I can't say enough about Debbie and her spectacular service and flowers. Her arrangements were magnificent. Where other vendors offered standard ideas and flowers, she created the most beautiful samples for us to see. Honestly it was hard to select one. She and her team set the room up beyond our expectations. EVERYONE talked about them. Even the Whitby manager took note of how exceptional they were. I will not use anyone else going forward. For my son's wedding flower's arrangement Debbie promised to do the best at a reasonable price. Now we know why: half of the flowers were silk, not real. She told us she would pick up the flowers from the Hall, "keep them" for us (yea included in the price!) in her refrigerators and redeliver them a couple days later for the follow up festivities. From about 40 big bouquets she redelivered 3, saying the other flowers were not good anymore... (and where were all the silk flowers then??). Also just after mid-wedding her workers and her decided to clean up and took away the flower arrangements into their trucks, while we were obviously too busy to realize what was happening. I swear they have sooooo much potential. But why is every person working there so so rude?! It's like you're calling the courts. They all sound miserable. I asked for one thing, they sent another. I complained and they told me to purchase a new one but they will make it special. It was not special. And now they incorrectly charged a card wrong and instead of fixing it right away they say "call back when the lady who does the books is in". What does that have to do with my time. So terrible. My fiance bought 2 dozen roses on Valentines day at Debbies flowers for me. I unwrapped them and noticed half of the petals were brown or yellow. I went in the following day with 1 of the flowers to show them and Debbie ignored the conversation I was having with the girl at the front desk. Eventually Debbie obnoxiously told me to return all the flowers so she can see them. I didnt hear "Im sorry" or remorse, just attitude. I told her never mind, she doesnt have to me any favors. The girl at the front said she will have someone pick them up and replace them, I gave them my address (only 1 mile away) its been days and no one came by to replace them. You would think for a local small florist she would be nice to her customers, apparently she doesnt need everyone business - she has enough? Side not she did the flowers at my sons bar mitzvah when she first opened which was done very nice! Recently I had her send flowers to friends homes for holidays and have been embarrassed by the arrangement that they sent. Its typical a new business starts out great until they get a good reputation and then cut corners and slack off and end up out of business read more

Horrible experience. I would not recommend her ever. Used her for my daughters bat mitzvah. The room thankfully did look beautiful but I was concerned because of her lack of responsiveness throughout the process. She has talent but her office staff is nasty and she shrugged it off. She never returns phone calls and her voice mail is always full. After my affair, she had another affair scheduled at my venue and she offered to take all of our stuff to our house in her truck because we were trying to figure out how to get it all home. I realize now that the offer was because she wanted us to leave quickly so she could setup her next party at the same venue right after ours. Needless to say, I never received our things and never received a call back. The party was in May 2017. Saw her the other day and asked her and she gave some bs story that she had it but thinks it is damaged because of a flood. Big smile on her face, friendly as could be. My other daughters' bat mitzvah is being planned now and that is what brings it to mind..her piece of the last one was the only piece that brings anxiety to me. If I could give -1star I would. Wish I could give below zero rating!! Terrible arrangement and terrible customer service! DO NOT ORDER BOUQUETS FROM HERE- waste of money and if you are giving as a gift - you will be embarrassed by the horrible quality and the person getting the flowers will get NO enjoyment from them. The flowers are terrible quality, and the way they put it together on top of that is so skimpy. My husband got my flowers from here for Mother's Day- spent $60 and when he went to pick them up they looked just OK- so he added 3 more orchid flowers (individual, not the entire orchid branch) for $8 a piece- which was literally wilted by the end of the day because it was a less them cm stem in a plastic capsule of water that they placed in bouquet. That's what they charge $8 a piece for. Then literally part of bouquet wilted the next day including the two full hydrangeas which made up half of this bouquet. (Also got a Mother's Day balloon from there which was out of air in like 2 days when another one I have from Party City is still holding strong weeks later. I'm adding this because I just saw someone else comment about balloons now holding air so I guess that's true). I called to speak to manager the next day about what happened with bouquet- she was completely unapologetic, slightly obnoxious and told me "i'm the only one who has called about this" trying to speed me along and get to the point because she sounded like she could care less about what I was saying- she said she will send a replacement bouquet. Two weeks later, I just received the replacement bouquet and was shocked! I was surprised they were not embarrassed to send that out to make up for what they did for an $84 bouquet! Sent a small little bouquet with terrible flower quality (literally flower leaves have holes in them and dying already/sick) and flower choice that cost them maybe $8 wholesale to make (which I know because my family is in the party planning business). I have never ever seen such terrible quality of flowers from florist in my life (and I am a flower lover, always buy and order flowers) , such lack of care in putting flowers together (it looks like someone just slops it together), and such lack of customer service. I have never had such a negative experience in my life. As a local shop owner, I try to support local businesses whenever possible. I would encourage people to avoid this shop at ALL COSTS!! Not only was my order done completely wrong despite my providing a picture of what I wanted, when they remade the piece it was STILL wrong. When I pointed this out, Debbie, the owner, came out from the back screaming at me that she had been in the flower business for 45 years and NEVER had a customer provide a picture for a "simple corsage order". Yelling at me the entire time, she called me unreasonable for being so particular and that she had already remade the item once. No mention that it was nothing like what I ordered, no apology, and no phone call that they couldn't make what I had requested (even though the order had been placed a week before). At that point, she ordered me out of the store. It would seem that if she couldn't make a "simple" corsage according to a photo found online from an out of state florist, that 45 years of experience isn't an indicator of talent or professionalism. 10 minutes at a different nearby florist fixed the problem. i called debbie's florist wed dec 3 . i ordered balloons with a jewish congratulations theme for my 7 year old grandaughter. they only had 7. sounded strange, but they were the only ones around with this balloon so i made the order.they promised friday delivery by 3:30 before the sabbath. at 11:45 fri am ( supposed day of delivery), i recieved a call from debbies that the balloons were not holding air. at this late date with no choice, i ordered flowers. now, no promise of before sabbath delivery. but still, no choice. i called back to speak to a manager. a VERY LOUD AND UNFRIENDLY person got on the phone. i asked her to make sure the arrangement did not look skimpy as the last time i ordered flowers from them for $75.00 i was embarrassed when i saw what they sent. the obnoxious lady actually screamed at me and yelled " if you didnt like what we did last time, why did you call us again?" i told her i ordered jewish themed balloons , NOT flowers. she then yelled and said " i am cancelling your order and refunding your money. we will not send anything" . i begged her that it was for my 7 year old grandaughter. SHE THEN HUNG HUNG UP ON ME!. i called right back. same person answered. same yelling, same response. i was in shock. i could not believe that someone in a service company would do that. PLEASE!!!! dont ever use th.em if you want a nice show of flowers or friendly, reliable service. the quantity of their floweres was skimpy and their ballons don't hold air. can you imagine??? if i could have rated them below zero i would have. horrible experience. read more
