So good, super welcoming restaurant the second you walk in. The decorations are so cool. Our servers name was Eric he was so nice and very attentive. We ordered desserts at the end and made sure we were apart of the rewards to make sure we could get a free dessert! We got the Brownie and cookie dough cheesecake to-go. The brownie was to die for so soft and moist even after 10 minutes of sitting. We haven't tried the cheesecake yet we were so full, but it looks insanely good. The Rueben was great, my boyfriend ordered it his only complaint was the sauce was a little more on the oilier side and had more of a vinegary taste than what we prefer. The sandwich was so good, I was worried about it being too much pickle, honestly wish it had more of a pickle taste to be honest. I ordered takeout. There is a debate over whether the Reuben was invented in NY by Arnold Reuben or in Lincoln by Reuben Kulakofaky. I decided to try a classic Reuben while in Lincoln (when in Rome). It was so delicious. The sandwich appeared to be thin n the photos so I ordered double meat. I also subbed out loaded cosmik fries. The fries were very spicy but tasty. In addition, I ordered a bowl of chili. The description and photo included cheese, chips and sour cream. When it arrived it was just chili. It was delicious even without the missing items. She took our order and as it took some time to come. Our drinks came after 15 minutes or more. Our orders were somehow mixed up and they took that off Service was good. Ambiance was chill. Hopcat was always a favorite of mine when I was in college a few years ago, and I recently went back and tried it again! I love the interior, the decor is super unique and there's something new to look at everywhere! It did take our server about 10 minutes to come say hi and get our drink orders, but she was apologetic and offered a free appetizer, so that made up for it. We got the cheese curds and they were unique but SO GOOD. They came with a bloody mary aioli and that was also really good! I ordered the Madtown Grilled Cheese, which was always my favorite. It was overall pretty good, but the sliced apples on it were honestly too thick, they used to be very thinly sliced, but they were so thick the apple almost overpowered the grilled cheese, so that was disappointing. It was our first time going here. The place seems clean and tend to attract people, I'm guessing because of the food and drinks. I saw quite a few doordash orders and people were definitely coming in, in groups after I had placed my order. My order took longer than the 15-20 minutes I was told. Negative the lady who put my or order together didn't give us utensils. The brisket was tender but once I had put it all together my masterpiece was salty.. The fries were cold 3. Hangover burger - This was amazing and all you really need. It was a flavor explosion in your mouth with every bite. Honestly, this was the only thing they got right. 4. Crème brûlée cheesecake - This thing looked fake. When we bit into it the cheesecake was hard and tasted funny. It didn't taste like cheesecake or Crème brûlée. The caramel topping they give you just makes it worse. It didn't taste like caramel. The consistency of it all was just off. 5. Reese's Pie - It was decent nothing special. I'd compare it similar to a hershey's pie at Burger King. I'd say the one at Burger King is better and worth every penny, compared to paying double the price here. This place was busy, based on reviews, the way the food looks in pictures. I expected way more. The lady who took my order seemed nice and she seemed all over my order. My husband and I stopped by right in time to grab some last-minute food. We had the beer and wine passport that provided a free order of cosmic fries that were delicious! Seasoned fries with cheese sauce... Yes please! We grabbed a couple beers on draft and ate our fries and that's about it. The few bartenders we interacted with were very nice, and the space looked pretty cool to hang out and visit with friends next time. Both dishes we ordered (The Wings, Pickled chicken sandwich) were serviceable, but nothing stood out. The eccentric staff failed to do any of the standard things you'd expect at a sit down restaurant. Our table lacked silverware, napkins, and water. We had to ask for each. Parking downtown can be tricky, so we opted for the nearby parking garage (for a small fee). It was pretty slow in there for a Sunday, but service seemed extra slow. My friend tried to order 2 different beers before finding one they were not out of, and when we did finally order one, it seemed to take a really long time to get our drinks. The inside of the restaurant in savagely cool with the rock album themed floating ceilings to the black and white cartoon art that surrounds the restaurant walls.
