The most successful students in college are the ones that figure this out coming out of high school. There has to be a point to learning a curriculum - better communication, increased creativity, leading innovation, professionalism. These are not notions reserved for adults only, if we promote these notions with our children early, they will rise to the occasion and wow us. I enlisted the help of WWT to help me do that with our kids and supplement (correct) some of the concepts taught in a standard curriculum. I have found Lindsey's philosophy aligned with mine. I want my children to love to learn - about everything. Nowadays, where science and mathematics facts are disputed without regard for the hard work that supports their discovery, it is important that we take a look at how our children are taught to analyze the world. I highly recommend WWT to be your partner in educating your children.

The program is very well organized and the tutors provided are consistently knowledgeable, patient and experienced in working with children. I worked with Tara for 1-month and saw immediate progress in my abilities. Tara is an effective…read moreGMAT tutor because he has thoroughly studied the test. One thing I struggled with prior to working with Tara was identifying what is actually being tested. I would just do the problems, get some wrong, get some correct, and then move on. Tara emphasized an error log and thinking about why I got something wrong, which really helped me. Tara helped me move my score from 42 to a 47 on the Quant section. His insights to Data Sufficiency questions were worth at least 2 of the 5 points that I added, bringing my combined score to a 710.

I was applying to Executive MBA programs and had decided to take the Executive Assessment(EA)…read moreinstead of the GMAT. The EA is an alternative that many schools are using, but there isn't as much info and test techniques as there is for the GMAT. I purchased the official study material provided by GMAC. Still, after taking the EA, I found that the material and practice tests weren't as accurate a portrayal of a real exam as I had hoped, especially for the Quant section. After receiving my scores from the first exam, it was clear I'd need to retake the test and needed some help brushing up on my quant skills. I interviewed several companies that promised an increase in my score, but none took a personable approach until I found Tara. Tara took the time to understand what I needed, my history, and where I wanted my score to end up to get into one of my top choice schools. I didn't have a lot of time before my next exam, so Tara focused on my weaknesses, and we worked almost daily up until exam day. He shared many short-cuts and tricks to help get to the root of the question and eliminate the "noise." He provided many reference notes and made sure that I genuinely understood before moving to the next topic, always encouraging along the way. He is amazingly flexible as he was able to work about my schedule and meet early in the mornings. With Tara's help, I was able to increase my quant score high enough to get into one of my top choice business schools, and I would recommend Tara to anyone!

He was…read morevery polite very helpful listening to all of my concerns and problems in regards to Varsity tutors and made sure that with his help my kids will be ready now to take that sat. Simply on the way AJ handled today, Varsity tutors was given two more stars by me. Thank you AJ and Danny! ************************************************* The only good thing about varsity tutor was the tutor we had. Danny was awesome! knew his SAT information and really cared about if my kids passed the SAT or not. This was the only good thing about varsity tutors. They're very money-oriented, only caring about the money. No one in the office can speak decent English. You can't understand what they are saying . Trying to have a conversation with them is impossible because they don't understand what you're saying and they keep repeating what you're saying so you can never get them to answer a simple question. Their billing department is very disorganized and inconsistent. They quit billing for my kids for literally 30 sessions and then stop my kids tutoring saying I was behind when the truth was they didn't know how to bill and was charging the wrong scholarship ( which was in a totally different state than we are in). Once the problem was located, which by the way; I am the one that caught the billing mistake, they never went about and re billed to get paid. My children couldn't even finish this diagnostic testing because their hardware never works and you can stay online for hours with I keep trying to fix it and it never can figure out what's wrong with their system. My kids left varsity tutors scared to even take the SAT. If it wasn't for their tutor pushing them forward and encouraging them,my kids would have never passed. Do not waste your money timer effort there are way better tutor companies .

I had a very frustrating experience with Varsity Tutors and would not recommend their service…read more I signed up for a $249/month plan that included a fixed number of tutoring hours. However, over multiple months, I was charged inconsistently significantly higher amounts above my plan monthly, resulting in $193.90 in additional, unexplained fees (Jan-Mar), plus an extra charge after cancellation in April. They never agreed to refund the extra charge and only gave me extra credit hours. The company claims these are "supplemental tutoring fees" for extra time, but I never requested or approved any additional hours. My child only attended scheduled sessions within the agreed timeframe. What's most concerning: There is no clear approval or control mechanism for "extra" time Tutors can apparently bill beyond scheduled sessions without client consent Charges are not transparently tracked in the user dashboard Customer support repeatedly gives scripted responses without resolving the issue I ended up canceling my subscription because of these unexplained charges, yet I was still billed again afterward. This billing model feels opaque and, frankly, misleading. At minimum, there should be explicit approval required before any additional billable time is added.
