I've gone to highly rated dentists while living in California and will say Dr. Deena shaped two beautiful veneers that are far superior. They are perfect in shape and color while still looking very natural, unlike many veneers that lack that variance in color of natural teeth. She's an artist! Their dental assistant, Kendyll, is also highly competent and friendly. Donna in the front office is always so lovely to chat with and is on top of all the billing and insurance dealings. She does a great job explaining everything.  Alani Dental Center is very fair with pricing and has never tried to talk me into unnecessary treatments, unlike some dentists I've been to over the years. Art of Dentistry had been able to get me in when I broke a molar, save the remainder of the tooth, place a temporary crown and order the permanent - all on a pretty tight time line. I was SO impressed with the staff from my first phone call to the moment I walked out with NO pain and great work done. My third visit was just a pleasant. Judith whisked me back to the dental area upon arrival (didn't these folks get the memo that your supposed to overbook and make your patients wait forever?) She was so pleasant. Liz and Myra who helped me on my first and second visit both took the time to say "hello" and chatted. Dr. Harris was prompt, courteous, explained what he was going to do, made sure I was comfortable every moment and now I have a lovely back molar. Even the gal who has the least enviable job there - Sonia - who collects your money, is just so nice and makes sure you understand the charges, which I found reasonable for all the work done to save this tooth. I may have hated dentists in the past, but NOT ANYMORE. I actually gladly booked a full exam so I can take care of other issues. I have found my dental office for all my future needs. What a relief!

This is on behalf of my 80 year old mom. She had them do dentures with the magnetic implants a few…read moreyears back. This past summer She went to them again to have them re-lined due to a lose fit. After setting them in place with the mold material, they became stuck in her mouth. the Dentist attempt to pull and pry them out until the pain became far too much for. spent a week without being able to remove them and recovering from the pain. went back for second visit and again the dentist could remove the dentures from her mouth and again put her in extreme pain. 3rd visit they finally were able to remove the dentures and clean out the material they use to form the reline fit. She came back home and never did have the fit corrected. she's 81 yrs old at the time. the still charged her $688. Dentures not fixed, and putting an 81 yr old lady through crazy pain, anxiety and distress. We have since moved out of state for family and home where that is ADA so we can take care of her. When called to split the bill in 2 payments they were upset. After relaying the issues with the failed procedure, continued to ask for her to come back in. 1st, after that torture why would anyone go back for more? 2nd informed them several times during the call that we are now out of state and nowhere close enough to go back anyway. ( still intending to pay the bill ) Even after telling them we would be paying the bill, the were rude and unapologetic. I assume they thought we were just trying to get out of paying a bill. Maybe they should have checked the record of the visits and issues. How can anyone do such lousy work, never complete the work the work, put an 81 year old mobility challenged lady through that much pain, and then not only charge nearly $700 for the pleasure of their company, but also get rude over the billing?
