In winter they load up buckets of salt and sand in one place and not spread it evenly.and its awful. you leave a sign on the front deck to not salt it but of course they do not read and your front entrance is left with tons of salt an sand to track into the house. It started off pleasant and went relatively well until the end. And the aftermath. Here are all the things that they did to destroy my property while redoing my patio. Their Electrician isn't skilled enough in outdoor lighting and screwed up. the entire system told me I had to run a whole new line for $10,000 when I didn't. He even left it unfinished with wires hanging everywhere and it was mostly unusable. I had to spend $10,000 again to get it repaired shout out to Apollo outdoor lighting they're amazing. The irrigation they shut off the zone that was surrounding my patio even though I still have things that need to be watered there and they ran over another zone, therefore destroying my irrigation system to the point where the irrigation company had to run all new lines for those two zones... another 4K down the drain. They also destroyed the landscaping in one of those zones by driving over it without any concern for my landscaping. The grout that they used in between the patio stones easily gets pressure washed out. Picture included. And lastly, they destroyed my fence. They took it apart, and when they put it back together again, it looked like a child had done it with screws folded over all over the place. Picture included. And the two fence doors I have both now are in a leaning position so you can't barely open and close them. These are the kind of people who are really nice to your face, but they don't manage their construction site as well. They leave a mess and you don't want that you want a contractor that does a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I do not recommend these guys.

The crew (2 men) knew their job and made sure the fence was straight and exactly where we wanted it. All posts were cemented in. They cleaned the fence when finished. Charlie came right out and informed us the fence was not to pool code. He helped us understand our options. We decided to take down the old fence and have them install the correct fence to meet code. Charlie was fantastic throughout the whole process. He put up a temporary fence for us and then very quickly installed the permanent fence. I found M&M Construction on Angi. We had a leak in the basement from our foundation. I called two…read morecompanies to get an estimate and M&M came in about a third of the price for roughly the same work, though their guarantee was about half (10 years) of the other company. Modesto and his sons were excellent--professional, prompt, detailed, and efficient. They sealed the foundation, installed a French drain, and buried the leaders so the gutters wouldn't deposit water along the foundation. They even replanted all of our shrubbery and laid down loom and grass seed to regrow the grass alongside of the house. They regularly communicated via text so I always knew what to expect. I later hired them to do interior work after a plumbing problem which they did once again with excellence. Modesto found the problem and suggested ways to mitigate future problems without trying to upsell me. This project involved pulling out sheetrock and finished carpentry, water mitigation, rebuilding walls, carpentry, and painting. Though it took them longer than expected because of the extent of the damage, he charged the same price that he had quoted. The work was excellent. This company will be on speed dial.

IMO of course :) They demoed our 9 brick stairs and 2 walkways in the front of my house and reinstalled using granite and concrete. They showed up and showed out everyday until completion and minded their business :) Modesto is the head! He's very thoughtful about the way he does business. He's realistic with quotes and he's a dude with A TEAM that delivers!. He stayed connected to the job and us from start to finish. We gave them the freedom to play with the final design and they did an OUTSTANDING JOB on something that's so not exciting, typically! I met with Mr. Cunningham who was very polite and professional. I gave him the dimensions of my gate and asked him to make sure the with of the gate was 46.75" wide. He stated he would and the gate would be ready to be picked up in Plymouth the following Wednesday. I paid $395.00 plus tax and drove back to Mattapoisett. I called the following Wednesday and was informed that the gate was not on the truck and I would have to wait another week to pick up the gate. After waiting another week I called your Plymouth location to see if my gate could be picked up. Didn't make the truck again!!! I was informed that the gate was in Stoughton. Now waiting 3 weeks for my gate I told Mr. Cunningham, I would pick up the gate. Picked up the gate and drove back To Mattapoisett to install the gate. The gate was manufactured to 45.75" wide and looks awful installed on my beautiful fence . Mr Cunningham made a note on the work order that " MAKE ACTUAL WITH 46.75"-THIS IS IMPORTANT. This was not a good experience. After posting this review I was contacted by the owner ,he gave me is personal cell number and he offered to replace the gate and personally deliver it to my home. Duxbury Gardeners is the construction equivalent of a puppy mill. Good looking at first blush, but…read morefull of terminal problems. The list of failures would cause a doctor to lose their license, but fortunately for Duxbury Gardeners there is no meaningful licensure in Massachusetts. Less than a year in, the stonework separated from spa, a retaining wall failed, 10 plantings died and that was AFTER the construction woes of COLLAPSING the pool company's plumbing, cutting marked underground cables, the fire pit had to be replaced (twice - "it was a known defect", why put in something that is known to be defective???) and most notably running over the septic system line despite having been informed on location (and obviously having plans) - even after being told "you know - that's not a good idea" they asked my wife anticipating that somehow women aren't intelligent. Jason is a nice guy and good crayon drawer but this company is a pure nightmare. Hard to admit making a mistake that cost this amount of money, but hopefully it saves someone else some a bigger headache. This company will leave you with a lot more to clean up than just the cigarette butts they toss on your lawn.

He could have charged me an arm and a leg (and another leg ! ) but he knew I was in a pickle and gave me a price that was way more than fair. Then he did an amazing job clearing the lots, widening the long entrances to the building, salting and he even got out of the truck to shovel out a door that was plowed in by the previous snow storm. Not only is Corey a really great guy who really helped us out in a pickle , he is a honest dealer, and does a really really great and thorough job. I highly recommend and will definitely call on again when the New England snow storms rear their ugly heads again !
