I'd come across a Reddit for best places to buy flower in Portland, someone was enthusiastically recommending Plus as they'd just picked up a 1/2 oz of Blueberry Muffins for 20.00 and were extremely happy with their purchase, I was in disbelief so I jumped in the ride in hopes of beating the streets freezing up. Upon arriving, I was suprised to see that this place was set up quite a bit differently than any other dispensary I've been to - there's a hallway/lobby that serves as the waiting area for a window that the Budtenders vend from, several HD monitors display the offerings. The Budtender was quick and I was out the door with my 20.00 1/2 of Blue Dream (a strain I rarely see for sale, and when I do it's generaly pricy) and a few 5.00 1/8's (Runts and another that I forget). Now, for a 20.00 1/2 oz my expectations weren't very high, it was clear that the BD was in a bit of an unmanicured state so my hopes sank a bit but man, that was some very tasty and very nice herb! I've been back several times since, the Budtenders have always been friendly/helpful and I really love the "grab and go" counter service approach. I've yet to utilize their 10% online discount (need to order above the 40-50.00 oz tier to get it) but I know I will down the road. I've yet to buy above the 50.00 oz tier, I like trying many things and man, for a 5.00 1/8 I can't complain if it's not my cup of tea and I just pass it on to my other smoking buddies. I'd say 85% of the budget purchases I've made more than exceeded my hopes, I recently picked up a 1/2 of "The Sneeze" for 25.00 that is my favorite so far, hands down so I am definitely asking for top tier flower recommendations the next time I go in!
