The congregation feels like family and welcomes both young and old alike. The youth program here is amazing and promotes healthy and happy relationships with peers and with God. We moved to Asheboro about a year and a half ago, and felt welcomed immediately. As a matter of fact, I was approached first thing by the head of the women's group who welcomed me with open arms. She introduced me to another member who brought me to our women's meeting following our worship service. The Elder's Quorum even helped us move into our new home. bringing with them a crew of 6 men with trucks and trailers. It took them only about a couple of hours to load our belongings from our storage unit into our house. We are truly blessed to worship the Lord and learn of his Gospel no matter where we go, as we will find the same welcome, the same principles and the same Gospel of Jesus Christ in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
