From the moment we emailed, met with them face-to-face, and later at the reception - EVERYTHING was professional and wonderful. They were all SO helpful and listened to everything we wanted. Dawn, the owner, even remembered to ask if we had any guests who were gluten and/or lactose free. Also, there were several young children on the guest list and the child's meal that was provided was EXCEPTIONAL. I think the kids ate everything on their plates - which is a true test of the wonderful taste of the food. From going with the 'rustic, vineyard' theme we wanted in our decorations, to providing wonderful, amazing food - Delicious Details was a true 5 star experience for us. The process was super simple. I found her on yelp. She hit me back probably w/in 15-20 minutes. I wanted a nice meal made for my wedding anniversary. Year 11 married for Hubby and I. I knew I wanted steak and potatoes. She came up w/the chimmichurri (which I knew I loved), zuppa tuscana and infused strawberry shortcake. Also need to note the chimmichurri tasted so fresh, and flavorful I wanted to eat just the chimnichurri w/a spoon or slather it on EVERYTHING!! I definitely ate at least have of my brussel sprouts w/this magical, fresh, herby sauce.... because it was that damn good! Eating this had me thinking up schemes... ahem plans to get Layha to stay and cook more... or everything . I can and end very much enjoy cooking... but now I feel like I can't go back to my own cooking (woman womp). Oh well. I already booked Chef Layha for New Year, my birthday and Mother's day before the meal was completed. She also made these cute and small bourbon infused strawberry shortcakes. Real strawberries.
