine, which states they will call back within a day. Again, didn't hear from anyone, so I called yet again because if I opened the contacts and they still didn't work I would be out the amount I already paid. I called and talked to another person and had to explain the same thing to her, and was told Dr Glaze would be back the Tuesday after Memorial Day so I waited until late Wednesday to call. I then spoke to their office manager and had to tell him the same thing and that I was having headaches and wasn't comfortable driving because my vision wasn't great. By now I was frustrated because I was then told Dr Glaze would not be back for another week . The office manager sent me more contacts that didn't work either. So, I called again and was told that they had some other contacts for me to try and I told the girl in my text that the contacts the office manger sent still didn't work, so I drove over 30 minutes one way to the office and when I got there they were the same contacts the office manager sent me, Clearly I was not happy and the office manager told me I was being difficult and rude to the staff, yet at no time did anyone offer to let me see another doctor, and they didn't even know when Dr. Glaze would be back, so if they want to say I'm was difficult, so be it. My husband runs a law office and his staff would know exactly when he would be back and they would offer a client that needed help the opportunity to see another attorney.

I was scheduled quickly and received such amazing treatment from reception to testing & clinical personnel and both physicians I interacted with as well (Dr. Shah & Dr. Grasic). . Originally I received screening for research involvement but did not qualify and instead received immediate treatment with Dr Grasic. The research team were all extremely attentive, helpful, and friendly! Dr Shah (and all clinical staff) in the research department helped put my mind at ease and described my potential treatment clearly, answering all my questions. Even upon explaining to me that I did not qualify, the staff immediately got me over to clinical side for my treatment! Dr. Grasic then began treatment and I was done with an injection in minutes. I feel confident I'm receiving excellent care with regard to my diagnosis and I highly recommend this clinic and this physician.
