Listen I'm going to be real. I have come to this dispensary every single week for the last SEVEN YEARS. They know me well and they all recognize me when I come in. But when I came in today and saw that AI monstrosity on the tv, I straight up gagged. There is ZERO excuse to use AI generated slop. It's the cause of so many areas lacking clean water, and it DESTROYS actual artists careers. What's worse is the videos they have are some of the most basic easy to photo shop clips ever and yet they still chose ai garbage when I know FOR A FACT that SEVERAL digital artists work at this dispensary. Me and my family have spent thousands of dollars here over the years and I am truly considering boycotting this store which is unfortunate because we have been loyal so long. Literally anything on that tv would be better than that chat gpt sora video garbage. You would think owning a business in Portland one of the biggest artist capitals of the country, you would know better. I'm also writing a formal complaint to the manager because this will not stand. And I will keep complaining about it until it's removed. Unacceptable. read more

I love Deanz, from the customer service to the small bowls of candy that usually decorate this dispensary. They don't have the best deals in the area but they're the closest to where I live and I still support the cause. Generally, I only give 5 star reviews, when I get Amazing Customer Service. Each and every single employee is wonderful... They are great at what they do, and have assisted me Many, Many times, in choosing the best pain-relieving, High CBD, or indica product. Several weeks ago, I mentioned to one Employee that I get panic attacks, whenever I smoke Sativa, or Sativa hybrids. Went back a few days ago, to restock. The same employee was working. As we chatted about the strains, he said, "Now.... I remember that sativa makes you crazy. You dont want this strain, (Picked up the hybrid strain & puts back on shelf), You want THIS one, if you are looking to relax, and take the edge off." He was right! I was only in town for a couple of days and looking for what Oregon had to offer in the way of greenery. Everyone in the store was so helpful and polite showing me what unique glass pieces they had to offer and even pointing me towards the limited edition special items just for the eclipse. GREAT STORE! What made the experience even better was that for spending $100 or more I got a raffle ticket for a prize pack. I never expected to win but sure enough I was called and they even mailed out the most amazing prize pack ever to my California address. They let us both in for ONE bud-tender, started asking for product and the guy told us we should come back the next day....being Friday, that there were specials and they would stack discounts ......so we left.....back today and they only let one of us in at a time....And no stacking of discounts....there needs to be consistency on what is happening here...WTF read more

I really want to like this place. They have most of the brands I like and it's right around the corner from my house (literally a block). However, their prices on concentrates are on average $4/g more out the door than their competitors and their flower is overpriced for what it is. And beyond those two somewhat minor gripes, they have one manager in particular that always finds a way to tick me off. The first time I went in the manager made me pay extra for an exit bag even though the products I bought were already childproofed. It was only a dollar, but it still felt a little skeezy and it was definitely wasteful. Apparently he's been set straight because it hasn't happened again, but it was still a bad first impression. Then tonight, my fiancé and I went in about 15 mins before closing, got caught up looking at different products with the bud-tender and time got away from us. The manager was watching the time tick away the entire time while we were engrossed in conversation, but chose to wait until there was only 3 minutes left to make a legal sale that night to remind all of us that was the case. No big deal, we make some hasty decisions and go to check out. Nope... the bud tender had grabbed the wrong products from the freezer. She went back to the freezer found one of the right products, but the other couldn't be found so the manager yelled at her to grab the display as time was running thin. Now I don't want to be that guy, but when you're buying concentrates, anyone that knows anything knows that no one wants the display. Displays get opened so often that they often loose a lot of their scent and flavor, so much so that most places will give you a discount on it. Not only that, but there were plenty of other options I was interested in that I could have chosen in 5 seconds had they asked instead of just deciding that the aired out gram was the only option for me. Well there was no time left, so it was either an aired out sample for regular price (and this wasn't cheap shit to begin with) or no dabs for me. Now I know we went in late, but regulating sales isn't the costumers job. We shouldn't have to be watching the clock for you or pay the price in terms of quality when you fail to do business efficiently. I don't blame the bud-tender, she was doing her job well, but the manager could have stepped in a lot sooner instead of waiting until it was almost too late and making everything a lot more stressful than it needed to be. Again, I want to like this place because their products are good, it's close, and the bud-tenders are nice, but between the inflated prices and the repeated blunders committed by this manager, I am not impressed and will likely take my business elsewhere even if I have to travel farther. (Also the fact that you only put select products on sale for shatter day is very non-standard and extremely stingy.) read more

They have some good strains & special sales. Unfortunately the people working there are too aggressive, they're always very high strung. They need to relax and focus on better customer service. Last time I went in, as I was paying, the guy screamed & almost had a fit, "wait did I put a label on that?, It seems that they need less ego displayed. Unfortunately they force you to give at least one star, they don't even deserve that. I had an absolutely horrible experience at DEANZ GREENZ on Foster last evening. I'm a single mother and I also happen to have epilepsy. I've been treating it, for about 3 years, with the strain Blue Dream. I had found a deal on Leafly, where it lists twice that they have 8ths of Blue Dream 23.43% and .04 CBD for 13 dollars. When I got there I was told I would actually have pay 18 and that besides that the ad was otherwise correct, so I got my blue dream and went on my way. I went to the McDonald's, not even a mile away and realized I'd been given something that wasn't even on their menu, I was given Blue Dream 19.0% and no CBD, I still have the labeled bottle. I went back and was not only harassed and the manager didn't give me his name or tel me who I needed to talk to above him, he told me there was nothing he could do, couldn't even give me my money back. So they apparently like to send false information over to Leafly and rip people off all day. I took another screenshot this morning and it's still up on Leafly. I drove so far for that. Oh I also have an audio recording of the entire incident, because I just could not believe what was happening and when I informed the manager I was recording the incident he told me to get out and started laughing at me. No one on the staff helped me yesterday. Sure hope I don't have a seizure! I really really wish I could upload the audio but unfortunately all I can load is photos. I think I'm going to be prosecuting, just think how many people they do that to that never notice. Horrible horrible business, they should be contacting me to apologize! That manager with the emo hair and glasses was so mean to me I still am shaken up about it, not to mention I had to go and purchase THE CORRECT weed at a much better dispensary. I love this place. In fact, I exclusively only go this dispensary now. It it's across the street from my house, which is convenient. But the staff, selection and prices CANNOT be beat. Daily 15$ 1/8 specials and 5$ grams! The selection it's constantly rotating, and new strains and old strains come back. The staff here it's AWESOME!
