I loved the open layout with Bierhalle-inspired long table community-style seating. Beer always tastes better when you're with your friends and this is a great way to get everybody together. The garage door windows are a nice touch. They were closed during my visit, but we enjoyed the natural light. A variety of beers are on tap. I liked the German-inspired brews, however a couple of lagers and IPAs were also available. Taste is subjective, but there should be something for everybody. Food isn't served, however my friends said you're allowed to order from the restaurant next door and bring it back.

I loved the pineapple jalepeno mule, comes with chunks of fresh jalepeno. The raspberry whisp was okay, just seemed a bit watered down. I do enjoy their selection of beers which includes fun flavors like the mango habanero IPA. Service was great again, we were there during a shift change, closed out with our first server so we could tip, and she made sure to bring another server to switch and take care of us.

So another feeling of accomplishment there. Steve joined in with me on this beer experience as he usually does. The beer that we had was the Citra Soaker which is an IPA... Untappd specifies further that it's an imperial or double IPA. Oh yes... and a hazy kind too. This was a good beer! Of course the bitterness that goes with an IPA was there as well as along with citrus and dry Hopped flavor... which I very much enjoy coming across with my tastebuds with beers and ciders sometimes... that dry hopped presence... ah... very nice.

The food was good, the cocktails were well made, and we left looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, our second visit didn't live up to that first impression. The food was still decent, but the cocktails were disappointing and lacked the quality we experienced before. The dining room was also quite noisy, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation. One issue that was consistent on both visits was the service. While the staff was friendly, our wait service wasn't very attentive either time, and we often found ourselves waiting longer than expected for drinks and other needs, including getting our bill. I chased down the waitstaff on each visit just to pay. Based on our two experiences, Liquid Assets has shown it can be very good, but the inconsistency makes it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. We probably won't be in a hurry to return, though we hope they can provide a more consistent experience in the future.

I would've liked a different barbecue sauce because the one she gave me was extremely vinegary but there was no "how is your food?" "Can I get you guys anything?" So I just went without. There also wasn't other servers really around, they were all hiding in the back even though there was 5 of them. Were they cooking? Back there playing on their phones? I'd really love to know. But they all seemed to check on their tables way more than we were checked on. The guy behind us was checked on 6 times by a different waiter, and they were there longer than we were. Our server: 1. Asked us what we wanted to eat 2. Brought us the check when it was time to pay; waited 20 minutes to come back to pick up the card. TLDR: SERVICE WAS AWFUL.

The fries were very spicy but tasty. In addition, I ordered a bowl of chili. The description and photo included cheese, chips and sour cream. When it arrived it was just chili. It was delicious even without the missing items. Because the order was not completed correctly, I can't give a 5 star for service.
